The oxidation behavior of Ni-Cr-Al-Y coating produced by multi-arc ion plating with and without an enamel coating was investigated in flow oxygen and oxygen containing water vapor at 900 ℃. The results show that Ni-Cr-Al-Y coating exhibits low oxidation rate at 900 ℃ in pure oxygen and the oxidation kinetics follow the parabolic rate law. The presence of water vapor accelerates the oxidation rate of Ni-Cr-Al-Y coating and K38G *** enamel top coating is very effective in protecting the Ni-Cr-Al-Y coating from water vapor corrosion attack, but the corrosion attack beneath the enamel coating is not observed.

AIM:To explore the effect of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)inhibition by erlotinib and EGFR siRNA on epidermal growth factor(EGF)-induced activation of retinal pigment epithelium(RPE)***:Human RPE cell line(ARPE-19 cells)was activated by 100 ng/mL *** and EGFR siRNA were used to intervene EGF *** viability,proliferation,and migration were detected by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT)assay,bromodeoxyuridine(BrdU)staining assay and wound healing assay,***/protein kinase B(AKT)pathway proteins and N-cadherin,α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),and vimentin were tested by Western blot *** was also determined by immunofluorescence ***:EGF treatment for 24h induced a significant increase of ARPE-19 cells’viability,proliferation and migration,phosphorylation of EGFR/AKT proteins,and decreased total EGFR *** suppressed ARPE-19 cells’viability,proliferation and migration through down regulating total EGFR and AKT protein *** also inhibited EGF-induced an increase of proliferative and migrative ability in ARPE-19 cells and clearly suppressed EGF-induced EGFR/AKT proteins phosphorylation and decreased expression of N-cadherin,α-SMA,and vimentin ***,EGFR inhibition by EGFR siRNA significantly affected EGF-induced an increase of cell proliferation,viability,and migration,phosphorylation of EGFR/AKT proteins,and up-regulation of N-cadherin,α-SMA,and vimentin ***:Erlotinib and EGFR-knockdown suppress EGF-induced cell viability,proliferation,and migration via EGFR/AKT pathway in RPE *** inhibition may be a possible therapeutic approach for proliferative vitreoretinopathy(PVR).

Elemene, derived from Curcuma wenyujin, one of the "8 famous genuine medicinal materials of Zhejiang province," exhibits remarkable antitumor activity. It has gained wide recognition in clinical practice for effectiveness on tumors. Dr. xie Tian introduced the innovative concept of "molecular compatibility theory" by combining Chinese medicine principles, specifically the "monarch, minister, assistant, and envoy" theory, with modern biomedical technology. This groundbreaking approach, along with a systematic analysis of Chinese medicine and modern biomedical knowledge, led to the development of elemene nanoliposome formulations. These novel formulations offer numerous advantages, including low toxicity, well-defined composition, synergistic effects on multiple targets, and excellent biocompatibility. Following the principles of the "molecular compatibility theory", further exploration of cancer treatment strategies and methods based on elemene was undertaken. This comprehensive review consolidates the current understanding of elemene's potential antitumor mechanisms, recent clinical investigations, advancements in drug delivery systems, and structural modifications. The ultimate goal of this review is to establish a solid theoretical foundation for researchers, empowering them to develop more effective antitumor drugs based on the principles of "molecular compatibility theory".

In engineering applications,concrete crack monitoring is very *** methods are of low efficiency,low accuracy,have poor timeliness,and are applicable in only a limited number of ***,more comprehensive detection of concrete damage under different scenarios is of high value for practical engineering *** image correlation(DIC)technology can provide a large amount of experimental data,and neural network(NN)can process very rich ***,NN,including convolutional neural networks(CNN)and back propagation neural networks(BP),can be combined with DIC technology to analyze experimental data of three-point bending of plain concrete and four-point bending of reinforced *** addition,strain parameters can be used for training,and displacement parameters can be added for comprehensive *** data obtained by DIC technology are grouped for training,and the recognition results of NN show that the combination of strain and displacement parameters,i.e.,the response of specimen surface and whole body,can make results more objective and *** identification results obtained by CNN and BP show that these technologies can accurately identify *** identification results for reinforced concrete specimens are less affected by noise than those of plain concrete *** is more convenient because it can identify some features directly from images,recognizing the cracks formed by macro *** can issue early warning of the microscopic cracks,but it requires a large amount of data and *** can be seen that CNN is more intuitive and efficient in image processing,and is suitable when low accuracy is adequate,while BP is suitable for occasions with greater accuracy *** two tools have advantages in different situations,and together they can play an important role in engineering monitoring.

The development of effective and sustainable solutions for pleiotropic water purification becomes urgent and *** Fenton-like catalysts for activation of peroxymonosulfate（PMS） to purify organic wastewater show great *** this work,by tuning metal loading with an in-situ polydopamine coating strategy,oxygen vacancy-enriched Co3O4loading on N-doped carbon nanotubes（CNTs） were constructed to enhance PMS activation efficiency for pollutants ***,the obtained modified CNTs afford a well-developed N-containing network structure,which is further endowed with abundant Co（Ⅱ）/Co（Ⅲ） redox cycles and significant metal-carbon *** particular,the surface N doping in CNTs might induce the oriented enrichment of pollutants around the catalyst,which reduces the migration distance and correspondingly improves the utilization of reactive oxidative *** electron transfer efficiency of the catalyst can be further improved by incorporating oxygen vacancy-enriched *** performance results show that the optimal NC/Co-1 could mineralize 20 × 10-6of bisphenol A（BPA） by almost 98% in 8 min.A low reaction activation energy(26.05 kJ·mol-1) in BPA degradation was demonstrated by the NC/*** importantly,NC/Co-1 can inherit excellent degradation performance towards oxytetracycline,2,4-dichlorophenol,and tetracycline,showing wide practical *** addition,by virtue of the photothermal conversion property,NC/Co-1 achieves an additive function for interfacial solar water evaporation(1.84 kg·m-2·h-1,112.51%),showing impressive potential for clean water recovery under complicated environmental pollution conditions.

The development of novel piezoelectric catalysts against harsh conditions is indeed crucial for improving the piezo-catalytic degradation efficiency of colored organic dyes in *** this work,6H-SiC nanoparticles（NPs） are utilized to piezo-catalytic degrade rhodamine B（RhB） and methylene blue（MB） under ultrasonic vibration for the first *** degradation efficiency of RhB and MB reaches 98.8% and 98.7%within 80 *** piezoelectricity of 6H-SiC is comprehensively analyzed by the piezoresponse force microscope（PFM） and finite element method（FEM）.The strong oxidizing active free radicals generated by the continuous piezoelectric polarized electric field of 6H-SiC,i.e.,·O2-and·OH,induce the decomposition reactions of colored organic dyes in *** the dyes are proven to degrade to harmless or less-harmful products gradually during the piezo-catalysis process by high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry（HPLC-MS）.Moreover,RhB is also decomposed efficiently by 6HSiC NPs under acidic and alkaline *** results prove the feasibility of 6H-SiC for decomposing common water pollutants under harsh conditions and provide a new perspective for water purification.
