Effect of Inoculation with Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungus on Nitrogen and Phosphorus Utilization in Upland Rice-Mungbean Intercropping System

The effect of arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi （AMF） on plant growth and nutrition utilization in upland rice and mungbean intercropping system was studied. A pot experiment was conducted in the greenhouse and AMF colonization rates of rice and mungbean roots, plant nutrient contents, the ability of nitrogen fixation, and nutrient contents changed in the soil were analyzed. The results were obtained as follows： the rates of AMF colonization of rice and mungbean roots were reached to 14.47 and 92.2% in intercopping system, and increased by 4.11 and 11.95% compared with that of in monocropping; the nirtrogen contents of mungbean and rice were increased by 83.72 and 64.83% in shoots, and 53.76 and 41.29% in roots, respectively, while the contents of iron in shoot and root of mungbean were increased by 223.08 and 60.19%, respectively. In the intercropping system with inoculation of AMF, the biomass of mungbean increased by 288.8%. However, the biomass of rice was not significantly changed among all treatments with or without inoculation of AMF recorded. The number and dry weight of nodules were significantly increased either when mungbean was intercropped with rice or inoculated with AMF. When compared with that of monocropping without AMF inoculation, the contents of nitrogen, phosphorus and iron in nodules of intercropping mungbean with inoculation increased by 80.14, 69.54 and 39.62%, respectively. Additionally, intercropping with AMF inoculation significantly increased soil nitrogen content, but reduced soil phosphorus content. We concluded that upland rice-mungbean intercropping system and inoculation with AMF improved the nutrient uptake, the ability of nitrogen fixation and the growth of mungbean.

The novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)pandemic is emerging as a global health threat and shows a higher risk for men than *** far,the studies on andrological consequences of COVID-19 are *** ascertain the consequences of COVID-19 on sperm parameters after recovery,we recruited 41 reproductive-aged male patients who had recovered from COVID-19,and analyzed their semen parameters and serum sex hormones at a median time of 56 days after hospital *** longitudinal analysis,a second sampling was obtained from 22 of the 41 patients after a median time interval of 29 days from first *** with controls who had not suffered from COVID-19,the total sperm count,sperm concentration,and percentages of motile and progressively motile spermatozoa in the patients were significantly lower at first sampling,while sperm vitality and morphology were not *** total sperm count,sperm concentration,and number of motile spermatozoa per ejaculate were significantly increased and the percentage of morphologically abnormal sperm was reduced at the second sampling compared with those at first in the 22 patients *** there were higher prolactin and lower progesterone levels in patients at first sampling than those in controls,no significant alterations were detected for any sex hormones examined over time following COVID-19 recovery in the 22 *** it should be interpreted carefully,these findings indicate an adverse but potentially reversible consequence of COVID-19 on sperm quality.

Malnutrition is a common comorbidity among patients with ***,no nutrition-screening tool has been recognized in this population.A quick and easy screening tool for nutrition with high sensitivity and easy-to-use is *** on the previous 25 nutrition-screening tools,the Delphi method was made by the members of the Chinese Society of Nutritional Oncology to choose the most useful item from each *** to these results,we built a nutrition-screening tool named age,intake,weight,and walking(AIWW).Malnutrition was defined based on the scored patient-generated subjective global assessment(PG-SGA).Concurrent validity was evaluated using the Kendall tau coefficient and kappa consistency between the malnutrition risks of AIWW,nutritional risk screening 2002(NRS-2002),and malnutrition screening tool(MST).Clinical benefit was calculated by the decision curve analysis(DCA),integrated discrimination improvement(IDI),and continuous net reclassification improvement(c NRI).A total of 11,360 patients(male,n=6,024(53.0%)were included in the final study cohort,and 6,363 patients had malnutrition based on *** on AIWW,NRS-2002,and MST,7,545,3,469,and1,840 patients were at risk of malnutrition,*** sensitivities of AIWW,NRS-2002,and MST risks were 0.910,0.531,and 0.285,and the specificities were 0.768,0.946,and *** Kendall tau coefficients of AIWW,NRS-2002,and MST risks were 0.588,0.501,and 0.326,*** area under the curve of AIWW,NRS-2002,and MST risks were0.785,0.739,and 0.630,*** IDI,c NRI,and DCA showed that AIWW is non-inferior to NRS-2002(IDI:0.002(-0.009,0.013),c NRI:-0.015(-0.049,0.020)).AIWW scores can also predict the survival of patients with *** missed diagnosis rates of AIWW,NRS-2002,and MST were 0.09%,49.0%,and 73.2%,*** showed a better nutritionscreening effect than NRS-2002 and MST for patients with cancer and could be recommended as an alternative nutritionscreening tool

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of neuroendoscopy combined with lateral ventricle drainage and urokinase infusion for the treatment of hypertensive intraventricular ***:A retrospective analysis of 20 patients diagnosed with intraventricular hemorrhage between March 2017 and August 2018 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Medical College,Shihezi University(Shiohezi,China)was *** actively treating primary lesions,20 patients with intraventricular hemorrhage were selected and treated using minimally invasive neuroendoscopic removal of intraventricular hematoma combined with lateral ventricular drainage and urokinase perfusion according to each patient’s ***:One day after surgery,head computed tomography examination revealed that>50% of the hematoma in the lateral ventricle was removed in 14 cases,and 20%-50% of the hematoma in the other 6 *** follow-up,13 patients exhibited satisfactory recovery,5 died(3 due to lung infection,1 due to intracranial infection,and 1 due to multiple organ failure),and 2 were in a vegetative ***:Neuroendoscopy should be used as much as possible in treating intraventricular hemorrhage given its advantages of minimal injury,complete removal of hematoma,high safety,and wide clinical applicability.

接种菌根真菌的旱作水稻-绿豆间作系统养分利用研究

【目的】研究接种AMF对旱作水稻-绿豆间作系统作物生长和养分利用的影响。【方法】利用温室盆钵试验接种AMF,测定AMF的侵染率、作物养分含量、绿豆生物固氮能力和土壤养分变化。【结果】在间作接种条件下,接种菌根菌对绿豆的侵染率达到92.28%,而水稻侵染率仅为14.47%,与单作不接种相比,分别提高了11.95%和4.11%;同时也增加了绿豆和水稻的地上部和地下部氮含量,分别是83.72%和64.83%,53.76%和41.29%;绿豆地上部和地下部铁含量分别增加了223.08%和60.19%;生物量最大增加了288.8%;根瘤个数和根瘤重量也有大幅度的增加。间作接种AMF处理绿豆根瘤的氮、磷和铁的含量,比单作不接种处理分别增加了80.14%、69.54%和139.62%。与单作水稻相比,单作绿豆和水稻与绿豆间作可显著提高土壤氮含量;绿豆单作处理或与水稻间作不接菌根真菌处理土壤磷含量没有显著变化,只有间作接菌处理的土壤磷含量显著降低。【结论】在旱作水稻-绿豆间作系统中接种菌根真菌改善了水稻和绿豆植株体内氮、磷和铁的含量;增加了绿豆根瘤个数及其干重,明显促进了绿豆的生长。

Objective: To summarize the experience of human or-thotopic liver transplantation(OLTx) in treatment ofpatients with end-stage hepatic disease and their peri-operative ***: A retrospective analysis was made on OLTxperformed in 77 patients from April 1993 to September2001 in our department included combined liver-kid-ney transplantation (6 patients) and living related livertransplantation (2). Among them, 76 were adults and1 was infant (67 males and 10 females) . The donors in-cluded 7S non-heart beating donors and 2 living re-lated donors. Veno-venous bypass was used only in 45cases during the operation. Immunosuppressive agentsconsisted of cyclosporine, cellcept, ALG corticosteroidsand ***: The one-year survival rates of grafts and re-cipients with benign hepatic disease were 75%. Therecipients this year are surviving with good function ***: Liver transplantation is the best therapeu-tic method for a large number of patients with end-stage hepatic disease in China.

Background:There is no consensus on whether triplet regimen is better than doublet regimen in the first-line treatment of advanced gastric cancer(AGC).We aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of oxaliplatin plus capecitabine(XELOX)and epirubicin,oxaliplatin,plus capecitabine(EOX)regimens in treating ***:This phase III trial enrolled previously untreated patients with AGC whowere randomly assigned to receive the XELOXor *** primary endpoint was non-inferiority in progression-free survival(PFS)for XELOX as compared with EOX on an intention-to-treat ***:Between April 10,2015 andAugust 20,2020,448AGCpatientswere randomized to receive XELOX(n=222)or EOX(n=226).The median PFS(mPFS)was 5.0 months(95%confidence interval[CI]=4.5-6.0 months)in the XELOX arm and 5.5 months(95%CI=5.0-6.0 months)in the EOX arm(hazard ratio[HR]=0.989,95%CI=0.812-1.203;P_(non-inferiority)=0.003).There was no significant difference inmedian overall survival(mOS)(12.0 vs.12.0months,P=0.384)or objective response rate(37.4%vs.45.1%,P=0.291)between the two *** patients with poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and liver metastasis,the EOX arm had a significantly longer mOS(P=0.021)and a trend of longer mPFS(P=0.073)than the XELOX *** rate of grade 3/4 adverse events(AEs)was 42.2%(90/213)in the XELOX arm and 72.5%(156/215)in the EOX arm(P=0.001).The global health-related quality of life(QoL)score was significantly higher in the XELOX arm than in the EOX arm during ***:This non-inferiority trial demonstrated that the doublet regimen was as effective as the triplet regimen and had a better safety profile and QoL as a first-line treatment for AGC ***,the triplet regimen might have a survival advantage in patients with poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and liver metastasis.

The second(O2)observational campaign of gravitational waves(GWs)organized by the LIGO/Virgo Collaborations has led to several breakthroughs such as the detection of GW signals from merger systems involving black holes or neutrons *** O2,14 GW alerts were sent to the astronomical community with sky regions mostly covering over hundreds of square *** them,six were finally confirmed as real astrophysical *** 2013,a new set of ground-based robotic telescopes called Ground-based Wide Angle Camera system(GWAC)project and its pathfinder mini-GWAC has been developed to contribute to the various challenges of multi-messenger and time domain *** GWAC system is built up in the framework of the ground-segment system of the SVOM mission that will be devoted to the study of the multi-wavelength transient sky in the next *** O2,only the mini-GWAC telescope network was fully *** to the wide field of view and fast automatic follow-up capabilities of the mini-GWAC telescopes,they were adept to efficiently cover the sky localization areas of GW event *** this paper,we present the mini-GWAC pipeline we have set up to respond to GW alerts and we report our optical follow-up observations of eight GW alerts detected during the O2 *** observations provided the largest coverage of the GW localization areas with a short latency made by any optical *** found tens of optical transient candidates in our images,but none of those could be securely associated with any confirmed black hole-black hole merger *** on this first experience and the near future technical improvements of our network system,we will be more competitive in detecting the optical counterparts from some GW events that will be identified during the upcoming O3 run,especially those emerging from binary neutron star mergers.

Disappearance of Superconductivity and a Concomitant Lifshitz Transition in Heavily Overdoped Bi_2Sr_2CuO_6 Superconductor Revealed by Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy

By partially doping Pb to effectively suppress the superstructure in single-layered cuprate Bi_2Sr_2CuO_(6+δ)(Pb-Bi2201) and annealing them in vacuum or in high pressure oxygen atmosphere, a series of high quality Pb-Bi2201 single crystals are obtained with T_c covering from 17 K to non-superconducting in the overdoped region. High resolution angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements are carried out on these samples to investigate the evolution of the Fermi surface topology with doping in the normal state. Clear and complete Fermi surfaces are observed and quantitatively analyzed in all of these overdoped Pb-Bi2201 samples. A Lifshitz transition from holelike Fermi surface to electron-like Fermi surface with increasing doping is observed at a doping level of ~0.35. This transition coincides with the change that the sample undergoes superconducting-to-non-superconducting *** results reveal the emergence of an electron-like Fermi surface and the existence of a Lifshitz transition in heavily overdoped Bi2201 samples. This provides important information in understanding the connection between the disappearance of superconductivity and the Lifshitz transition in the overdoped region.
