Because of the potential application of the phononic crystals(PCs)(noise reduction, acoustic filtering and waveguiding,etc) and with the in-depth development of this field,the topological optimization and inverse design of PC structures have provoked certain degree of interests within the community in recent *** the present work,we carry out the band gap optimization of the two-dimensional(2D) solid binary-component *** finite element method(FEM) and the genetic algorithm(GA) are used as the forward calculation method and optimization scheme, *** forward FEM calculation of the band structures is accomplished by the standard software *** the calculation,the parameter modeling is realized by modifying the input file and running the scriptlet;and we choose iterative method Lanzcos for to calculate the eigenfrequencies corresponding to each of the selected Bloch wave ***,with the scriptlet of Abaqus,the considered 2D PC is extracted from the obtained band *** the GA optimization sheme,we encode the materials distribution by dividing the unit cell into N×N elements;then the genetic operators(selection,crossover andmutation are applied to create children replacing their parent in the next *** generation after another is created in such a manner until a convergence criterion is *** elitist selection scheme is applied in the *** the best one of the new generation is not more excellent than that of the parent generation,the latter one will replace a chromosome of the new generation *** last,the materials distribution parameters of chromosome are transferred to Abaqus by using the Python language which can call the Abaqus kernel to make pretreatment and post-processing. Since the 1990s,there has been a great deal of work devoted to the study of phononic crystals(PCs).The existence of a phononic band gap(PBG) where the propagation of the acoustic or elastic waves is forbidden leads to many engineering *** the PBG tuning mechanism is always an important aspect of the theoretical studies of PCs. In this paper,we study the effects of the Poisson's ratios on the PBGs in two-dimensional(2D) solid-solid square-latticed *** to the theoretical importance and practical application of the auxetic material,the effect of negative Poisson's ratio is also considered in the present work. For the in-plane wave mode,the material parameters determining PBGs include the velocity ratio,the acoustic impedance ratio and the Poisson's ratios of the two component materials[1].We investigate the influences of the Poisson's ratio on 2D square-latticed PCs with given values of the velocity ratio and acoustic impedance *** different combinations of the velocity ratio and acoustic impedance ratio correspond to the large impedance ratio with small mismatch in the transverse wave velocities,small velocity ratio with small mismatch in the acoustic impedances and small impedance ratio with small mismatch in the wave *** PBGs between the 2nd and 3rd,3rd and 4th bands are *** are usually the first or second PBGs. For the PCs with large impedance ratio and small mismatch in the wave velocities,the PBG is influenced slightly by the Poisson's ratio of the host,but significantly by that of the inclusion when its value is *** the PCs with small velocity ratio and small mismatch in the acoustic impedances,the PBGs between the 3rd and 4th bands are sensitive to the Poisson's ratios of both the host and inclusion;those between the 2nd and 3rd bands are influenced significantly by the Poisson's ratio of the inclusion and become wider as the Poisson's ratio of the inclusion *** the PCs with small impedance rati

Shock Formation for 2D Isentropic Euler Equations with Self-similar Variables

The author studies the 2D isentropic Euler equations with the ideal gas *** exhibits a set of smooth initial data that give rise to shock formation at a single point near the planar *** solutions to the 2D isentropic Euler equations are associated with non-zero vorticity at the shock and have uniform-in-time-1/3-Holder ***,these point shocks are of self-similar type and share the same profile,which is a solution to the 2D self-similar Burgers *** proof of the solutions,following the 3D construction of Buckmaster,Shkoller and Vicol(in 2023),is based on the stable 2D self-similar Burgers profile and the modulation method.

Design and pricing of maintenance service contract based on Nash non-cooperative game approach

Nowadays manufacturers are facing fierce *** from the products,providing customers with multiple maintenance options in the service contract becomes more popular,since it can help to improve customer satisfaction,and ultimately promote sales and maximize profit for the *** considering the combinations of corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance,totally three types of maintenance service contracts are ***,attractive incentive and penalty mechanisms are adopted in the *** this basis,Nash non-cooperative game is applied to analyze the revenue for both the manufacturer and customers,and so as to optimize the pricing mechanism of maintenance service contract and achieve a win-win *** experiments are *** results show that by taking into account the incentive and penalty mechanisms,the revenue can be improved for both the customers and ***,with the increase of repair rate and improvement factor in the preventive maintenance,the revenue will increase gradually for both the parties.

The solid-liquid viscous system formed by high viscosity crystallization solution impacts the flow and separation ***,it is very important to study the viscosity mechanism to improve viscosity and regulate crystallization,ensuring a seamless production ***,the viscosity of crystallization solution was taken as the measurement parameter of caffeine as a model *** investigated the viscosity mechanism of caffeine crystallization solutions by combining experiment and *** results indicated that the weak interactions between caffeine and water result in increased viscosity of the caffeine crystallization ***,caffeine crystals possess elongated needle-like shapes,featuring a substantial specific surface ***,there isπ-πstacking occurring between the(200)crystal face and(110)crystal face,effectively fostering coalescence of the crystals towards the radial side of the crystal along its elongated axis,resulting in a more viscous crystallization *** results contribute to comprehending the viscosity mechanism of crystal systems and provide theoretical foundation to enhance engineering efficiency in crystallization.

A Time-Domain Numerical Simulation for Free Motion Responses of Two Ships Advancing in Head Waves

Numerical simulation of microwave-induced cracking and melting of granite based on mineral microscopic models

This study introduces a coupled electromagnetic–thermal–mechanical model to reveal the mechanisms of microcracking and mineral melting of polymineralic rocks under microwave *** tests validate the rationality of the proposed *** microscopic mineral sections into the granite model for simulation shows that uneven temperature gradients create distinct molten,porous,and nonmolten zones on the fracture ***,the varying thermal expansion coefficients and Young's moduli among the minerals induce significant thermal stress at the mineral *** and biotite with higher thermal expansion coefficients are subjected to compression,whereas plagioclase with smaller coefficients experiences tensile *** the molten zone,quartz undergoes transgranular cracking due to theα–βphase *** local high temperatures also induce melting phase transitions in biotite and *** numerical study provides new insights into the distribution of thermal stress and mineral phase changes in rocks under microwave irradiation.

Hybrid Block Diagonalization Precoding for Multi-User Weighted sum-Rate Maximization
