lignin is a typical biological macromolecule with a three-dimensional network structure and abundant functional groups. It has excellent ionic complexation ability and amphiphilic molecular structure *** this study, the carbon steel anticorrosion performance of sodium lignosulfonate(SLS) in an acid solution was evaluated using the weight loss method, electrochemical measurements, scanning vibration electrode technique(SVET), and surface characterization methods. SLS exhibited excellent corrosion inhibition efficiency for Q235carbon steel in 1 mol·L^(-1) hCl, reaching a maximum value of 98%. A low SLS concentration of 20 mg·L^(-1) resulted in the maximum corrosion inhibition efficiency, which remained nearly constant at higher SLS *** SVET test demonstrated that the formation of an SLS adsorption film can impede corrosion. This study confirms the significance of the application of green biomass resources in the field of metal corrosion protection and green functional materials.

Energy metabolism is fundamental for *** encompasses the utilization of carbohydrates,lipids,and proteins for internal processes,while aberrant energy metabolism is implicated in many *** the present study,using three-dimensional(3D)printing from polycarbonate via fused deposition modeling,we propose a multi-nuclear radiofrequency(RF)coil design with integrated 1h birdcage and interchangeable x-nuclei(^(2)h,^(13)C,^(23)Na,and^(31)P)single-loop coils for magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)/magnetic resonance spectroscopy(MRS).The single-loop coil for each nucleus attaches to an arc bracket that slides unrestrictedly along the birdcage coil inner surface,enabling convenient switching among various nuclei and animal *** to a commercial 1h birdcage coil,the proposed 1h birdcage coil exhibited superior signal-excitation homogeneity and imaging signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).For x-nuclei study,prominent peaks in spectroscopy for phantom solutions showed excellent SNR,and the static and dynamic peaks of in vivo spectroscopy validated the efficacy of the coil design in structural imaging and energy metabolism detection simultaneously.

The Tibetan Plateau(TP)and the Arctic are the most sensitive regions to global climate ***,the interdecadal varibility of winter extreme precipitation over the TP and its linkage with Arctic sea ice are still *** this study,the characteristics and mechisnems of the TP extreme precipitation(TPEP)influenced by Arctic sea ice on interdecadal timescale are studied based on the daily precipitation,monthly sea ice concentration and ERA5 reanalysis data from 1980 to *** found that the dominant mode of the TPEP in winter mostly exhibits a uniform spatial variation on the interdecadal timescale,with an opposite weak variation in the southeastern TP,and the Arctic sea ice concentration(SIC)before 2002 are larger than that after *** interdecadal variation of TPEP is affected by two teleconnection wave trains regulated by the Barents and Kara Sea *** the light ice years,a remarkable positive geopotential height(hGT)anomaly appears over the Barents-Kara Sea and a remarkable negative hGT anomaly is located over the Lake *** wave trains originating over the Barents-Kara Sea can be *** southern branch forms a wave train through the North Atlantic along the subtropical westerly jet stream,showing a‘+-+-+'pattern of hGT anomalies from Arctic to the *** hGT anomaly controls the western TP,which creates dynamic and water vapor conditions for the *** northern branch forms a wave train through the Lake Baikal and the southeast of the TP,showing a‘+-+'hGT anomaly *** hGT anomaly controls the southeastern TP,which is not conducive to precipitation in the *** the SIC in the Barents-Kara Sea increases,the situation is *** above analysis also reveals the reason for the difference in the east-west distribution of the TPEP.

Electrified non-thermal plasma (NTP) catalytic hydrogenation is the promising alternative to the thermal counterparts, being able to be operated under mild conditions and compatible with green electricity/hydrogen. Rational design of the catalysts for such NTP-catalytic systems is one of the keys to improve the process efficiency. here, we present the development of siliceous mesocellular foam (MCF) supported Cu catalysts for NTP-catalytic CO_(2) hydrogenation to methanol. The findings show that the pristine MCF support with high specific surface area and large mesopore of 784 m2·g−1 and ~8.5 nm could promote the plasma discharging and the diffusion of species through its framework, outperforming other control porous materials (viz., silicalite-1, SiO_(2), and SBA-15). Compared to the NTP system employing the bare MCF, the inclusion of Cu and Zn in MCF (i.e., Cu1Zn1/MCF) promoted the methanol formation of the NTP-catalytic system with a higher space-time yield of methanol at ~275 μmol·g_(cat)^(−1)·h^(−1) and a lower energy consumption of 26.4 kj^(−1)·mmol_(Ch_(3)Oh)^(-1) (conversely, ~225 μmol·g_(cat)^(−1)·h^(−1) and ~71 kj−1·mmol_(Ch_(3)Oh)^(-1), respectively, for the bare MCF system at 10.1 kV). The findings suggest that inclusion of active metal sites (especially Zn species) could stabilize the CO_(2)/CO-related intermediates to facilitate the surface reaction toward methanol formation.

Retroperitoneal liposarcoma(RLPS)is the main subtype of retroperitoneal soft sarcoma(RSTS)and has a poor prognosis and few treatment options,except for *** proteomic and metabolic profiles of RLPS have remained *** aim of our study was to reveal the metabolic profile of ***,we performed proteomic analysis(n=10),metabolomic analysis(n=51),and lipidomic analysis(n=50)of retroperitoneal dedifferentiated liposarcoma(RDDLPS)and retroperitoneal well-differentiated liposarcoma(RWDLPS)tissue and paired adjacent adipose tissue obtained during *** analysis mainly revealed that glycolysis,purine metabolism,pyrimidine metabolism and phospholipid formation were upregulated in both RDDLPS and RWDLPS tissue compared with the adjacent adipose tissue,whereas the tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle,lipid absorption and synthesis,fatty acid degradation and biosynthesis,as well as glycine,serine,and threonine metabolism were *** particular importance,the glycolytic inhibitor 2-deoxy-D-glucose and pentose phosphate pathway(PPP)inhibitor RRx-001 significantly promoted the antitumor effects of the MDM2 inhibitor RG7112 and CDK4 inhibitor *** study not only describes the metabolic profiles of RDDLPS and RWDLPS,but also offers potential therapeutic targets and strategies for RLPS.

The interfacial microstructures and configurations directly affect the comprehensive properties of the composites,but their interfacial adhesion mechanism is complicated to expound by experimental *** this work,based on the stacking sequence of the Mg/Mg_(2)Y interface models,nine different Mg/Mg_(2)Y interface configurations with top site,bridge site,and hollow site(hCP)under Mg1,Mg_(2),and Y terminations were successfully constructed and systematically explored by first-principles *** results showed that the Mg_(2)Y(0001)surface with Y termination is the most stable when the yttrium chemical potential()is less than-1.09 eV;otherwise,Mg_(2)Y(0001)surface with Mg1 termination is the most *** seven-layer Mg(0001)and eleven-layer Mg_(2)Y(0001)slabs are employed to reflect the bulk-like interior ***,the Mg(0001)/Mg_(2)Y(0001)with the Y-hCP stacking has the largest interface thermodynamic stability with the value of 2.383 j/m^(2) in all interface configurations owing to its largest work of *** addition,the interfacial energy of Y-hCP stacking is significantly smaller than those of Mg1-hCP when is approximately less than-0.55 eV,showing that it is more *** thermodynamic stability of Mg/Mg_(2)Y with Y-hCP is due to Mg-Y chemical bonds formed between Mg and Y ***,the Mg/Mg_(2)Y interfaces are strong interfaces based on the Griffith fracture theory.
