Lymphoepithelioma-like hepatocellular carcinoma(LELHCC)is a very rare neoplasm,with distinct epidemiologic,morphologic and clinical *** mechanistic insight into the pathogenesis of this carcinoma suggests a pivotal role for the host immune system in the proliferation and progression of this ***,while detailed genomic profiling of these hepatic tumors have revealed an intra-tumoral inflammatory mutational signature that may predispose to immune checkpoint inhibitor efficacy,no published report has described their use in this tumor ***,with near 100 cases of LEL-HCC reported in the literature to date and the majority of cases confined to localized and resectable disease,current evidencebased practices in the unresectable setting are lacking,with unknown benefit of chemotherapy or *** report on the case of a 68 year-old man with unresectable,advanced LEL-HCC who had evidence of disease stability after starting on the immune checkpoint inhibitor *** disease response persisted off therapy for over a year and was potentially augmented by radiotherapy at the site of local *** this extremely rare tumor subtype,this case highlights the potential efficacy and safety of immune checkpoint blockade in LEL-HCC and reinforces the need for more robust,large-scale analysis of patients with these rare tumors to better evaluate treatment strategies and outcomes.

In this expository article, the authors discuss the connection between the study of non-local operators on Euclidean space to the study of fractional GJMS operators in conformal geometry. The emphasis is on the study of a class of fourth order operators and their third order boundary operators. These third order operators are generalizations of the Dirichlet-to-Neumann operator.

Molten salts play multiple important roles in the electrolysis of solid metal compounds,particularly oxides and sulfides,for the extraction of metals or *** of these roles are positive in assisting the extraction of metals,such as dissolving the oxide or sulfide anions,and transporting them to the anode for discharging,and offering the high temperature to lower the kinetic barrier to break the metal-oxygen or metal-sulfur ***,molten salts also have unfavorable effects,including electronic conductivity and significant capability of dissolving oxygen and carbon dioxide *** addition,although molten salts are relatively simple in terms of composition,physical properties,and decomposition reactions at inert electrodes,in comparison with aqueous electrolytes,the high temperatures of molten salts may promote unwanted electrode-electrolyte *** article reviews briefly and selectively the research and development of the F ray-F arthing-Chen(FFC)Cambridge Process in the past two decades,focusing on observations,understanding,and solutions of various interactions between molten salts and cathodes at different reduction states,including perovskitization,non-wetting of molten salts on pure metals,carbon contamination of products,formation of oxychlorides and calcium intermetallic compounds,and oxygen transfer from the air to the cathode product mediated by oxide anions in the molten salt.

The waste gas evolved from biodegradation of animal urine contains ammonia causing environmental concerns. A new and effective method for removing ammonia from such waste gas using reactive adsorption is presented. In the process, activated carbon impregnated with H2SO4（H2SO4/C） is employed. Ammonia in the waste gas reacts with H2SO4 on the adsorbent instantaneously and completely to form （NIL）2SO4. The H2SO4/C adsorbent is high in NH3 adsorption capacity and regenerable. The NH3 removal capacity of this regenerable adsorbent is more than 30 times that of the adsorbents used normally in the industry. The spent H2SO4/C is regenerated by flowing low-pressure steam through the adsorbent bed to remove the （NH4）2SO4 from the adsorbent. The regeneration by-product is concentrated （NH4）2SO4 solution, which is a perfect liquid fertilizer for local use. Re-soaking the activated carbon with H2SO4 solution rejuvenates the activity of the adsorbent. Thus the H2SOJC can be reused repeatedly. In the mechanism of this reactive adsorption process, trace of H20 in the waste gas is a required, which lends itself to treating ammonia gas saturated with moisture from biodegradation of animal urine.

The thermodynamics and the properties of the cerium carbide Fe4 Ce4 C7 in steel have been studied by means of metallography, electron microprobe, X-ray diffraction technique and electrolytic separation. The main results obtained can be summarized as follows: The cerium carbide CeC2 can be precipitated in cast steel and distributed along the grain boundaries. Heat treating the steel as austenite, the CeC2 transformed into ternary compound Fe4Ce4 C7, its thermodynamics of formation in steel being expressed as: ac exp(6400/T-6. 28), where 1015Kzed light, opaque in dark field and a little greyer than iron matrix in bright field. Its Vickers hardness is about 420kg/mm2 (annealed) and 750kg/mm2 (quenched). This phase in steel is stable in basic and organic solutions and can be seperated from the matrix by electrolysis. Moreover, the LaC2 in steel can not be transformed into Fe-La-C ternary compound in present investigation.

Thin film p-side up vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers(VCSELs)with 940 nm wavelength on a composite metal(Copper/Invar/Copper;CIC)substrate has been demonstrated by twice-bonding transfer and substrate removing *** CIC substrate is a sandwich structure with a 10µm thick Copper(Cu)layer/30µm thick Invar layer/10µm thick Cu *** Invar layer was composed of Iron(Fe)and Nickel(Ni)with a proportion of 70:*** thermal expansion coefcient of the composite CIC metal can match that of the GaAs *** results that the VCSEL layers can be successfully transferred to CIC metal substrate without *** 1 mA current,the top-emitting VCSEL/GaAs and thin-flm VCSEL/CIC had a voltage of 1.39 and 1.37 V,*** optical output powers of VCSEL/GaAs and VCSEL/CIC were 21.91 and 24.40 mW,*** 50µm thick CIC substrate can play a good heat dissipation function,which results in improving the electrical and optical characteristics of thin flm VCSELs/*** VCSEL/CIC exhibited a superior thermal management capability as compared with VCSEL/*** obtained data suggested that VCSELs on a composite metal substrate not only afected signifcantly the characteristics of thin film VCSEL,but also improved considerably the device thermal performance.

A NiP/TiO2 composite film on carbon steel was prepared by electroless plating and sol-gel composite process. An artificial neural network was applied to optimize the prepared condition of the composite film. Corrosion behavior of the NiP/TiO2 composite film was investigated by polarization resistance measurement, anode polarization, ESEM （environmental scanning electron microscopy） and EIS （electrochemical impedance spectroscopy） measurements. Results showed that the NiP/ TiO2 composite film has a good corrosion resistance in 0.5mol/L H2SO4 solution. The element valence of the composite film was characterized by XPS （X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy） spectrum, and an anticorrosion mechanism of the composite film was discussed.
