Thermo-kinetic characteristics on stabilizing hetero-phase interface of metal matrix composites by crystal plasticity finite element method

Using dislocation-based constitutive modeling in three-dimension crystal plasticity finite element(3D CPFE)simulations,co-deformation and instability of hetero-phase interface in different material systems were herein studied for polycrystalline metal matrix composites(MMCs).Local stress and strain fields in two types of 3layer MMCs such as fcc/fcc Cu-Ag and fcc/bcc Cu-Nb have been predicted under simple compressive ***,more severe strain-induced interface instability can be observed in the fcc/bcc systems than in the fcc/fcc systems upon refining to metallic nanolayered composites(MNCs).by detailed analysis of stress and strain localization,it has been demonstrated that the interface instability is always accompanied by high-stress concentration,i.e.,thermodynamic characteristics,or high strain prevention i.e.,kinetic characteristics,at the hetero-phase *** then follows that the thermodynamic driving forceG and the kinetic energy barrier Q during dislocation and shear banding can be adopted to classify the deformation modes,following the so-called thermo-kinetic *** by inserting a high density of high-energy interfaces into the Cu-Nb composites,such thermo-kinetic integration at the hetero-phase interface allows a successful establishment of MMCs with the high△G-high Q deformation mode,which ensures high hardening and uniform strain distri-bution,thus efficiently suppressing the shear band,stabilizing the hetero-phase interface,and obtaining an exceptional combination in strength and *** hetero-phase interface chosen by a couple of thermodynamics and kinetics can be defined as breaking the thermo-kinetic correlation and has been proposed for artificially designing MNCs.

The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mobile fin with a magnetism in the presence of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is carried out. Three types of nanoparticles, each having a different shape, are considered. These shapes include spherical(Fe_3O_4), cylindrical(Au), and platelet(Zn) configurations. The combination approach is utilized to evaluate the physical and thermal characteristics of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids, excluding the thermal conductivity and dynamic viscosity. These two properties are inferred by means of the interpolation method based on the volume fraction of nanoparticles. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian decomposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTM) is adopted to solve the conundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained results agree well with those numerical simulation results, indicating that this research is reliable. The influence of diverse factors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphical representations. Furthermore, the fluctuations in the heat transfer concerning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presence of the combination of spherical, cylindrical, and platelet nanoparticles is higher than that in the presence of the combination of only spherical and cylindrical nanoparticles. The temperature at the fin tip increases by 0.705 759% when the value of the Peclet number increases by 400%, while decreases by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman number increases by 400%.

The COVID-19 pandemic,caused by SARS-CoV-2,disproportionately affected certain segments of society,particularly the elderly population(which suffered the brunt of the burden of the pandemic in terms of severity of the disease,hospitalization,and death).This study presents a generalized multigroup model,with m heterogeneous sub-populations,to assess the population-level impact of age heterogeneity and vaccination on the transmission dynamics and control of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in the United *** analysis of the model for the homogeneous case(i.e.,the model with m=1)reveal that its disease-free equilibrium is globally-asymptotically stable for two special cases(with perfect vaccine efficacy or negligible disease-induced mortality)whenever the associated reproduction number is less than *** model has a unique and globally-asymptotically stable endemic equilibrium,for special a case,when the associated reproduction threshold exceeds *** homogeneous model was fitted using the observed cumulative mortality data for the United States during three distinct waves(Waves A(October 17,2020 to April 5,2021),b(July 9,2021 to November 7,2021)and C(January 1,2022 to May 7,2022))chosen to align with time periods when the Alpha,Delta and Omicron were,respectively,the predominant variants in the United *** calibrated model was used to derive a theoretical expression for achieving vaccine-derived herd immunity(needed to eliminate the disease in the United States).It was shown that,using the one-group homogeneous model,vaccine-derived herd immunity is not attainable during Wave C of the pandemic in the United States,regardless of the coverage level of the fully-vaccinated *** sensitivity analysis was carried out to determine the parameters of the model that have the most influence on the disease dynamics and *** analyses reveal that control and mitigation strategies that may be very effective during one wave may not be so very effecti

Urotensin-I(UI)is a peptide belonging to the corticotropin-releasing hormone family,produced in the urophysis of *** investigation was undertaken to examine the effect of UI on the hypothalamo-hypophyseal-ovarian axis in the Mozambique tilapia,a cichlid *** the first experiment,administration of UI(2μg/100μL saline)for 22 days caused a significant reduction in the number of follicles at stages I,II,III(previtellogenic),IV(vitellogenic),and V(preovulatory),concomitant with a significant increase in the percent atresia of follicles at stages II,III,and IV than in *** the pituitary,gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH)-positive fibres were detected in the proximal pars distalis(PPD)in both controls and UI-treated fish;however,there was a significant reduction in the intensity and percent area of GnRH-immunoreactive fibres in fish treated with UI compared with *** serum luteinizing hormone(LH)level was significantly lower,whereas a significant rise in the serum level of cortisol was noticed in UI-treated fish compared with *** the second experiment,treatment with a low dose of UI(10 mM)did not affect the number of ACTH-secreting cells in vitro,but the number of these cells was significantly higher in high-dose UI(50 mM)-treated pituitaries compared to ***,the present investigation reveals for the first time that the treatment of UI affects the follicular development process through the downregulation of the GnRH-LH axis and activation of the pituitary-interrenal pathway in teleosts.
