Several studies have confirmed that the health status of the paternal affects the health of the offspring,however,it remains unknown whether paternal exposure to pesticides affect the offspring health.Here,we used untargeted metabolomics and 16S rRNA sequencing technology,combined with tail suspension test and RT-qPCR to explore the effects of paternal exposure to nitenpyram on the neurotoxicity of offspring.Our results found that the paternal exposure to nitenpyram led to the offspring’s depressive-like behaviors,accompanied by the reduction of tryptophan content and the disorder of microbial abundance in the gut of the offspring.Further,we determined the expression of tryptophan metabolism-related genes tryptophanase(tnaA)and tryptophan hydroxylase 1(TpH1)in gut bacteria and colonic tissues.We found that tryptophan is metabolized to indoles rather than being absorbed into colonocytes,which coursed the reduce of tryptophan availability after nitenpyram exposure.In conclusion,our study deepens our understanding of the intergenerational toxic effects of pesticides.

Multi-modal knowledge graph inference via media convergence and logic rule

Media convergence works by processing information from different modalities and applying them to different domains.It is difficult for the conventional knowledge graph to utilise multi-media features because the introduction of a large amount of information from other modalities reduces the effectiveness of representation learning and makes knowledge graph inference less effective.To address the issue,an inference method based on Media Convergence and Rule-guided Joint Inference model(MCRJI)has been pro-posed.The authors not only converge multi-media features of entities but also introduce logic rules to improve the accuracy and interpretability of link prediction.First,a multi-headed self-attention approach is used to obtain the attention of different media features of entities during semantic synthesis.Second,logic rules of different lengths are mined from knowledge graph to learn new entity representations.Finally,knowledge graph inference is performed based on representing entities that converge multi-media features.Numerous experimental results show that MCRJI outperforms other advanced baselines in using multi-media features and knowledge graph inference,demonstrating that MCRJI provides an excellent approach for knowledge graph inference with converged multi-media features.

The phytohormone salicylic acid(SA)regulates biotic and abiotic stress responses in plants.Two distinct biosynthetic pathways for SA have been well documented in plants:the isochorismate(IC)pathway in the chloroplast and the phenylalanine ammonia-lyase(PAL)pathway in the cytosol.However,there has been no solid evidence that the PAL pathway contributes to SA biosynthesis.Here,we report that feeding Arabidopsis thaliana with Ring-13C-labeled phenylalanine(13C6-Phe)resulted in incorporation of the13C label not into SA,but into its isomer 4-hydroxybenzoic acid(4-HBA)instead.We obtained similar results when feeding13C6-Phe to the SA-deficient ics1 ics2 mutant and the SA-hyperaccumulating mutant s3h s5h.Notably,we detected13C6-SA when13C6-benzoic acid(BA)was provided,suggesting that SA can be synthesized from BA.Furthermore,despite the substantial accumulation of SA upon pathogen infection,we did not observe incorporation of13C label from Phe into SA.We also did not detect13C6-SA in PAL-overexpressing lines in the kfb01 kfb02 kfb39 kfb50 background after being fed13C6-Phe,although endogenous PAL levels were dramatically increased.Based on these combined results,we propose that SA biosynthesis is not from Phe in Arabidopsis.These results have important implications for our understanding of the SA biosynthetic pathway in land plants.

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have been proven to be a promising option for photovoltaic conversion.With the aim to achieve efficient and stable PSCs,it is essential to explore dopant-free hole-transporting materials(HTMs)with high hole mobility.Herein,HTMs bearing electron donor(D)-electron acceptor(A)-electron donor(D)structures have been constructed with strong intramolecular charge transfer(ICT)effect,based on rational combination of dibenzo[a,c]phenazine and pyridine as electronic acceptors and anchoring groups to perovskite layer.Accordingly,high hole mobility(7.31×10^(-5) cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1))and photoelectric conversion efficiency(20.45%)have been achieved by dopant-free DPyP-based PSC.It afforded an efficient way to design HTMs with high hole mobility by adjustment of molecular configurations and electronic property of conjugated systems.

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) and hybrid capacitors(SIHCs) have garnered significant attention in energy storage due to their inherent advantages,including high energy density,cost-effectiveness,and enhanced safety.However,developing high-performance anode materials to improve sodium storage performa nce still remains a major challenge.Here,a facile one-pot method has been developed to fabricate a hybrid of MoSeTe nanosheets implanted within the N,F co-doped honeycomb carbon skeleton(MoSeTe/N,F@C).Experimental results demonstrate that the incorporation of large-sized Te atoms into MoSeTe nanosheets enlarges the layer spacing and creates abundant anion vacancies,which effectively facilitate the insertion/extraction of Na^(+) and provide numerous ion adsorption sites for rapid surface capacitive behavior.Additionally,the heteroatoms N,F co-doped honeycomb carbon skeleton with a highly conductive network can restrain the volume expansion and boost reaction kinetics within the electrode.As anticipated,the MoSeTe/N,F@C anode exhibits high reversible capacities along with exceptional cycle stability.When coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)@C(NVPF@C) to form SIB full cells,the anode delivers a reversible specific capacity of 126 mA h g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1).Furthermore,when combined with AC to form SIHC full cells,the anode demonstrates excellent cycling stability with a reversible specific capacity of50 mA h g^(-1) keeping over 3700 cycles at 1.0 A g^(-1).In situ XRD,ex situ TEM characterization,and theoretical calculations(DFT) further confirm the reversibility of sodium storage in MoSeTe/N,F@C anode materials during electrochemical reactions,highlighting their potential for widespread practical application.This work provides new insights into the promising utilization of advanced transition metal dichalcogenides as anode materials for Na^(+)-based energy storage devices.

Paper-based biosensors based on multiple recognition modes for visual detection of microbially contaminated food

Microbially contaminated food can cause serious health hazards and economic losses,therefore sensitive,rapid,and highly specific visual detection is called for.Traditional detection of microorganisms is complex and time-consuming,which cannot meet current testing demands.The emergence of paper-based biosensors provided an effective method for efficient and visual detection of microorganisms,due to its high speed,all-in-one device,low cost,and convenience.This review focused on 5 biomarkers,namely nucleic acids,proteins,lipopolysaccharides.metabolites,and the whole microorganism of microorganisms.Besides,the recognition methods were summed up in 5 forms,including immunological recognition,aptamer recognition,nucleic acid amplification-mediated recognition.DNAzyme recognition and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats mediated recognition.In addition,we summarized the applications of paper-based biosensors in the detection of microorganisms thoroughly.Through the exploration of different biomarkers,identification methods,and applications,we hope to provide a reference for the development of paper-based biosensors and their application in safeguarding the food chain.

Glycosylation by uridine diphosphate-dependent glycosyltransferases(UGTs)in plants contributes to the complexity and diversity of secondary metabolites.UGTs are generally promiscuous in their use of acceptors,making it challenging to reveal the function of UGTs in vivo.Here,we described an approach that combined glycoside-specific metabolomics and precursor isotopic labeling analysis to characterize UGTs in Arabidopsis.We revisited the UGT72E cluster,which has been reported to catalyze the glycosylation of monolignols.Glycoside-specific metabolomics analysis reduced the number of differentially accumulated metabolites in the ugt72e1e2e3 mutant by at least 90%compared with that from traditional untargeted metabolomics analysis.In addition to the two previously reported monolignol glycosides,a total of 62 glycosides showed reduced accumulation in the ugt72e1e2e3 mutant,22 of which were phenylalanine-derived glycosides,including 5-OH coniferyl alcohol-derived and lignan-derived glycosides,as confirmed by isotopic tracing of[^(13)C_(6)]-phenylalanine precursor.Our method revealed that UGT72Es could use coumarins as substrates,and genetic evidence showed that UGT72Es endowed plants with enhanced tolerance to low iron availability under alkaline conditions.Using the newly developed method,the function of UGT78D2 was also evaluated.These case studies suggest that this method can substantially contribute to the characterization of UGTs and efficiently investigate glycosylation processes,the complexity of which have been highly underestimated.

Real-time Rescue Target Detection Based on UAV Imagery for Flood Emergency Response

Timely acquisition of rescue target information is critical for emergency response after a flood disaster.Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)equipped with remote sensing capabilities offer distinct advantages,including high-resolution imagery and exceptional mobility,making them well suited for monitoring flood extent and identifying rescue targets during floods.However,there are some challenges in interpreting rescue information in real time from flood images captured by UAVs,such as the complexity of the scenarios of UAV images,the lack of flood rescue target detection datasets and the limited real-time processing capabilities of the airborne on-board platform.Thus,we propose a real-time rescue target detection method for UAVs that is capable of efficiently delineating flood extent and identifying rescue targets(i.e.,pedestrians and vehicles trapped by floods).The proposed method achieves real-time rescue information extraction for UAV platforms by lightweight processing and fusion of flood extent extraction model and target detection model.The flood inundation range is extracted by the proposed method in real time and detects targets such as people and vehicles to be rescued based on this layer.Our experimental results demonstrate that the Intersection over Union(IoU)for flood water extraction reaches an impressive 80%,and the IoU for real-time flood water extraction stands at a commendable 76.4%.The information on flood stricken targets extracted by this method in real time can be used for flood emergency rescue.

Perovskite solar cell has gained widespread attention as a promising technology for renewable energy.However, their commercial viability has been hampered by their long-term stability and potential Pb leakage. Herein, we demonstrate a bifunctional passivator of the potassium tartrate(PT) to address both challenges. PT minimizes the Pb leakage in perovskites and also heals cationic vacancy defects, resulting in improved device performance and stability. Benefiting from PT modification, the power conversion efficiency(PCE) is improved to 23.26% and the Pb leakage in unencapsulated films is significantly reduced to 9.79 ppm. Furthermore, the corresponding device exhibits no significant decay in PCE after tracking at the maximum power point(MPP) for 2000 h under illumination(LED source, 100 mW cm^(-2)).

Multi-objective Trajectory Planning Method based on the Improved Elitist Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm

Robot manipulators perform a point-point task under kinematic and dynamic constraints.Due to multi-degreeof-freedom coupling characteristics,it is difficult to find a better desired trajectory.In this paper,a multi-objective trajectory planning approach based on an improved elitist non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm(INSGA-II)is proposed.Trajectory function is planned with a new composite polynomial that by combining of quintic polynomials with cubic Bezier curves.Then,an INSGA-II,by introducing three genetic operators:ranking group selection(RGS),direction-based crossover(DBX)and adaptive precision-controllable mutation(APCM),is developed to optimize travelling time and torque fluctuation.Inverted generational distance,hypervolume and optimizer overhead are selected to evaluate the convergence,diversity and computational effort of algorithms.The optimal solution is determined via fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to obtain the optimal trajectory.Taking a serial-parallel hybrid manipulator as instance,the velocity and acceleration profiles obtained using this composite polynomial are compared with those obtained using a quintic B-spline method.The effectiveness and practicability of the proposed method are verified by simulation results.This research proposes a trajectory optimization method which can offer a better solution with efficiency and stability for a point-to-point task of robot manipulators.
