Effect of VEGF/GREDVY Modified Surface on Vascular Cells Behavior

We synthesized B-He/B-GREDVY and immobilized them on avidin-coated *** examine the immobilization of molecules in the material, the following experiments were performed:fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC) fluorescence staining, water contact angle and atomic force microscopy(AFM) measurements. Besides, the biological evaluation experiments were also performed, such as platelets adhesion and activation, the culturing of smooth muscle cells(SMC) and endothelial cells(EC). These experimental results show that the modified surfaces could prevent the hyperproliferation of SMC, and promote the proliferation and migration of EC and EPC. Furthermore, the adding of VEGF improved the EC adhesion in a dynamic environment. Generally, it is expected that the modified surfaces could be used to accelerate the formation of the newly endothelial layer for the construction of platforms for coronary artery stent therapy.

Molten salt-based nanofluids exhibit more efficient heat storage and transfer performance than the same pure base molten salt（BS）.In this work,nanofluids were prepared by dispersing nano-MgO in chloride BS（NaCl:CaCl2:MgCl2=53:15:32,mole fraction） to improve its thermophysical properties,and the improvement mechanism was explored by molecular dynamics（MD） *** all the nanofluids,the nanofluid doped with 2.5%（mass fraction） 20-nm MgO has the best thermal property,with its specific heat capacity cpincreased by 38.2%.After heating at 600℃ for 1000 hours,the heat storage performance of the nanocomposite samples did not *** analysis of microstructures by MD shows that there exists a semi-solid liquid layer at the interface between nano-MgO and the molten salt due to the strong interactions between nanoparticles and molten *** contributes to enhancing the thermal storage capacity of *** number density and specific heat capacity both decrease as particle size *** the experimental and simulation result analysis,the possible mechanism of enhancing the specific heat capacity of nanofluids is *** nanofluid prepared in this work can serve as potential heat storage/transfer materials in concentrating solar power systems,and the heat storage/transfer mechanism proposed in this work is also helpful for understanding the thermophysical properties of other molten salt nanofluids.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is characterized by both inter-and intra-tumor heterogeneity and has distinct clinical outcomes.1 A promising clinical tool to perform patient stratification,prognosis evaluation,and treatment recommendations is ***,we enrolled a total of 1595 tumor patients from 13 independent cohorts,including seven cohorts with survival data,four cohorts with immunotherapy information,and two cohorts with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)and Sorafenib information,respectively(Table S1).Using 96 algorithms combinations derived from 10 popular machinelearning approaches,a novel framework was constructed and described in Figure ***,a total of 26 stable consensus prognostic genes were screened in seven cohorts harboring complete survival information via univariate Cox regression analysis(Fig.S2A).

This study introduces a novel method integrating CO_(2)flooding with radial borehole fracturing for enhanced oil recovery and CO_(2)underground storage,a solution to the limited vertical stimulation reservoir volume in horizontal well fracturing.A numerical model is established to investigate the production rate,reservoir pressure field,and CO_(2)saturation distribution corresponding to changing time of CO_(2)flooding with radial borehole fracturing.A sensitivity analysis on the influence of CO_(2)injection location,layer spacing,pressure difference,borehole number,and hydraulic fractures on oil production and CO_(2)storage is *** CO_(2)flooding process is divided into four *** in layer spacing will significantly improve oil production rate and gas storage ***,serious gas channeling can occur when the spacing is lower than 20 *** the pressure difference between the producer and injector,the borehole number,the hydraulic fracture height,and the fracture width can also increase the oil production rate and gas storage *** analysis shows that layer spacing and fracture height greatly influence gas storage and oil *** outcomes are expected to provide a theoretical basis for the efficient development of shale oil reservoirs in the vertical direction.

Animal body size variation is of particular interest in evolutionary biology,but the genetic basis remains largely *** studies have shown the presence of two parallel evolutionary genetic clusters within the fish genus Epinephelus with evident divergence in body size,providing an excellent opportunity to investigate the genetic basis of body size variation in ***,we performed phylotranscriptomic analysis and reconstructed the phylogeny of 13 epinephelids originating from the South China *** genetic clades with an estimated divergence time of approximately 15.4 million years ago were correlated with large and small body size,respectively.A total of 180 rapidly evolving genes and two positively selected genes were identified between the two *** enrichment analyses of these candidate genes revealed distinct enrichment categories between the two *** pathways and genes may play important roles in body size variation in groupers through complex regulatory *** on our results,we speculate that the ancestors of the two divergent groups of groupers may have adapted to different environments through habitat selection,leading to genetic variations in metabolic patterns,organ development,and lifespan,resulting in body size divergence between the two locally adapted *** findings provide important insights into the genetic mechanisms underlying body size variation in groupers and species differentiation.

Thermochromic polymers with tunable thermochromism,high stretchability and mechanical strength are of interests for optical information storage and *** this work,we demonstrate a new design of thermo-fluorochromic carboxylated nitrile butadiene rubber(XNBR)elastomer cross-linked by Eu^(3+)-COOH dynamic coordination with deprotonated imidazole(DPIm)as the ancillary *** presence of DPIm not only improves the mechanical strength and stretchability,but also dramatically intensifies the fluorescence emission and lifetime of the Eu-containing *** elastomer behaves reversible thermo-fluorochromism with easily tunable transition temperature and emission intensity by the simple change of the deprotonation degree of *** facile tunable thermo-fluorochromism,exceptional mechanical strength,and high stretchability(up to about 5000%)enable the Eu-containing XNBR elastomer with potential applications in soft electronics where optical information storage and encryption are required.

The Tibetan Plateau(TP)is highly sensitive to even minor fluctuations in land surface temperature(LST),which can result in permafrost melting and degradation of alpine grasslands,leading to serious ecological ***,it is crucial to have high-temporal-resolution and seamless hourly estimating and monitoring of LST for a better understanding of climate change on the ***,we employed Himawari-8 satellite,Digital Elevation Model(DEM),ERA5 reanalysis and meteorological station observations data to develop a new LightGBM framework(called Geo-LightGBM)for estimating LST on the TP,and then analyzed the spatiotemporal variations of those ***-LightGBM demonstrated excellent LST estimation accuracy,with an R2(coefficient of determination)of 0.971,RMSE(root-mean-square error)of 2.479℃,and MAE(mean absolute error)of 1.510℃.The estimated LST values for the year 2020 agreed well with observed values,with remarkable differences in hourly LST ***,the estimated LST was more accurate than that from ***,there were two high LST centers,located in the Yarlung Zangbo River Basin and the Qaidam Basin,and a low LST center located in the central *** SHAP(SHapley Additive exPlanations)and correlation analyses revealed DSCS(the mean ground downward shortwave radiation under clear-sky conditions)to be the most importantly input variable for estimating *** dummy variables(e.g.,longitude,latitude,DEM)were also found to be crucial for model accuracy *** findings indicate the potential for constructing a high-precision and seamless 24-h LST real-time retrieval and monitoring platform for the TP by combining satellite and China's independently developed CLDAS(China Land Data Assimilation System)data in future.
