Background: Mucoepidermoid carcinoma ex-pleomorphic adenoma (MEcxPA) is an extremely rare salivary gland malignancy. With only nine prior reported cases, this entity represents a challenging histopathological diagnosis. Methods: We present a case of a 71-year-old male with an enlarging left neck mass over several months. cT showed both a parapharyngeal space mass and a separate level II neck mass. Results: The patient underwent resection of the left parapharyngeal mass and ipsilateral selective level II-IV lymphadenectomy. The final pathologic diagnosis was metastatic high-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma ex-pleomorphic adenoma. conclusions: We describe a novel presentation of high-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma ex-pleomorphic adenoma as a metastatic parapharyngeal mass.

Recent studies have shown the potential of artificially synthesized conduits in the repair of peripheral nerve *** biopolymers have received much attention because of their *** investigate the effects of novel electrospun absorbable poly(ε-caprolactone)/type I collagen nanofiber conduits(biopolymer nanofiber conduits)on the repair of peripheral nerve injury,we bridged 10-mm-long sciatic nerve defects with electrospun absorbable biopolymer nanofiber conduits,poly(ε-caprolactone)or silicone conduits in Sprague-Dawley *** neurologica1 function was weekly evaluated using sciatic function index within 8 weeks after *** weeks after repair,sciatic nerve myelin sheaths and axon morphology were observed by osmium tetroxide staining,hematoxylin-eosin staining,and transmission electron microscopy.S-100(Schwann cell marker)and cD4(inflammatory marker)immunoreactivities in sciatic nerve were detected by *** rats subjected to repair with electrospun absorbable biopolymer nanofiber conduits,no serious inflammatory reactions were observed in rat hind limbs,the morphology of myelin sheaths in the injured sciatic nerve was close to ***4 immunoreactivity was obviously weaker in rats subjected to repair with electrospun absorbable biopolymer nanofiber conduits than in those subjected to repair with poly(ε-caprolactone)or *** subjected to repair with electrospun absorbable biopolymer nanofiber conduits tended to have greater sciatic nerve function recovery than those receiving poly(ε-caprolactone)or silicone *** results suggest that electrospun absorbable poly(ε-caprolactone)/type I collagen nanofiber conduits have the potential of repairing sciatic nerve defects and exhibit good *** experimental procedures were approved by Institutional Animal care and Use committee of Taichung Veteran General Hospital,Taiwan,china(La-1031218)on October 2,2014.

现在很多部门都需要通过规则处理海量情报数据,规则的数量一旦达到海量级规模,对规则的处理技术的要求将会变得越来越高,海量规则的优化将是一个十分重要的问题.文中展示了一种海量规则的优化方法.若两个规则网最后的计算结果是一样的,则可以认为这两个规则网是等价的.基于该等价规则模块的变换可以将代价小的规则模块替换掉代价大的规则模块,从而以后可以选择一种代价最小的规则模块.本文提出规则网模块等价替换的5种优化方法,并对其做了相应的证明.通过优化,可以使得海量规则网处于计算代价尽量最小状态,以此减少处理机的计算工作量.分析表明,通过等价规则替换,可以大大提高规则处理效率.

Purpose: The optimal formulation of pegylated interferon a (PEG-IFa) as a part of combination therapy with ribavirin (RBV) is uncertain for patients infected with hepatitis c Genotypes 2 and 3. Methods: A multivariate analysis of prospectively collected treatment data from two tertiary centres on 351 treatment na?ve HcV Genotype 2 or 3 patients who received PEG-IFa-2a or b plus ribavirin. Results: Univariate analyses demonstrate that PEG-IFa-2b based on regimens achieved a higher sustained virological response (SVR) than PEG-IFa-2a (77.9% versus 62.0%, P = 0.0012). On multivariate analyses, PEG-IFa-2b appeared superior to PEG-IFa-2a with an odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (cI95) for SVR of 2.19 (cI95 1.35-3.52, P = 0.0005). Genotype was a significant predictor of outcome in the multivariate model with 80% of Genotype 2 but only 67.7% of Genotype 3 subjects achieving SVR (OR 2.66 [cI95 1.35-5.92]). Increasing age was negatively associated with SVR (OR 0.97 [cI95 0.94-0.99]). Some of the differences in SVR are explained by higher relapse rates with PEG-IFa-2a (P = 0.009). conclusions: PEG-IFa-2b and RBV achieve higher SVR rates than PEG-IFa-2a and RBV in Genotypes 2 and 3 chronic HcV infections. There is less relapse with PEG-IFa-2b. Genotype 2 infections are considerably easier to cure. SVR is higher in younger patients. These findings should influence a choice of PEG-IFa in the era of direct acting anti-viral drugs in therapy of Genotypes 2 and 3.

Hiding data in acid （DNA） can facilitate annotation of important plant the deoxyribose nucleic the authentication and variety rights. A grant of plant variety rights for a new plant variety gives you the exclusive right to produce for sale and sell propagating material of the variety. Digital watermarking techniques have been proposed for a wide range of applications, including ownership protection, copy control, annotation, and authentication. However, existing data hiding methods for DNA change the functionalities of DNA sequences, which induce morphological changes in biological patterns. This paper proposes a high capacity data hiding scheme for DNA without changing the functionalities of DNA sequences. This scheme adaptively varies the embedding process according to the amount of hidden data. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme gives a significantly improved hiding performance than previous schemes. And the robustness and security issues are also analyzed.

首先简要介绍语义Web服务资源描述框架(RDF4S),在此基础上提出语义Web服务包装机制,语义Web服务经包装后,分别通过组合接口和调用接口为组合语义Web服务的设计与调用提供支持。然后分别详细介绍组合语义Web服务的设计存储和调用执行:通过图形化的设计工具按照语义Web服务的3种基本逻辑关系设计组合结构图,然后将该图映射到组合结构信息表存储,组合语义Web服务执行时根据结构信息表生成语义Web服务代理对象和相应的语义消息,再根据语义消息传递机制调用Web服务实体。最后用一个实例展示组合语义Web服务执行时的消息传递,试验表明该方法有效。
