Recently,a report from Elite Readers suggested that a strange phenomenon of ’square-shaped waves’ had occurred at the beaches of the Isle of Rhe in the Bay of *** on the hydrological and geological data of the Bay of Biscay,we find that the special phenomenon is closely related to a solitary wave that can be described by the shallow water wave *** discuss the formation mechanisms of the square-shaped waves by the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili *** combination of exact solutions and actual condition provides the simulated initial *** then reproduce a square-shaped structure by a numerical method and obtain the result consistent with the observed picture from *** work enriches public understanding of strange water waves and has great significance for tourism development and shipping transportation.

A methodology study is performed in order to get access to databases and calculations via Internet. The data retrieved from a database or calculated from a program can be converted into HTML documents using the HTML extension files (* htx) as the template and sent back to the web browsers. As an example, a database and a program package for thermodynamic and equilibrium properties data retrieval and calculations in engineering chemistry are developed on the web server.

As prostate cancer(PCa)is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancer worldwide,identifying potential prognostic bio-markers is *** this study,the survival information,gene expression,and protein expression data of 344 PCa cases were collected from the Cancer Proteome Atlas(TCPA)and the Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)to investigate the potential prognostic *** integrated prognosis-related proteins(IPRPs)model was constructed based on the risk score of each patients using machine-learning *** model suggested that Elevated RAD50 expression(p=0.016)and down-regulated SMAD4 expression(p=0.017)were significantly correlated with unfavorable outcomes for PCa ***(IHC)staining and western blot(WB)analysis revealed significant differential expression of SMAD4 and RAD50 protein between tumor and normal tissues in validation *** to the overall IHC score,patients with low SMAD4(p<0.0001)expression and high RAD50 expression(p=0.0001)were significantly correlated with poor ***,expression of SMAD4 showed significantly negative correlation with most immune checkpoint molecules,and the low SMAD4 expression group exhibited significantly high levels of LAG3(p<0.05),TGFβ(p<0.001),and PD-L1(p<0.05)compared with the high SMAD4 expression group in the validation *** with low SMAD4 expression had significantly higher infiltration of memory B cells(p=0.002),CD8+T cells(p<0.001),regulatory T cells(p=0.006),M2-type macrophages(p<0.001),and significantly lower infiltration of naïve B cells(p=0.002),plasma cells(p<0.001),resting memory CD4+T cells(p<0.001)and eosinophils(p=0.045).Candidate proteins were mainly involved in antigen processing and presentation,stem cell differentiation,and type I interferon pathways.

This article discusses the recent study written by Koizumi et ***-associated liver disease(ALD)is a major cause of liver-related morbidity and mortality,which is driven by complex mechanisms,including lipid accumulation,apoptosis,and inflammatory responses exacerbated by gut barrier *** study explored the therapeutic potential of elafibranor,a dual peroxisome proliferatoractivated receptor alpha/delta *** clinical trials,elafibranor has shown promise for the treatment of other liver conditions;however,its effects on ALD remain *** authors’findings indicate that elafibranor significantly reduced liver fibrosis and enhanced gut barrier integrity in patients with *** positive effects of elafibranor are mediated through multiple *** promotes lipid metabolism,reduces oxidative stress,and inhibits inflammatory responses by restoring gut barrier ***,it improves hepatocyte function by enhancing autophagic and antioxidant capacity,and it mitigates inflammation by suppressing the lipopolysaccharide/toll-like receptor 4/nuclear factor kappa B signaling *** findings indicate that elafibranor has promising clinical *** addition,the study highlights elafibranor’s potential as a therapeutic agent for liver diseases,particularly *** article underscores the importance of understanding the mechanistic pathways underlying ALD and suggests directions for future research aimed at elucidating the benefits and limitations of elafibranor.

The utilization of iron coke provides a green pathway for low-carbon *** uncover the influence mechanism of iron ore on the behavior and kinetics of iron coke gasification,the effect of iron ore on the microstructure of iron coke was ***,a comparative study of the gasification reactions between iron coke and coke was conducted through non-isothermal thermogravimetric *** findings indicate that compared to coke,iron coke exhibits an augmentation in micropores and specific surface area,and the micropores further extend and *** provides more adsorption sites for CO_(2) molecules during the gasification process,resulting in a reduction in the initial gasification temperature of iron *** the heating rate in non-isothermal gasification can enhance the reactivity of iron *** metallic iron reduced from iron ore is embedded in the carbon matrix,reducing the orderliness of the carbon structure,which is primarily responsible for the heightened reactivity of the carbon *** kinetic study indicates that the random pore model can effectively represent the gasification process of iron coke due to its rich pore ***,as the proportion of iron ore increases,the activation energy for the carbon gasification gradually decreases,from 246.2 kJ/mol for coke to 192.5 kJ/mol for iron coke 15wt%.

The Hot Dry Rock(HDR)is considered as a clean and renewable energy,poised to significantly contribute to the global energy decarbonization *** HDR projects worldwide have accumulated valuable experience in efficient drilling and completion,reservoir construction,and fracture *** 2019,China Geological Survey(CGS)initiated a demonstration project of HDR exploration and production in the Gonghe Basin,aiming to overcome the setbacks faced by HDR *** the ensuing four years,the Gonghe HDR project achieved the first power generation in 2021,followed by the second power generation test in *** establishing the primary well group in the initial phase,two directional wells and one branch well were *** progress was made in successfully constructing the targeted reservoir,realizing inter-well connectivity,power generation and grid connection,implementing of the real-time micro-seismic monitoring.A closed-loop technical validation of the HDR exploration and production was ***,many technical challenges remain in the process of HDR industrialization,such as reservoir fracture network characterization,efficient drilling and completion,multiple fracturing treatment,continuous injection and production,as well as mitigation of induced seismicity and numerical simulation technology.
