Synthesis of ordered mesoporous crystalline boron phosphate scaffold with double diamond surface structure

Ordered mesoporous materials have received great attention due to their well-defined pore structures and potential applications in catalysis, adsorption, separation, drug delivery, etc. Although various compositions of mesoporous solids have been successfully prepared, the preparation of crystalline non-metallic oxyacid salts with ordered mesoporosity remains a major challenge. Herein, we report the synthesis of a mesoporous solid acid crystalline boron phosphate（BPO4） catalyst with a bicontinuous shifted double diamond（SDD） hyperbolic surface structure. The BPO4scaffold was obtained by synergistic selfassembly in a mixed solvent of water and tetrahydrofuran using the diblock copolymer poly（ethylene oxide）-block-polystyrene as template and phosphoric acid and orthoboric acid as inorganic sources. The structure consists of two sets of diamond networks adjacent to each other with a mesostructural scale tetragonal symmetry（space group I41/amd） with unit cell parameters of a =80 nm and c = 113 nm, which affords the scaffold a specific surface area of 44 m2/g. As a solid acid catalytic material, the SDD BPO4scaffold exhibited excellent catalytic activity at room temperature with a conversion of furfural to 2-（dimethoxymethyl）furan over 70% and can be reused after recovery without serious loss of activity. In the propane oxidative dehydrogenation reaction, SDD BPO4demonstrated high olefin productivity and selectivity while maintaining high reaction rate. This study provides ideas for the preparation of ordered mesoporous crystalline catalytic materials and demonstrates their potential for practical applications.

A Highly Selective Metal-Free Boron-Based Catalyst for Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Ethylbenzene

Direct catalytic propane dehydrogenation(PDH)to obtain propylene is a more economical and environmentally friendly route for propylene *** particular,alumina-supported Cr2O3 catalysts can have better potential applications if the acidic properties could be ***,a series of rod-shaped porous alumina were prepared through a hydrothermal route,followed by *** was found that the acidity of the synthesized alumina was generally lower than that of the commercial alumina and could be adjusted well by varying the calcination *** alumina materials were used as supports for active Cr2O3,and the obtained catalysts could enhance the resistance to coke formation associated with similar activity in PDH reaction compared to the commercial *** amount of coke deposited on a self-made catalyst(Cr-Al-800)was 3.6%,which was much lower than that deposited on the reference catalyst(15.7%).The lower acidity of the catalyst inhibited the side reactions and coke formation during the PDH process,which was beneficial for its high activity and superior anti-coking properties.

Electrospinning synthesis of porous boron-doped silica nanofibers for oxidative dehydrogenation of light alkanes

The discovery of the high activity and selectivity of boron-based catalysts for oxidative dehydrogenation(ODH)of alkanes to olefins has attracted significant attention in the exploration of a new method for the synthesis of highly active and selective ***,we describe the synthesis of porous boron-doped silica nanofibers(PBSNs)100-150 nm in diameter by electrospinning and the study of their catalytic *** electrospinning synthesis of the catalyst ensures the uniform dispersion and stability of the boron species on the open silica fiber *** one-dimensional nanofibers with open pore structures not only prevented diffusion limitation but also guaranteed high catalytic activity at high weight hourly space velocity(WHSV)in the ODH of *** to other supported boron oxide catalysts,PBSN catalysts showed higher olefin selectivity and *** presence of Si-OH groups in silica-supported boron catalysts may cause low propylene selectivity during the ODH of *** the ODH conversion of ethane reached 44.3%,the selectivity and productivity of ethylene were 84%and 44.2%g_(cat)^(-1)s^(-1),*** the case of propane ODH,the conversion,selectivity of olefins,and productivity of propylene are 19.2%,90%,and 76.6 jimol g_(cat)^(-1)s^(-1),*** significant variations in the conversion and product selectivity occurred during 20 h of operation at a high WHSV of 84.6 h^(-1).Transient analysis and kinetic experiments indicated that the activation of O2 was influenced by alkanes during the ODH reaction.

Understanding the competition and coexistence of flagship carnivores is key to creating strategies for their conservation in the face of global carnivore *** studies exploring the dynamics and competition between tigers(Panthera tigris)and leopards(***)span decades,there is a lack of understanding regarding the factors that influence their coexistence mechanisms on a broad scale,as well as the drivers determining their exploitative and interference *** gathered a comprehensive list of research papers among which 36 papers explored the interspecific interactions between tigers and leopards and tested the influence of biotic and abiotic factors on the coexistence mechanisms along three dimensions using multiple response variables regression models;we also tested the influence of ecological drivers determining the exploitative or interference competition between tigers and *** and ungulate density were the most important predictors in regulating the coexistence *** and leopards exhibited more positive relations/higher overlaps as elevation increased in the spatial *** addition,they showed a higher dietary overlap in the prey-rich *** determined that interference competition between tigers and leopards was less frequently observed in habitats with dense tree cover and homogeneous vegetation ***,studies with multiple metrics would promote the detection of interference *** study provides new insight into the competitive interactions and coexistence mechanisms of tigers and leopards on a broad ***-makers and managers should pay more attention to the factors of elevation,prey abundance,and habitat structures for the conservation of tigers and leopards.

Modified Sadowski formula-based model for the slope shape amplification effect under multistage slope blasting vibration

Modified multiple-component scattering power decomposition for PolSAR data based on eigenspace of coherency matrix

A modified multiple-component scattering power decomposition for analyzing polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) data is proposed. The modified decomposition involves two distinct steps. Firstly, eigenvectors of the coherency matrix are used to modify the scattering models. Secondly, the entropy and anisotropy of targets are used to improve the volume scattering power. With the guarantee of high double-bounce scattering power in the urban areas, the proposed algorithm effectively improves the volume scattering power of vegetation areas. The efficacy of the modified multiple-component scattering power decomposition is validated using actual AIRSAR PolSAR data. The scattering power obtained through decomposing the original coherency matrix and the coherency matrix after orientation angle compensation is compared with three algorithms. Results from the experiment demonstrate that the proposed decomposition yields more effective scattering power for different PolSAR data sets.
