Ultrathin corrugated metallic structures have been proved to support spoof surface plasmon polariton (SPP) modes on two-dimension (2D) planar microwave ***,to provide stronger field confinement,larger width of strip is required to load deeper grooves,which is cumbersome in modern large-scale integrated circuits and *** this work,a new spoof SPP transmission line (TL) with zigzag grooves is *** new structure can achieve stronger field confinement compared to conventional one with the same strip *** other words,the proposed spoof SPP TL behaves equivalently to a conventional one with much larger *** analysis theoretically indicates the negative correlation between the ability of field confinement and cutoff frequencies of spoof SPP *** simulations indicate that the cutoff frequency of the proposed TL is lower than the conventional one and can be easily modified with the fixed ***,two samples of the new and conventional spoof SPP TLs are fabricated for experimental *** S-parameters and field distributions verify the ultra-strong ability of field confinement of the proposed spoof SPP ***,this novel spoof SPP structure with ultra-strong field confinement may find wide applications in microwave and terahertz engineering.

In the determination of the Earth gravity field in satellite geodesy, the inclination functions represent the projection of data observed along the orbital plane of a satellite orbit into the sphere in the terrestial reference frame. The inclination functions in this work is studied from a group theoretical perspective. The inclination functions are proved to generate a representation of the SO(3) group. An orthogonal relation of the inclination functions is derived and some recurrence relations for the inclination functions are given, based on which an algorithm to calculate the inclination functions is proposed.

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have emerged as a promising high-efficiency energy storage system due to the high energy density,low-cost and environmental ***,the practical application of AZIBs is severely restricted by the challenges faced by the Zn anode,which include uncontrollable dendrite growth,corrosion and hydrogen evolution ***,a simple and convenient physical vapor deposition(PVD)method is reported for fabricating uniform graphite as a protection layer on the surface of Zn *** high conductivity graphite layer on Zn anode(denoted as Zn@C)not only benefits the uniform distribution of the electric field,but also provides numerous Zn nucleation sites to regulate and navigate Zn-ion stripping/plating ***,the graphite layer with a poor catalytic activity endows the Zn@C anode with a highly suppressed hydrogen ***,a hydrogen and dendrite free anode is achieved with artificial anticatalytic carbon layer on Zn anode,exhibiting a high reversibility and excellent cycling stability over 2600 h at the current density of 5 mA·cm^(-2)with a capacity of 2.5 mAh·cm^(-2)and longtime cycling stability for assembled full *** work strategically designs the properties of the artificial interface layer to effectively address various challenges simultaneously,which presents insights for the future development of high-performance rechargeable AZIBs.

Polymerization-induced self-assembly(PISA)combines synthesis and self-assembly of artificial polymers in one-pot,which brings us one step closer to emulating ***,the reported PISA formulations primarily focus on developing nano-objects with new chemical compositions and rarely on structural regulation of polymers with specific ***,sequence structure controllable polymerization-induced self-assembly(SCPISA)is reported by using 7-(2-methacryloyloxyethoxy)-4-methylcoumarin(CMA)as a *** the copolymerization of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA)and CMA,controlled incorporation of CMA units into the polymer chains can be realized by programmable light/heat ***-based P(HEMA-co-CMA)copolymers with the same composition but different sequence structures generate a range of ***,the morphologies of the resultant nano-objects can also be controlled by regulating the feed molar ratio of CMA and HEMA,which is similar to the conventional PISA,but the synthesis procedure is obviously simplified in *** versatility of the methodology is further demonstrated by the fabrication of different functional nano-objects with sequence structure-dependent morphologies in SCPISA systems with different functional monomers.

Conventional MgO-C bricks(graphite content>14 wt.%)produce a great deal of greenhouse gas emission,while low-carbon MgO-C bricks have serious thermal shock resistance during high-temperature *** enhance the high-temperature mechanical property and thermal shock resistance of low-carbon MgO-C bricks,a novel route of introducing ZrSiO_(4) powder into low-carbon MgO-C bricks was reported in such refractories with 2 wt.% flaky *** results indicate that the low-carbon MgO-C brick with 0.5 wt.%ZrSiO_(4) addition has the maximum hot modulus of rupture at 1400℃ and the corresponding specimen fired in the carbon embedded atmosphere has the maximum residual strength ratio(98.6%)after three thermal shock *** is found that some needle-like AlON and plate-like Al_(2)O_(3)-ZrO_(2) composites were in situ formed in the matrices after the low-carbon MgO-C bricks were coked at 1400℃,which can enhance the high-temperature mechanical property and thermal shock resistance due to the effect of fiber toughening and particle ***,CO_(2) emission of the newly developed low-carbon MgO-C bricks is reduced by 58.3% per ton steel after using them as the working lining of a 90 t vacuum oxygen decarburization ladle.

Acute pancreatitis is a common systemic inflammatory disease, manifested by a spectrum of severity, ranging from mild in the majority of patients to severe acute pancreatitis. Patients with severe acute pancreatitis suffer from severe local and systemic complications and organ failure, leading to a poor prognosis. The early recognition of the severe condition is important to improve prognosis. Obesity has risen in tandem with an increase in the severity of acute pancreatitis in recent years. Studies have revealed that adipose tissue, particularly visceral adipose tissue is associated with the prognosis of acute pancreatitis. This review discussed the role of visceral adipose tissue in obese patients with acute pancreatitis and explored the possible mechanism involved.

Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a nonspecific inflammatory disease of the intestine that includes Crohn’s disease and ulcerative *** IBD is difficult to heal and easily relapses,it could worsen patient quality of life and increase economic ***(CUR)is a bioactive component derived from the rhizome of turmeric(Curcuma longa).Many basic and clinical studies have shown that CUR can efficiently treat IBD by decreasing the activity of proinflammatory cytokines by communicating with transcription factors and signaling ***,due to the limitations of being almost insoluble in aqueous solutions and having low oral bioavailability,it is important to select appropriate pharmaceutical preparations.
