In this paper,we consider the statistical inferences in a partially linear model when the model error follows an autoregressive process.A two-step procedure is proposed for estimating the unknown parameters by taking into account of the special structure in *** the asymptotic matrix of the estimator for the parametric part has a complex structure,an empirical likelihood function is also *** derive the asymptotic properties of the related statistics under mild *** simulations,as well as a real data example,are conducted to illustrate the finite sample performance.

We study the transmission dynamics of a driven two-level system dissipated by the two *** nonequilibrium Green function,we derive an analytical transmission formula for an electron incident from the left lead,through the double quantum dots,to the right ***-type conductance and current are also given.A discussion of the internal tunneling dynamics reveals crucial effects of the localization and delocalization on the transport of the system.

As a noninvasive technique,ultrasound stimulation is known to modulate neuronal activity both in vitro and in *** latest explanation of this phenomenon is that the acoustic wave can activate the ion channels and further impact the electrophysiological properties of targeted ***,the underlying mechanism of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound(LIPUS)-induced neuro-modulation effects is still ***,we characterize the excitatory effects of LIPUS on spontaneous activity and the intracellular Ca^(2+)homeostasis in cultured hippocampal *** whole-cell patch clamp recording,we found that 15 min of 1-MHz LIPUS boosts the frequency of both spontaneous action potentials and spontaneous excitatory synaptic currents(sEPSCs)and also increases the amplitude of sEPSCs in hippocampal *** phenomenon lasts for>10 min after LIPUS *** with Ca^(2+)imaging,we clarified that LIPUS increases the[Ca^(2+)]cyto level by facilitating L-type Ca^(2+)channels(LTCCs).In addition,due to the[Ca^(2+)]cyto elevation by LIPUS exposure,the Ca^(2+)-dependent CaMKII-CREB pathway can be activated within 30 min to further regulate the gene transcription and protein *** work suggests that LIPUS regulates neuronal activity in a Ca^(2+)-dependent manner via *** may also explain the multi-activation effects of LIPUS beyond *** stimulation potentiates spontaneous neuronal activity by increasing Ca^(2+)influx.

Objective:A high-fat,low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet has been used to treat malignant glioma,in which the Raf/MEK/ERK signaling pathway is ***,whether the Raf/MEK/ERK signaling pathway is involved in the therapeutic effect of ketone bodies remains *** this study,we investigated the effects of a major ketone body,3-hydroxybutyric acid(3-HBA),on the proliferation and metastasis of malignant glioblastoma cells and the underlying ***:Two human malignant glioblastoma cell lines(U87 and U251)were treated with different concentrations of 3-HBA with or without the Raf inhibitor PAF C-16 for 24 *** proliferation,cell cycle,cell invasion,and phospholipase D1(PLD1)activity were *** and gene expression levels of Raf/MEK/ERK signaling pathway members were ***:3-HBA significantly decreased cell proliferation,invasion,and intracellular PLD1 activity in both U87 and U251 glioblastoma cell lines.3-HBA treatment significantly increased the proportion of cells in the G1 phase and decreased the proportion of cells in S phase in U87 *** the U251 line,the proportion of treated cells in S phase was increased and proportion of cells in G2 was decreased.3-HBA treatment also significantly decreased the protein expression levels of Raf,MEK,p-MEK,ERK,p-ERK,and PLD1 while increasing p53 expression;an effect that was similar to treatment with the Raf ***-treatment of 3-HBA with the Raf inhibitor further enhanced the effects of the 3-HBA in both cell ***:We confirmed that a ketogenic microenvironment can inhibit glioma cell proliferation and invasion by downregulating the expression of PLD1 through the Raf/MEK/ERK signaling pathway.

Glass-ceramics have been prepared by using stainless steel slag, fly ash and coal fly ash that were figobtained from industrial solid waste. The crystallization behavior and mechanical characterization of the glass-ce-ramics with different （CaO ＋ MgO）/（SiO2 ＋ Al2O3） content ratios were studied. While the basicity decreases from 1.2 to 0.9 cm^-3, the bridge oxygen content increases from 1.18 ~ 10^21 to 1.34 ~ 10^21 cm^-3. According to the deconvolution of Raman spectra, the relative abundance of the stretching of Si-Onb bond （Q^n units） can be obtained. The increase in the Q^3 units dominates the polymerization in the process of decreasing basicity. This change in bonding is demonstrated to lead to polymerization of the glass network and the increase in crystallization activation energy from 336.0 to 360.7 kJ·mol^-l. The results demonstrate that the production of the glass-ceramics from industrial steel slag, fly ash and coal fly ash is cost-effective and offers advantages over other production methods.

Aim There is an increasing evidence for the role of high risk human papillomavirus （HPV） in the pathogenesis of oral squamous cell carcinoma （OSCC）. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relevance of HPV infection to the survival and prognosis of OSCC. Methodology Fifty-two patients with OSCC were followed from 4 to 88 months with a median of 50.7 months. HPV DNA was identified in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tumor specimens by nested PCR with MY09/MY11 and GP5^＋/GP6^＋ primer pairs and the HPV genotype was determined by direct DNA sequencing. Association between the HPV status and risk factors for cancer as well as tumor-host characteristics were *** curves were calculated by the Kaplan-Meier method and analyzed using the log-rank test. Results HPV was found in 40.4% of the tumors with HPV16 accounting for 63.5%, HPV18 for 30.8%, HPV6 for 3.9% and HPVll for 1.8%. No infection with more than one HPV genotype was detected. HPV infection was significantly associated with poor histological grade, TNM stage Ⅰ -Ⅱ, alcohol usage and no smoking status. Multivariate analysis showed that HPV had an independent prognostic effect on the overall survival after adjusting other confounding factors such as histological grade, TNM stage and tobacco usage. The presence of HPV was significantly correlated with a better survival in patients with OSCC. Conclusion HPV infection can act as an independent predictor for the survival and prognosis of OSCC.

Vascular endothelium can perceive fluid shear stress(FSS)and cyclic circumferential stretch(CCS)caused by the pulsatile blood flow,and translate the hemodynamics into biochemical signals to regulate vascular ***,existing methods provide little information about the real-time biochemical responses of endothelium when exposed to dynamic FSS and ***,a vasculature-on-a-chip integrated with stretchable sensing is engineered for recapitulating the hemodynamic milieus and in-situ monitoring biochemical responses of endothelial *** integrated device is developed by sandwiching a robust stretchable electrode between an upper fluidic channel and a lower pneumatic *** fluidic and pneumatic channels enable the simultaneous recapitulation of both FSS and CCS,and the integrated sensor exhibits excellent cell-adhesive capacity and electrochemical sensing stability even after long-term hemodynamic *** allow real-time monitoring of hemodynamic form-and duration-dependent endothelium responses,and further efficacy investigation about a recommended drug for COVID-19,demonstrating the great potential in vascular disease and drug screening.

To achieve automatic,fast and accurate severity classification of bulbar conjunctival hyperemia severity,we proposed a novel prior knowledge-based framework called mask distillation network(MDN).The proposed MDN consists of a segmentation network and a classification network with teacher-student *** segmentation network is used to generate a bulbar conjunctival mask and the classification network divides the severity of bulbar conjunctival hyperemia into four *** the classification network,we feed the original image and the image with the bulbar conjunctival mask into the student and teacher branches respectively,and an attention consistency loss and a classification consistency loss are used to keep a similar learning mode for these two *** design of“different input but same output”,named mask distillation(MD),aims to introduce the regional prior knowledge that“bulbar conjunctival hyperemia severity classification is only related to the bulbar conjunctiva region”.Extensive experiments on 5117 anterior segment images have proven the effectiveness of mask distillation technology:1)The accuracy of the MDN student branch is 3.5%higher than that of a single optimal baseline network and 2%higher than that of the baseline network combination.2)In the test phase,only the student branch is needed,and no additional segmentation network is *** framework only takes 0.003 s to classify a single image,achieving the fastest speed in all the methods we compared.3)Compared with a single baseline network,the attention of both teacher and student branches in the MDN has been intuitively improved.

A great deal of economic problems are related to detecting the stability of time series data,where the main interest is in the unit root *** this paper,we consider the unit root testing problem with errors being long-memory processes with the LARCH structure.A new test statistic is developed by using the random weighted bootstrap *** turns out that the proposed statistic has a chisquared distribution asymptotically regardless of the process being stationary or nonst at ionary,and with or without an intercept *** simulation results show that the statistic has a desired finite sample performance in terms of both size and power.A real data application is also given relying on the inflation rate data of 17 countries.
