The unique luminescent performance of lanthanide complexes/clay minerals hybrid materials has been fascinating many researchers for recent *** not only retains the excellent luminescent characteristics of lanthanide complexes but also improves the poor stability of the *** this article,we introduce the luminescence mechanism of lanthanide complexes and point out the necessity of their combination with clay *** the analysis of the structure and interlayer environment differences of 1:1-type and 2:1-type clay minerals,the intercalation methods(covalent grafting and ion exchange)appropriate for different clay minerals are summarized with *** on the luminescence characteristics of the hybrid materials,the applications of these materials as luminescent probes in recognition of specific metal cations and molecules,detection of pH value,and temperature are ***,the current problems in the preparation of lanthanide complexes/clay minerals hybrid luminescent materials and shortcomings that need improvement in their performance are analyzed,and the application prospect is forecast.

Sea-crossing bridges are affected by random wind–wave–undercurrent coupling loads, due to the complex marine environment. The dynamic response of long-span Rail-cum-Road cable-stayed bridges is particularly severe under their influence, potentially leading to safety problems. In this paper, a fluid–structure separation solution method is implemented using Ansys–Midas co-simulation, in order to solve the above issues effectively while using less computational resources. The feasibility of the method is verified by comparing the tower top displacement response with relevant experimental data. From time and frequency domain perspectives, the displacement and acceleration responses of the sea-crossing Rail-cum-Road cable-stayed bridge influenced by wave-only, wind–wave, and wind–wave–undercurrent coupling are comparatively studied. The results indicate that the displacement and acceleration of the front bearing platform top are more significant than those of the rear bearing platform. The dominant frequency under wind–wave–undercurrent coupling is close to the natural vibration frequencies of several bridge modes,such that wind–wave–undercurrent coupling is more likely to cause a resonance effect in the bridge. Compared with the wave-only and wind–wave coupling, wind–wave–undercurrent coupling can excite bridges to produce larger displacement and acceleration responses: at the middle of the main girder span, compared with the wave-only case, the maximum displacement in the transverse bridge direction increases by 23.58% and 46.95% in the wind–wave and wind–wave–undercurrent coupling cases, respectively;at the tower top, the variation in the amplitude of the displacement and acceleration responses of wind–wave and wind–wave–undercurrent coupling are larger than those in the wave-only case, where the acceleration change amplitude of the tower top is from-0.93 to 0.86 m/s^(2) in the waveonly case, from-2.2 to 2.1 m/s^(2) under wind–wave coupling effect, and from-2.6 to 2.6

Colorectal cancer(CRC)is one of the most prevalent and lethal cancer types around the *** of the CRC patients are treated with chemotherapeutic drugs alone or ***,up to 90%of metastatic cancer patients experience the failure of treatment mostly because of the acquired drug resistance,which can be led to multidrug resistance(MDR).In this study,we reviewed the recent literature which studied potential CRC MDR reversal agents among herbal medicines(HMs).Among abundant HMs,6 single herbs,Andrographis paniculata,Salvia miltiorrhiza,Hedyotis diffusa,Sophora flavescens,Curcuma longa,Bufo gargarizans,and 2 formulae,Pien Tze Huang and Zhi Zhen Fang,were found to overcome CRC MDR by two or more different mechanisms,which could be a promising candidate in the development of new drugs for adjuvant CRC chemotherapy.

Financial support is a crucial part of China's poverty alleviation ***,it is vital to understand how formal credit impacts income growth in rural *** 2012,2015,and 2018,a survey was conducted to obtain a panel dataset of 592 rural households from 6 poverty-stricken counties in western China,including counties in Guizhou,Yunnan,and Shaanxi *** use the data to examine the effect of formal credit on rural household income and the mechanism that underlies this *** find that formal credit can significantly increase rural households'income in deprived areas in western ***,formal credit promotes the reallocation of household labor from the agricultural sector to the non-agricultural sector and changes rural households'decisions about investment-consumption *** are the drivers of changes in the amount and structure of household *** analyses show that formal credit may widen income inequality among rural households in western China's deprived *** individual characteristics of rural households,such as different levels of material capital,human capital,and social capital,bring about differences in the effects of formal credit on income *** study emphasizes that the implementation of formal credit is an essential strategy for poverty alleviation in underdeveloped areas,but policymakers should not excessively interfere with the financial market.

Magnetic skyrmions,topologically protected chiral spin swirling quasiparticles,have attracted great attention in fundamental physics and ***,the discovery of two-dimensional(2D)van der Waals(vdW)magnets have aroused great interest due to their appealing physical ***,both experimental and theoretical works have revealed that isotropic Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction(DMI)can be achieved in 2D magnets or ferromagnet-based ***,2D magnets with anisotropic DMI haven’t been reported ***,via using first-principles calculations,we unveil that anisotropic DMI protected by D_(2d)crystal symmetry can exist in 2D ternary compounds MCuX_(2)(M:3d transition metal(TM),X:group VIA).Interestingly,by using micromagnetic simulations,we demonstrate that ferromagnetic(FM)antiskyrmions,FM bimerons,antiferromagnetic(AFM)antiskyrmions,and AFM bimerons can be realized in the MCuX_(2)*** discovery opens up an avenue to creating antiskyrmions and bimerons with anisotropic DMI protected by D_(2d)crystal symmetry in 2D magnets.

AIM: To search tools of high blood pressure in the model of nitric oxide (NO)-defective hypertension, and the study focused on the effect of rilmenidine, agonist of imidazoline receptors, which was suggested to modulate central sympathetic outflow. METHODS: Three experimental groups, each consisting of 7 rats, were used: (I) rats with inhibition of NO synthase (NOS) by NG-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME) 40 mg·kg-1·d-1 for 4 weeks in drinking water, (II) rats with inhibited NOS as in group I , plus agonist of imidazoline receptors rilmenidine 3 mg·kg-1·d-1 for 4weeks by gavage, and(III) control rats. Systolic blood pressure wasmeasured weekly noninvasively. At the end of experiment aortic ring isometric tension was followed, NOS expression (aorta, left ventricle), and NOS activity (left ventricle and brain) were determined. RESULTS: In the group I systolic blood pressure in- creased significantly, aortic ring relaxation to acetylcholine was significantly attenuated. Rilmenidine administered simultaneously with L-NAME (group II) prevented the increase of blood pressure which did not differ significantly from control values; aortic ring relaxation to acetylcholine did not differ from control. No change in NOS expres- sion (aorta and left ventricle) was found in groups I and II. Significant decline in NOS activity (left ventricle and brain) wasfound in groups I and II. CONCLUSION: Rilmenidinehas aremarkable role inNO-defective hypertension, possibly by inhibiting central sympathetic outflow and by affecting receptors in vascular smooth muscle also. The prime cause of hypertension in this experimental model - the compromised production of NO due to inhibition of NOS - was not affected by rilmenidine.

Reasonable seismic response analysis of a high rockfill dam is of great engineering significance in guiding its design and ensuring its seismic safety during operation,especially of a concrete-faced rockfill dam(CFRD)on overburden *** three-dimensional seismic behavior of the Miaojiaba CFRD is simulated and analyzed by the finite element method(FEM).The results indicate that:1)the amplification coefficient along the dam axis gradually increases with the altitude,and reaches maximum at the dam crest;2)the vertical residual deformation mainly exhibits downwards and reaches maximum near the dam crest;3)the earthquake significantly aggravates the deformation of peripheral joints;4)the impounding condition and overburden characteristics have great effects on the dam's seismic response.

Nowadays multiple wireless communication systems operate in industrial environments side by *** such an environment performance of one wireless network can be degraded by the collocated hostile wireless network having higher transmission power or higher carrier sensing *** the previous research works which considered IEEE 802.15.4 for the Industrial Wireless communication systems(iWCS)this paper examines the coexistence of IEEE 802.11 based iWCS used for delay-stringent communication in process automation and gWLAN(general-purpose WLAN)used for non-real time *** this paper,we present a Markov chain-based performance model that described the transmission failure of iWCS due to geographical collision with *** presented analytic model accurately determines throughput,packet transaction delay,and packet loss probability of iWCS when it is collocated with *** results of the Markov model match more than 90%with our simulation ***,we proposed an adaptive transmission power control technique for iWCS to overcome the potential interferences caused by the gWLAN *** simulation results show that the proposed technique significantly improves iWCS performance in terms of throughput,packet transaction,and cycle period ***,it enables the industrial network for the use of delay critical applications in the presence of gWLAN without affecting its performance.

In Drosophila melanogaster,the male ejaculatory bulb is the site of synthesis of a male-specific pheromone,cis-vaccenyl acetate,which functions as both an attractant and an *** long monounsaturated acetate is structurally similar to a number of shorter gland-synthesized moth *** cell monolayer that forms the Drosophila male ejaculatory bulb wall is responsible for the production and secretion of cis-vaccenyl acetate into the seminal *** dissected bulbs were incubated with sodium[14-C]-acetate(or deuterated acetate),a labeled acetate ester was *** labeled acetate ester co-migrated with cis-vaccenyl acetate in thin layer *** of the abdomens of males from which the ejaculatory bulbs had been removed,or the abdomens of females,with radiolabeled acetate did not yield any acetate ester,but did yield other lipid products,including *** the isolated labeled acetate ester was hydrolyzed,no radioactive vaccenol was *** strongly suggests that the acetyl group is incorporated via a transacetylation reaction,but that the vaccenyl moiety is not synthetized in the *** transacetylation enzyme activity was localized in the microsomal subfraction of the bulb homogenate,and its affinity for vaccenol was not very different from that reported for monounsaturated alcohol substrates in moths.
