In this paper,we focus on providing data provenance auditing schemes for distributed denial of service(DDoS)defense in intelligent internet of things(IoT).To achieve effective DDoS defense,we introduce a two-layer collaborative blockchain framework to support data auditing.Specifically,using data scattered among intelligent IoT devices,switch gateways self-assemble a layer of blockchain in the local autonomous system(AS),and the main chain with controller participation can be aggregated by its associated layer of blocks once a cycle,to obtain a global security model.To optimize the processing delay of the security model,we propose a process of data pre-validation with the goal of ensuring data consistency while satisfying overhead requirements.Since the flood of identity spoofing packets,it is difficult to solve the identity consistency of data with traditional detection methods,and accountability cannot be pursued afterwards.Thus,we proposed a Packet Traceback Telemetry(PTT)scheme,based on in-band telemetry,to solve the problem.Specifically,the PTT scheme is executed on the distributed switch side,the controller to schedule and select routing policies.Moreover,a tracing probabilistic optimization is embedded into the PTT scheme to accelerate path reconstruction and save device resources.Simulation results show that the PTT scheme can reconstruct address spoofing packet forward path,reduce the resource consumption compared with existing tracing scheme.Data tracing audit method has fine-grained detection and feasible performance.

Neutrophil and platelet are essential arms of the innate immune response. In sepsis, platelet abnormal activation as well as neu-trophil paralysis are well recognized. For platelet, it is characterized by the contribution to disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) and the enhanced inflammation response. In terms of neutrophil, its dysfunction is manifested by the impaired recruitment and migration to the infectious foci, abnormal sequestration in the remote organs, and the delayed clearance. More recently, it has been apparent that together platelet-neutrophil interaction can induce a faster and harder response during sepsis. This article focuses on the activation of platelet, dysfunction of neutrophil, and the interaction between them during sepsis and profiles some of the molecular mechanisms and outcomes in these cellular dialogues, providing a novel strategy for treatment of sepsis.

Recently,various privacy-preserving schemes have been proposed to resolve privacy issues in federated learning(FL).However,most of them ignore the fact that anomalous users holding low-quality data may reduce the accuracy of trained models.Although some existing works manage to solve this problem,they either lack privacy protection for users’sensitive information or introduce a two-cloud model that is difficult to find in reality.A reliable and privacy-preserving FL scheme named reliable and privacy-preserving federated learning(RPPFL)based on a single-cloud model is proposed.Specifically,inspired by the truth discovery technique,we design an approach to identify the user’s reliability and thereby decrease the impact of anomalous users.In addition,an additively homomorphic cryptosystem is utilized to provide comprehensive privacy preservation(user’s local gradient privacy and reliability privacy).We give rigorous theoretical analysis to show the security of RPPFL.Based on open datasets,we conduct extensive experiments to demonstrate that RPPEL compares favorably with existing works in terms of efficiency and accuracy.

Apple(Malus domestica)fruit generally undergoes a climacteric.During its ripening process,there is a peak in ethylene release and its firmness simultaneously decreases.Although more in-depth research into the mechanism of climacteric-type fruit ripening is being carried out,some aspects remain unclear.In this study,we compared the transcriptomes of 0-Pre and 15-Post(pre-and post-climacteric fruit),and 15-Post and 15-MCP[fruit treated with 1-MCP(1-methylcyclopropene)].Various transcription factors,such as MADS-box,ERF,NAC,Dof and SHF were identified among the DEGs(differential gene expressions).Furthermore,these transcription factors were selected for further validation analysis by qRT-PCR.Moreover,yeast one hybrid(Y1H),β-glucuronidase(GUS)transactivation assay and dual-luciferase reporter assay showed that MdAGL30,MdAGL104,MdERF008,MdNAC71,MdDof1.2,MdHSFB2a and MdHSFB3 bound to MdACS1 promoter and directly regulated its transcription,thereby regulating ethylene biosynthesis in apple fruit.Our results provide useful information and new insights for research on apple fruit ripening.

The change of customer behaviors and the fluctuation of spot prices can affect the benefits of electricity retailers.To address this issue,an incentive-based demand response(DR)model involving the utility and elasticity of customers is proposed for maximizing the benefits of retailers.The benefits will increase by triggering an incentive price to influence customer behaviors to change their demand consumptions.The optimal reduction of customers is obtained by their own profit optimization model with a certain incentive price.Then,the sensitivity of incentive price on retailers’benefits is analyzed and the optimal incentive price is obtained according to the DR model.The case study verifies the effectiveness of the proposed model.

We aimed to investigate the safety and efficacy of nirmatrelvir/ritonavir(Paxlovid)therapy for hemodialysis-dependent patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection.Thirteen hemodialysis patients infected with the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 from April 3 to May 30,2022,were recruited.Laboratory parameters and chest CT(computed tomography)imaging were analyzed.The treatment group included six patients who received 150 mg/100 mg of Paxlovid orally once daily for 5 days,whereas the control group included seven patients who received basic treatment.No serious adverse reactions or safety events were recorded.Four control patients progressed to moderate disease,and none in the treatment group showed progression of chest CT findings(P<0.05).Paxlovid therapy tended toward early viral clearance and low viral load on Day 8.Moreover,83.3%of the patients in the treatment group and 57.1%of the patients in the control group turned negative within 22 days.In the Paxlovid treatment group,we found significantly increased levels of lymphocytes(P=0.03)and eosinophils(P=0.02)and decreased levels of D-dimer on Day 8 compared with those on Day 1.Paxlovid therapy showed a potential therapeutic effect with good tolerance in hemodialysis patients.The optimal dose and effectiveness evaluation must be further investigated in a largeer cohort.

基于2017—2022年46个生活垃圾分类试点城市的108份有效政策文本,进行类型化和内容化分析,构建二维分析模型,以基本政策工具为X维度,政策的作用对象为Y维度。利用Nvivo 12 plus软件对108份政策文本进行手动编码,获得2534条有效节点,构成文本分析的数据源,之后在X维度与Y维度进行统计分析、评分,依据46个城市的评分结果,将其归类,并给出具体的政策完善建议。结果表明:(1)46个城市可大体分为四种类型。(2)当前阶段,各个城市的生活垃圾政策实施效果不佳,各试点城市所颁布的政策内容存在着重复单一、政策工具比例失衡、政策协同效果差、政策作用对象比例失衡等问题。(3)各试点城市应当结合自身的经济发展水平与社会地理环境,制定因地制宜的城市生活垃圾分类政策;要调整政策制定的过程中政策工具的使用比例,优化政策整体结构;要完善多元主体共同参与垃圾分类工作的机制制度设计。
