Vanadium(V) Complexes Containing Unsymmetrical N-Heterocyclic Carbene Ligands: Highly Efficient Synthesis and Catalytic Behavior towards Ethylene/Propylene Copolymerization

The highly efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of NHC·VOCl_(3) containing symmetrical or unsymmetrical Nheterocyclic carbene(NHC) ligands by the transmetallation reaction of NHC·AgCl with VOCl_(3).The total isolated yield of VOCl_(3)[1,3-(2.4,6-Me_(3)C_(6)H_(2.)_(2.(NCH=)_(2.C:](V4') reached 86% by transmetallation reaction,which is much higher than that(48%) by direct coordination *** methodology has also been used to synthesize the novel vanadium complexes containing unsymmetrical NHC ligands of VOCl_(3)[PhCH_(2.NCH=CHNR)C:](V5',R=2.4,6-Me_(3)C_(6)H_(2.;V6',R=2.4-Me_(2.-6-Ph-C_(6)H_(2.;V7',R=2.6-^(i)Pr_(2.-C_(6)H_(3)) with high yield,which could not be obtained by direct coordination *** catalytic activity and copolymerization ability would be improved by introducing unsymmetrical NHC ligands due to their less steric bulky *** vanadium complex V5' containing unsymmetrical NHC ligand exhibits higher catalytic activity(3.7×10^(5)g_(copolymer)·mol^(-1) of V·h^(-1)) than that of V4' containing symmetrical NHC ***,the higher propylene incorporation ratio(45.6 mol%) in the copolymers of ethylene with propylene could be obtained by using V5' than that(39.9%) by using V4'.The re{2.lts would provide a highly efficient strategy for the synthesis of early transition metal complexes containing versitile NHC ligands,affording the catalyst with both high catalytic activity and copolymerization ability for the synthesis of high performance polyolefin elastomers.

Memristor-based physical reservoir computing holds significant potential for efficiently processing complex spatiotemporal data,which is crucial for advancing artificial ***,owing to the single physical node mapping characteristic of traditional memristor reservoir computing,it inevitably induces high repeatability of eigenvalues to a certain extent and significantly limits the efficiency and performance of memristor-based reservoir computing for complex ***,this work firstly reports an artificial light-emitting synaptic(LES)device with dual photoelectric output for reservoir computing,and a reservoir system with mixed physical nodes is *** system effectively transforms the input signal into two eigenvalue outputs using a mixed physical node reservoir comprising distinct physical quantities,namely optical output with nonlinear optical effects and electrical output with memory *** previously reported memristor-based reservoir systems,which pursue rich reservoir states in one physical dimension,our mixed physical node reservoir system can obtain reservoir states in two physical dimensions with one input without increasing the number and types of *** recognition rate of the artificial light-emitting synaptic reservoir system can achieve 97.2.%in MNIST ***,the recognition task of multichannel images can be realized through the nonlinear mapping of the photoelectric dual reservoir,resulting in a recognition accuracy of 99.2.%.The mixed physical node reservoir computing proposed in this work is promising for implementing the development of photoelectric mixed neural networks and material-algorithm collaborative design.

Enhanced nitrite electroreduction to ammonia via interfacial dual-site adsorption

The nitrite(NO_(2.^(−))to ammonia(NH3)electroreduction reaction(NO_(2.^(−)RR)would be impeded by sluggish proton-coupled electron transfer kinetics and competitive hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).A key to improving the NH_(3) selectivity is to facilitate adsorption and activation of NO_(2.^(−),which is generally undesirable in unitary *** this work,an efficient NO_(2.^(−)RR catalyst is constructed by cooperating Pd with In2.3,in which NO_(2.^(−)could adsorb on interfacial dual-site through“Pd–N–O–In”linkage,leading to strengthened NO_(2.^(−)adsorption and easier N=O bond cleavage than that on unitary Pd or ***,the Pd/In_(2.O_(3)composite exhibits moderate H^(*)adsorption,which may facilitate protonation kinetics while inhibiting competitive *** a result,it exhibits a fairly high NH_(3)yield rate of 62..76 mmol h^(−1)g^(−1)cat with a Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 95.72.,good selectivity of 91.96%,and cycling stability towards the NO_(2.^(−)RR,surpassing unitary In_(2.O_(3)and Pd/C ***,computed results indicate that NH_(3)production on Pd/In_(2.O_(3)follows the deoxidation to hydrogenation *** work highlights the significance of H^(*)and NO_(2.^(−)adsorption modulation and N=O activation in NO_(2.^(−)RR electrochemistry by creating synergy between a mediocre catalyst with an appropriate cooperator.

Degradation of o-dichlorobenzene by DBD-NTP co-modified titanium gel catalyst

Automated Identification of Ordered Phases for Simulation Studies of Block Copolymers

In unit cell simulations,identification of ordered phases in block copolymers(BCPs)is a tedious and time-consuming task,impeding the advancement of more streamlined and potentially automated research *** this study,we propose a scattering-based automated identification strategy(SAIS)for characterization and identification of ordered phases of BCPs based on their computed scattering *** approach leverages the scattering theory of perfect crystals to efficiently compute the scattering patterns of periodic morphologies in a unit *** the first stage of the SAIS,phases are identified by comparing reflection conditions at a sequence of Miller *** confirm or refine the identification results of the first stage,the second stage of the SAIS introduces a tailored residual between the test phase and each of the known candidate ***,our strategy incorporates a variance-like criterion to distinguish background species,enabling its extension to multi-species BCP *** has been demonstrated that our strategy achieves exceptional accuracy and robustness while requiring minimal computational ***,the approach allows for real-time expansion and improvement to the candidate phase library,facilitating the development of automated research workflows for designing specific ordered structures and discovering new ordered phases in BCPs.

Achieving versatile room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)materials,especially with tunable mechanical properties and shape memory is attractive and essential but rarely ***,a strategy was reported to realize multi-functional RTP films with multicolor fluorescence,ultralong afterglow,adjustable mechanical properties,and shape memory through the synergistic dynamic interaction of lanthanide(Ln~Ⅲ)-terpyridine coordination,borate ester bonds,and hydrogen bondings in a poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)*** varying the amount of borax,the mechanical properties of the films could be finely controlled due to the change of crosslinking degree of dynamic borate ester bonds in *** assembly and disassembly of borate ester bonds upon the trigger of borax and acid were applied as reversible linkage to achieve programmable shape memory *** addition,the films displayed both fascinating multicolor fluorescence and ultralong afterglow characteristics due to the presence of Ln III doping and confinement of terpyridine in *** study provides a new avenue to impart modulable mechanical strength and shape memory to RTP materials.

Development and validation of a nomogram to predict allograft survival after pediatric liver transplantation

Longitudinal changes in body weight of breastfeeding mothers in the first year after delivery and its relationship with human milk composition:a combined longitudinal and cross-sectional cohort study
