The development of flexible supercapacitors(FSCs) capable of operating at high temperatures is crucial for expanding the application areas and operating conditions of supercapacitors. Gel polymer electrolytes and electrode materials stand as two key components that significantly impact the efficacy of hightemperature-tolerant FSCs(HT-FSCs). They should not only exhibit high electrochemical performance and excellent flexibility, but also withstand intense thermal stress. Considerable efforts have been devoted to enhancing their thermal stability while maintaining high electrochemical and mechanical performance. In this review, the fundamentals of HT-FSCs are outlined. A comprehensive overview of state-of-the-art progress and achievements in HT-FSCs, with a focus on thermally stable gel polymer electrolytes and electrode materials is provided. Finally, challenges and future perspectives regarding HT-FSCs are discussed, alongside strategies for elevating operational temperatures and *** review offers both theoretical foundations and practical guidelines for designing and manufacturing HT-FSCs, further promoting their widespread adoption across diverse fields.

This study aimed to investigate the moment redistribution in continuous glass fiber reinforced polymer(GFRP)-concrete composite slabs caused by concrete cracking and steel bar yielding in the negative bending moment *** experimental bending moment redistribution test was conducted on continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs,and a calculation method based on the conjugate beam method was *** composite slabs were formed by combining GFRP profiles with a concrete layer and supported on steel beams to create two-span continuous composite slab *** methods,epoxy resin bonding,and stud connection,were used to connect the composite slabs with the steel *** experimental findings showed that the specimen connected with epoxy resin exhibited two moments redistribution phenomena during the loading process:concrete cracking and steel bar yielding at the internal *** contrast,the composite slab connected with steel beams by studs exhibited only one-moment redistribution phenomenon throughout the loading *** the concrete at the internal support cracked,the bending moment decreased in the internal support section and increased in the midspan *** the steel bars yielded,the bending moment further decreased in the internal support section and increased in the mid-span *** GFRP profiles do not experience cracking,there was no significant decrease in the bending moment of the mid-span *** test specimens experienced compressive failure of concrete at the mid-span *** results showed good agreement between the calculated and experimental values of bending moments in the mid-span section and internal support *** proposed model can effectively predict the moment redistribution behavior of continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs.

Decadal prediction experiments of Beijing Climate Center climate system model version 1.1 （BCC- CSM1.1） participated in Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 （CMIPS） had poor skill in extratropics of the North Atlantic, the initialization of which was done by relaxing modeled ocean temperature to the Simple Ocean Data Assimilation （SODA） reanalysis data. This study aims to improve the prediction skill of this model by using the assimilation technique in the initialization. New ocean data are firstly generated by assimilating the sea surface temperature （SST） of the Hadley Centre Sea Ice and Sea Surface Temperature （HadlSST） dataset to the ocean model of BCC-CSM1.1 via Ensemble Optimum Interpolation （EnOI）. Then a suite of decadal reforecasts launched annually over the period 1961- 2005 is carried out with simulated ocean temperature restored to the assimilated ocean data. Comparisons between the re-forecasts and previous CMIP5 forecasts show that the re-forecasts are more skillful in mid-to-high latitude SST of the North Atlantic. Improved prediction skill is also found for the Atlantic multi-decadal oscillation （AMO）, which is consistent with the better skill of Atlantic meridional overturning circulation （AMOC） predicted by the re-forecasts. We conclude that the EnOl assimilation generates better ocean data than the SODA reanalysis for initializing decadal climate prediction of BCC-CSM1.1 model.

Several organic acids accumulated in Kochia Scoparia shoots and roots were studied by means of reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography with a C18 column. Five types of binary organic acids were separated. The organic acid concentrations were determined in K. Scoparia seedlings stressed by saline （NaCI） and alkaline （NaHCO3） at the same Na^＋ concentration. Concentrations of organic acids are stimulated by alkaline because the cells will adjust their pH values through the accumulation of organic acids, when the environment is basic. The concentrations of oxalic acid and succinic acid are higher than those of other organic acids, including tartaric acid and malic acid, and the concentration of citric acid is the lowest. The concentrations of the organic acids in the roots are higher than those in the shoots under salt（NaCI） stress, but the results are opposite while the roots are under alkali （ NaHCO3 ） stress. This indicates that there are different adaptive strategies for K. Scopar/a seedlings in organic acid metabolism under salt and alkali stress.

In biological neural systems, noise is ubiquitous but does not affect the correct decisions made in the complex cognitive ***-making in biological neural system is typically achieved by accumulating input information over a period of *** by recent developments in neurosciences, we design a decision-making module based on spintronic devices, utilizing superparamagnetic tunnel junctions as artificial neurons. The feasibility of this decision-making module is verified through circuit simulations. Taking a multi-layer perceptron as an example, the module significantly improves the accuracy of the perceptron in the handwritten digit recognition task. Furthermore, the spintronic decision-making module offers advantages over the conventional pooling methods, such as adaptive decision time, high performance and the absence of analog-to-digital conversion. The decision-making module is flexible to be integrated into artificial neural networks and provides a general yet effective solution to enhance performance against device noise.

The practice of artificial tracheal prosthesis has been a major challenge to the entire surgical field worldwide until now. The previously applied prosthesis is ＂inner stent＂ type, which is unable to heal biologically with native trachea, The newly developed design, the zhao＇s artificial trachea, uses a memory alloy mesh combined with traditional operation procedures. Following a 2-year experimental period, the device has been applied to seven patients with satisfying results.

Luminescence ratiometric thermometry based on rare earth(RE)ions has attracted great interest for the potential applications in many *** the improvement of the measurement sensitivity and accuracy is significantly restricted due to the small energy gap between thermally coupled levels(TCL).Here,a strategy striving for good thermometric properties of luminescent materials was designed by using the phosphors mixture composed of NaY(WO_(4))_(2):Nd^(3+)-Yb^(3+)and NaY(WO_(4))_(2):Er^(3+),which were prepared by secondary sintering *** the excitation of 980 nm lase r,the near-infrared(NIR)emissions(710-920 nm)from Nd^(3+)ions are effectively strengthened when the temperature increases from 304 to773 K,whereas Er^(3+)NIR luminescence centered at around 1536 nm is thermally *** remarkably different response of NIR emissions to the thermal variation allows us to map temperature through the ratiometric *** optimizing the dopant concentration of rare earth(RE)ions,a maximum sensitivity of 5.14%/K together with a measurement uncertainty of about 0.1 K is acquired at304 K,which is superior to the previously reported RE luminescence-based temperature sensors,indicating that the approach developed here can pave the way for achieving optical thermometry with desired properties.

The process of a single-tooth cutting formation is taken as the representative to analyze the fracture mechanism of the formation with natural flaws under the PDC drill *** modeling of the stress field distribution of the formation under a single tooth is proposed ***,the modeling of the stress intensity factor K,T-stress and the initiation angleθof the flaw under two far-field compressive loads in two cases are presented based on the mode-II ***,the results of theoretical calculations and simulations are given and *** on the analysis undertaken,it can be concluded that the confinement ratioλapplying on the flaw changes nonlinearly with the variation inα+φ.The relationship between the dimensionless ratioβx/βy of T-stress and the rotational polar angleφis a parabola with an upward *** the direction of the cutting force is consistent with the flaw,the stress intensity factor K and the initiation angleθat the tip of the flaw reach the *** addition,the angle between the cutting force and the flaw weakens the T-stress and inhibits the crack initiation and propagation of the *** results of numerical simulations show good agreement with theoretical calculations.

Alcohol dehydrogenase 5(ADH5)is a member of medium-chain dehydro-genase/reductase family and takes part in cellular formaldehyde and S-nitrosoglutathione metabolic network.2-tridecanone(2-TD)is a toxic compound in many Solanaceae crops to defend against a variety of herbivory *** the broader context of insect development and pest control strategies,this study investigates how a new ADHS from Helicoverpa armigera(HaADH5)regulates the expression of CYP6B6,a gene involved in molting and metamorphosis,in response to 2-TD *** of the HaADH5 complementary DNA sequence revealed that its 1002 bp open reading frame encodes 334 amino acids with a predicted molecular weight of 36.5 ***5 protein was purified in the Es-cherichia coli Transetta(pET32a-HaADH5)strain using a prokaryotic expression *** ability of HaADH5 protein to interact with the 2-TD responsive region within the promoter of CYP6B6 was confirmed by an in vitro electrophoretic mobility shift assay and transcription activity validation in ***,the expression levels of both HaADH5 and CYP6B6 were found to be significantly decreased in the midgut of 6th instar larvae after 48 h of treatment with 10 mg/g 2-TD artificial *** results indicate that upon 2-TD treatment of cotton bollworm,HaADHS regulates the expression of CYP6B6 by interacting with its *** HaADH5 regulation of CYP6B6 expression may con-tribute to the larval xenobiotic detoxification,molting and metamorphosis,HaADH5 is *** target for controlling the growth and development of cotton bollworm.
