Exploring mechanism of hidden,steep obliquely inclined bedding landslides using a 3DEC model:A case study of the Shanyang landslide in Shaanxi Province,China

Catastrophic geological disasters frequently occur on slopes with obliquely inclined bedding structures(also referred to as obliquely inclined bedding slopes),where the apparent dip sliding is not readily *** phenomenon has become a focal point in landslide ***,there is a lack of studies on the failure modes and mechanisms of hidden,steep obliquely inclined bedding *** study investigated the Shanyang landslide in Shaanxi Province,*** field investigations,laboratory tests of geotechnical parameters,and the 3DEC software,this study developed a numerical model of the landslide to analyze the failure process of such *** findings indicate that the Shanyang landslide primarily crept along a weak interlayer under the action of *** landslide,initially following a dip angle with the support of a stable inclined rock mass,shifted direction under the influence of argillization in the weak interlayer,moving towards the apparent dip *** slide resistance effect of the karstic dissolution zone was increasingly significant during this process,with lateral friction being the primary resistance force.A reduction in the lateral friction due to karstic dissolution made the apparent dip sliding characteristics of the Shanyang landslide more ***,deformations such as bending and uplift at the slope’s foot suggest that the main slide resistance shifts from lateral friction within the karstic dissolution zone to the slope foot’s resistance force,leading to the eventual buckling failure of the *** study unveils a novel failure mode of apparent dip creep-buckling in the Shanyang landslide,highlighting the critical role of lateral friction from the karstic dissolution zone in its failure *** insights offer a valuable reference for mitigating risks and preventing disasters related to obliquely inclined bedding landslides.

Microstructure and mechanical properties stability of pre-hardening treatment in Al-Cu alloys for pre-hardening forming process

Lithium carbonate(Li_(2)CO_(3))stands as a pivotal raw material within the lithium-ion battery ***,we propose a solid-liquid reaction crystallization method,employing powdered sodium carbonate instead of its solution,which minimizes the water introduction and markedly elevates one-step lithium recovery *** kinetic calculations,the Li_(2)CO_(3)solid-liquid reaction crystallization process conforms by the Avrami equation rather than shrinking core model,which means the dissolution rate of na_(2)CO_(3)is the most important factor affecting the reaction *** effects of reaction conditions such as temperature and stirring speed on the Li_(2)CO_(3)precipitation behavior were *** results indicated that temperature is a most essential parameter than other reaction conditions or stirring *** exceptional 93%recovery of Li_(2)CO_(3)at 90℃with a remarkable purity of 99.5%was achieved by using 1.2 M ratio of na_(2)CO_(3)/Li_(2)SO_(4).This method provides a new idea for the efficient preparation of battery-grade Li_(2)CO_(3).

Investigation of mechanical and electrical characteristics of selfsensing pneumatic torsional actuators

In order to solve the contradiction between the rapidly growing energy demand and the excessive exploitation of fossil fuels,it is urgent to research and develops more environmentally friendly and efficient energy storage ***,the development of high-performance cathode materials to enhance the energy density of SIB is currently one of the most important topics of scientific *** high-voltage and low-cost cathode material for SIBs,a composite of carbon-coated na_(4)MnCr(PO_(4))_(3)(naSICON-type),polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP),and modified carbon nanotubes(CNTs)is prepared by sol-gel and freeze-drying *** to the high conductivity of CNTs,the conductivity of the composite is significantly improved,and its initial capacity is increased to 114 mAh/g at 0.5 C and 96 mAh/g at 5 C(Mn^(2+)/Mn^(4+)conversion for voltage windows 1.4-4.3 V).Moreover,the multi-electrons transfer of Cr^(3+)/Cr^(4+) and Mn^(2+)/Mn^(4+) can provide a high capacity of 165 mAh/g at 0.1 C and 102 mAh/g at 5 C in the high voltage window of 1.4-4.6 ***,PVP can effectively inhibit the Jahn-Teller effect caused by Mn ion,making the composite have more excellent high-rate performance and *** addition,GITT,EIS and CV curves were drawn to better reveal the excellent kinetic properties of na_(4)MnCr(PO_(4))_(3)@C@PVP@CNT cathode,and the mechanism of its performance improvement is deeply studied and ***,the co-doping of CNTs and PVP is a simple way to high conductivity and fast charging of cathode materials for SIBs.

Super absorbent resin(SAR)is prepared by aqueous high temperature polymerization using hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC)as monomer backbone material,acrylic acid(AA)and acrylamide(AM)as the graft copolymer monomer,potassium persulfate(KPS)as the initiator to generate free radicals,and N,N`-methylenebisacrylamide(MBA)as cross-linking agent for cross-linking ***,the influence of individual factors on the water absorption is investigated,and these factors are mainly AA,AM,KPS,MBA,HPMC,and reaction *** optimized conditions are obtained by the experiment repeating for several *** water absorption multiplicity and salt absorption multiplicity under the conditions are 782.4 and 132.5 g/g,***,the effects of different temperatures and salt concentrations on its water absorption,as well as the swelling kinetics of SAR are *** is indicated the water-absorbing swelling process is mainly caused by the difference in water osmotic pressure and na+concentration inside and outside the cross-linked molecular structure of the resin,which is not only consistent with the quasi-secondary kinetic model,but also with the Fick diffusion model.

[Objectives]This study was conducted to understand the structure and function of MsrA protein.[Methods]With Vibrio alginolyticus HY9901 as the object of study,primers were designed to amplify the full-length gene of msrA,and its bioinformatics analysis was carried out.[Results]The full length of msrA gene was 639 bp,encoding 212 amino acids,and its theoretical molecular weight was about 23729.60 *** protein had a stable structure,and it was hydrophobic *** structure of signal peptides at the N terminal of the amino acid sequence was predicted,and it was found that there was no signal peptide cleavage site and no transmembrane *** amino acid sequence of MsrA contained multiple signal binding *** subcellular localization showed that MsrA protein was most likely located in the *** analysis showed that MsrA of *** had high homology with other Vibrio species,and the highest homology with *** the prediction of functional domains,MsrA had the function of methionine sulfoxide *** secondary structure prediction,MsrA contained random coils at a proportion of 46.70%,which was the *** similarity between the tertiary structure model of MsrA and template Q87SW6.1.A was 89.15%.PTM analysis showed that MsrA protein had many PTM modification sites such as phosphorylation and glycosylation sites.[Conclusions]This study provides some reference value for further study on the role of MsrA in bacterial antioxidant stress.
