After long-term development, mathematical geology has today become an independent discipline. Big Data science, which has become a new scientific paradigm in the 21st century, gives rise to the geological Big Data, i.e. mathematical geology and quantitative geoscience. Thanks to a robust macro strategy for big data, China＇s quantitative geoscience and geological big data＇s rapid development meets present requirements and has kept up with international levels. This paper presents China＇s decade-long achievements in quantitative prediction and assessment of mineral resources, geoscience information and software systems, geological information platform development, etc., with an emphasis on application of geological big data in informatics, quantitative mineral prediction, geological environment and disaster management, digital land survey, digital city, etc. Looking ahead, mathematical geology is moving towards ＂Digital Geology＂, ＂Digital Land＂ and ＂Geological Cloud＂, eventually realizing China＇s grand ＂Digital China＂ blueprint, and these valuable results will be showcased on the international academic arena.

The use of supported Co-based catalysts is widespread in various catalytic reactions due to their unique *** structural sensitivity of these catalysts is closely linked to their particle size and crystal ***,comprehending the structure–activity relationship requires the development of well-defined Co-based ***,we employed a colloidal wet chemical process and a heterogeneous nucleation method to prepare well-defined Co-based catalysts supported by inert carbon *** nanospheres’surface possesses abundant functional groups that efficiently capture metal complexes and facilitate the nucleation and growth of CoO *** adjusting the Co source concentration,solvent molar ratio,and nucleation growth kinetics,we successfully prepared CoO/carbon sphere(CS)catalysts with different particle sizes and crystal *** influence of metallic face-centered cubic(fcc)-Co^(0) particle size in the range of 6.6–17.6 nm on the performance of Fischer–Tropsch synthesis(FTS)using well-defined CoO/CS catalysts has been *** result demonstrated that the turnover frequency(TOF)remained constant for CoO/CS catalysts with metallic fcc-Co^(0) particle size larger than 7.7 ***,both the selectivity and the activity changed for CoO/CS catalysts with smaller particles(<7.7 nm).Significantly,when metallic fcc-Co^(0) particle size was reduced from 17.6 to 7.7 nm,the cobalt time yield increased to 6.7μmolCO·gCo^(-1)·s^(-1),indicating improved catalytic *** the same time,the CH_(4) selectivity decreased to 4.9%,suggesting a higher preference for hydrocarbon *** findings demonstrate the importance of particle size in Co catalyzed Fischer–Tropsch *** use of well-defined CoO/CS catalysts offers valuable insights into the structure–activity relationship,leading to a better understanding of Co catalyzed Fischer–Tropsch synthesis.

A new binuclear cage-like yttrium(Ⅲ) complex Y2(TMBA)6(phen)2(1) with yttrium nitrate, 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoic acid(TMBA) and 1,10-phenanthroline(phen) was synthesized. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with a = 11.9086(15), b = 12.4843(17), c = 14.2101(18) ?, α = 104.977(4), β = 111.750(4), γ = 95.874(5)o, V = 1848.8(4) ?3, Dc = 1.363 g/cm3, Z = 1, μ(Mo Ka) = 1.627, F(000) = 788, the final GOOF = 1.039, R = 0.0353 and w R = 0.0826. The whole molecule consists of two yttrium ions bridged by four 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoic acid anions. The Y(Ⅲ) ion is coordinated by eight atoms to give a distorted square antiprism coordination geometry. The TG analysis and fluorescent properties of 1 were studied.

Main text Gastric cancer (GC) is the fourth most common cancer worldwide [1], with approximately 50% of GC cases and deaths occurring in China [2]. Gastrectomies have the potential to remove all visible tumor tissues and obtain histologically free-margins, which have shown to provide curative reliability in patients with early-stage GC [3, 4]. However, < 25% of GC cases are diagnosed with early- stage disease. The survival of the remaining patients falls below 50% [5], even though after undergoing D2 gastrec-tomy or acquired targeted therapy [6, 7];thereby prompt-ing more commitment in finding other alternatives in the hope of improving the patient outcomes. Results from two landmark trials in 2001 and 2006 have demonstrated that adjuvant therapies using post-operative chemo- radiotherapy and perioperative chemotherapy (CT) were effective therapeutic options [8, 9]. Currently, both of them are accepted standards of care in the West.

Stimulus-responsive polymers containing dynamic bonds enable fascinating properties of self-healing,recycling and reprocessing due to enhanced relaxation of polymer chain/network with labile ***,we study the structure and properties of a new type of thermoplastic polyurethanes(TPUs)with trapped dynamic covalent bonds in the hard-phase domain and report the frustrated relaxation of TPUs containing weak dynamic bond andπ-πinteraction in hard *** detected by rheometry,the aromatic TPUs with alkyl disulfide in the hard segments possess the maximum network relaxation time in contrast to those without dynamic bonds and alicyclic *** situ FTIR and small-angle scattering results reveal that the alkyl disulfide facilitates stronger intermolecular interaction and more stable micro-phase morphology inπ-πinteraction based aromatic *** dynamics simulation for pure hard segments of model molecules verify that the presence of disulfide bonds leads to strongerπ-πstacking of aromatic rings due to both enhanced assembling thermodynamics and *** enhancedπ-πpacking and micro-phase structure in TPUs further kinetically immobilize the dynamic *** kinetically interlocking between the weak dynamic bonds and strong molecular interaction in hard segments leads to much slower network relaxation of *** work provides a new insight in tuning the network relaxation and heat resistance as well as molecular self-assembly in stimulus-responsive dynamic polymers by both molecular design and micro-phase control toward the functional applications of advanced materials.

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based edge computing is an emerging technology that provides fast task processing for a wider area. To address the issues of limited computation resource of a single UAV and finite communication resource in multi-UAV networks, this paper joints consideration of task offloading and wireless channel allocation on a collaborative multi-UAV computing network, where a high altitude platform station (HAPS)is adopted as the relay device for communication between UAV clusters consisting of UAV cluster heads (ch-UAVs) and mission UAVs (m-UAVs). We propose an algorithm, jointing task offloading and wireless channel allocation to maximize the average service success rate (ASSR)of a period time. In particular,the simulated annealing(SA)algorithm with random perturbations is used for optimal channel allocation,aiming to reduce interference and minimize transmission delay.A multi-agent deep deterministic policy gradient (MADDPG) is proposed to get the best task offloading strategy. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the SA algorithm in channel allocation. Meanwhile,when jointly considering computation and channel resources,the proposed scheme effectively enhances the ASSR in comparison to other benchmark algorithms.

MaMADS1-MaNAC083 transcriptional regulatory cascade regulates ethylene biosynthesis during banana fruit ripening

The hormone ethylene is crucial in the regulation of ripening in climacteric fruit,such as *** transcriptional regulation of ethylene biosynthesis throughout banana fruit ripening has received much study,but the cascaded transcriptional machinery of upstream transcriptional regulators implicated in the ethylene biosynthesis pathway is still poorly *** we report that ethylene biosynthesis genes,including MaACS1,MaACO1,MaACO4,MaACO5,and MaACO8,were upregulated in ripening ***(NAM,ATAF,CUC)transcription factor,MaNAC083,a ripening and ethylene-inhibited gene,was discovered as a potential binding protein to the MaACS1 promoter by yeast one-hybrid *** in vitro and in vivo experiments indicated that MaNAC083 bound directly to promoters of the five ethylene biosynthesis genes,thereby transcriptionally repressing their expression,which was further verified by transient overexpression experiments,where ethylene production was inhibited through MaNAC083-modulated transcriptional repression of ethylene biosynthesis genes in banana ***,MaMADS1,a ripening-induced MADS(MCM1,AGAMOUS,DEFICIENS,SRF4)transcription factor,was found to directly repress the expression of MaNAC083,inhibiting trans-repression of MaNAC083 to ethylene biosynthesis genes,thereby attenuating MaNAC083-repressed ethylene production in *** findings collectively illustrated the mechanistic basis of a MaMADS1-MaNAC083-MaACS1/MaACOs regulatory cascade controlling ethylene biosynthesis during banana fruit *** findings increase our knowledge of the transcriptional regulatory mechanisms of ethylene biosynthesis at the transcriptional level and are expected to help develop molecular approaches to control ripening and improve fruit storability.

Many efforts have been devoted to efficient task scheduling in Multi-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)edge ***,the heterogeneity of UAV computation resource,and the task re-allocating between UAVs have not been fully considered ***,most existing works neglect the fact that a task can only be executed on the UAV equipped with its desired service function(SF).In this backdrop,this paper formulates the task scheduling problem as a multi-objective task scheduling problem,which aims at maximizing the task execution success ratio while minimizing the average weighted sum of all tasks’completion time and energy *** three coupled goals in a realtime manner with the dynamic arrival of tasks hinders us from adopting existing methods,like machine learning-based solutions that require a long training time and tremendous pre-knowledge about the task arrival process,or heuristic-based ones that usually incur a long decision-making *** tackle this problem in a distributed manner,we establish a matching theory framework,in which three conflicting goals are treated as the preferences of tasks,SFs and ***,a Distributed Matching Theory-based Re-allocating(DiMaToRe)algorithm is put *** formally proved that a stable matching can be achieved by our *** simulation results show that Di Ma To Re algorithm outperforms benchmark algorithms under diverse parameter settings and has good robustness.

A Banana PHD-Type Transcription Factor MaPHD1 Represses a Cell Wall-Degradation Gene MaXTH6 during Fruit Ripening

Plant homeobox domain(PHD)-type transcription factors(TFs) are involved in a variety of biological processes. However, its involvement in commercially important fruit ripening process remains largely unclear. In the present work, the characterization of a PHD-type TF termed MaPHD1 from banana fruit is reported. Multiple alignments of the deduced amino acid sequence revealed that Ma PHD1 showed a high homology with Arabidopsis thaliana Alfin1-like proteins belonging to plant-specific sub-family of PHD finger proteins. MaPHD1 was found localized in the nucleus and exhibited trans-repression ability. It was down-regulated by ethylene and ripening. Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assay(EMSA) and transient expression analysis demonstrated that Ma PHD1 directly bound to the G-rich motifs in the promoter of Ma XTH6, which is associated with cell wall degradation, and subsequently repressed its expression. These findings suggest that MaPHD1 may be negatively associated with banana fruit ripening, at least in part, by the direct suppression of Ma XTH6. Taken together, these findings provide new insights into the transcriptional regulatory networks of banana fruit ripening.
