Iron-sul.ur clusters(ISC)are essential cofactors for proteins involved in various biological processes,such as electron transport,biosynthetic reactions,DNA repair,and gene expression *** assembly protein IscA1(or MagR)is found within the mitochondria of most ***(MagR)is a highly conserved A-type iron and iron-sul.ur cluster-binding protein,characterized by two distinct types of iron-sul.ur clusters,[2Fe-2S]and[3Fe-4S],each conferring unique magnetic *** forms a rod-like polymer structure in complex with photoreceptive cryptochrome(Cry)and serves as a putative magnetoreceptor for retrieving geomagnetic information in animal *** the N-terminal sequences of MagR vary among species,their specific function remains *** the present study,we found that the N-terminal sequences of pigeon MagR,previously thought to serve as a mitochondrial targeting signal(MTS),were not cleaved following mitochondrial entry but instead modulated the efficiency with which iron-sul.ur clusters and irons are ***,the N-terminal region of MagR was required for the formation of a stable MagR/Cry ***,the N-terminal sequences in pigeon MagR fulfil more important functional roles than just mitochondrial *** results further extend our understanding of the function of MagR and provide new insights into the origin of magnetoreception from an evolutionary perspective.

DCFNet:Discriminant Correlation Filters Network for Visual Tracking

CNN(convolutional neural network)based real time trackers usually do not carry out online network update in order to maintain rapid tracking *** inevitably influences the adaptability to changes in object *** filter based trackers can update the model parameters online in real *** this paper,we present an end-to-end lightweight network architecture,namely Discriminant Correlation Filter Network(DCFNet).A differentiable DCF(discriminant correlation filter)layer is incorporated into a Siamese network architecture in order to learn the convolutional features and the correlation filter *** correlation filter can be efficiently updated *** previous work,we introduced a joint scale-position space to the DCFNet,forming a scale DCFNet which carries out the predictions of object scale and position *** combine the scale DCFNet with the convolutional-deconvolutional network,learning both the high-level embedding space representations and the low-level fine-grained representations for *** adaptability of the fine-grained correlation analysis and the generalization capability of the semantic embedding are complementary for visual *** back-propagation is derived in the Fourier frequency domain throughout the entire work,preserving the efficiency of the *** evaluations on the OTB(Object Tracking Benchmark)and VOT(Visual Object Tracking Challenge)datasets demonstrate that the proposed trackers have fast speeds,while maintaining tracking accuracy.

为提高基于激光雷达的飞机尾流探测反演精度,根据扫描出的径向风速数据,建立了基于Kolmogorov结构函数的大气背景湍流耗散率(EDR)估计方法;然后基于两阶段消散预测模型,计入湍流对尾流消散过程的影响,实现基于历史探测数据的尾涡强度环量和涡核运动趋势的预测;通过环境探测数据与预测模型的结合,提高尾涡特性参数的反演精度。研究表明,相较于反演算法,采用本文模型预测的尾涡轨迹在径向距离和角度的精度上分别提高了59.5%、64.8%。

Insufficient therapeutic strategies for acute kidney injury(AKI)necessitate precision therapy targeting its *** study reveals the new mechanism of the marine-derived anti-AKI agent,piericidin glycoside S14,targeting peroxiredoxin 1(PRDX1).By binding to Cys83 of PRDX1 and augmenting its peroxidase activity,S14 alleviates kidney injury efficiently in Prdx1-overexpression(Prdx1-OE)***,S14 also increases PRDX1 nuclear translocation and directly activates the Nrf2/HO-1/NQO1 pathway to inhibit ROS *** to the limited druggability of S14 with low bioavailability(2.6%)and poor renal distribution,a pH-sensitive kidney-targeting dodecanaminechitosan nanoparticle system is constructed to load S14 for precise treatment of AKI.l-Serine conjugation to chitosan imparts specificity to kidney injury molecule-1(Kim-1)-overexpressed *** developed S14-nanodrug exhibits higher therapeutic efficiency by improving the in vivo behavior of S14 *** encapsulation with micelles,the AuC_(0-t),half-life time,and renal distribution of S14 increase 2.5-,1.8-,and 3.1-fold,*** main factors contributing to the improved druggability of S14 nanodrugs include the lower metabolic elimination rate and uDPglycosyltransferase(uGT)-mediated *** summary,this study identifies a new therapeutic target for the marine-derived anti-AKI agent while enhancing its ADME properties and druggability through nanotechnology,thereby driving advancements in marine drug development for AKI.

Objective little is known about the association between whole-blood nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD^(+))levels and nabothian *** study aimed to assess the association between NAD^(+)levels and nabothian cysts in healthy Chinese *** Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to analyze the association between NAD^(+)levels and nabothian *** The mean age was 43.0±11.5 years,and the mean level of NAD^(+)was 31.3±5.3μmol/*** cysts occurred in 184(27.7%)participants,with single and multiple cysts in 100(15.0%)and84(12.6%)participants,*** total nabothian cyst prevalence gradually decreased from37.4%to 21.6%from Q1 to Q4 of NAD^(+)and the prevalence of single and multiple nabothian cysts also decreased across the NAD^(+)*** compared with the highest NAD^(+)quartile(≥34.4μmol/l),the adjusted odds ratios with 95%confidence interval of the NAD^(+)Q1 was 1.89(1.14–3.14)for total nabothian *** risk of total and single nabothian cysts linearly decreased with increasing NAD^(+)levels,while the risk of multiple nabothian cysts decreased more rapidly at NAD^(+)levels of 28.0 to35.0μmol/***:low NAD^(+)levels were associated with an increased risk of total and multiple nabothian cysts.

Backscatter communications will play an important role in connecting everything for beyond 5G(B5G)and 6G *** open challenge for backscatter communications is that the signals suffer a round-trip path loss so that the communication distance is *** this paper,we first cal.ulate the communication distance upper bounds for both uplink and downlink by measuring the tag sensitivity and reflection *** is found that the activation voltage of the envelope detection diode of the downlink tag is the main factor limiting the back-scatter communication *** on this analysis,we then propose to implement a low-noise amplifier(lNA)module before the envelope detection at the tag to enhance the incident signal *** experimental results on the hardware platform show that our method can increase the downlink communication range by nearly 20 m.

An increasing number of social media and networking platforms have been widely used. People usually post the online comments to share their own opinions on the networking platforms with social media. Business companies are increasingly seeking effective ways to mine what people think and feel regarding their products and services. How to correctly understand the online customers’ reviews becomes an important issue. This study aims to propose a method with the aspect-oriented Petri nets(AOPN) to improve the examination correctness without changing any process and program. We collect those comments from the online reviews with Scrapy tools, perform sentiment analysis using SnowNlP, and examine the analysis results to improve the correctness. In this paper, we apply our method for a case of the online movie comments. The experimental results have shown that AOPN is helpful for the sentiment analysis and verifying its correctness.

Distinct Effects of Three Tea Varieties Made Green Teas on Improving Diabetic Dyslipidemia Induced by High-Fat Diet in C57Bl/6J Mice

Currently， cultivated tea plants are classified into three varieties， namely， C. sinensis var. sinensis， C. sinensis var. assamica， and C. sinensis var. kucha. Three tea varieties made green teas (TVGTs) are widely consumed worldwide. However， a comparative investigation of the beneficial effects， mechanism， and characteristic compounds of TVGTs has not been reported. Here， three representative tea plant varieties， namely， C. sinensis var. sinensis cv. Fuding (FD)， C. sinensis var. assamica cv. Yunkang 10 (YK)， and C. sinensis var. kucha (KC)， planted in the same garden， were used to make green teas utilizing the same standard procedure. Our findings show that the TVGTs effectively improved hyperglycemia， obesity， dyslipidemia， fatty liver， and mesenteric artery (MA) hypercontractility in mice with diabetes and obesity induced by a high-fat diet (HFD) after 11- and 22-week interventions， with YK being the most effective at 22 weeks. liver lipidomics indicated that the TVGTs restored the glycerophospholipid and sphingolipid balance and reduced triglycerides， with YK demonstrating superior effects. The TVGTs， particularly YK， suppressed triglyceride synthesis through the ARV1-FXR-SHP-SREBP-1c pathway. A chemical profile analysis revealed that YK green tea had enriched active compounds， including caffeine， quinic acid， l-theanine， gallic acid， and catechins， compared with FD and KC green teas， which may contribute to ameliorating diabetic dyslipidemia via synergistic action. As a representative tea variety of C. sinensis var. assamica， YK green tea was found to be superior to the other two green teas in preventing and treating diabetic dyslipidemia， especially with long-term consumption. These data provide important information for tea plant breeders and tea consumers.

Controlling cooperativity of a metastable open system coupled weakly to a noisy environment

The notion of cooperativity comprises a specific characteristic of a multipartite system concerning its ability to demonstrate a sigmoidal-type response of varying sensitivities to input stimuli in transitions between states under controlled *** a statistical physics viewpoint,in this work we attempt to describe the cooperativity by the stability of a metastable open system with respect to *** treat the evolution of a system weakly coupled to the environment in a kinetic framework,we consider two fluctuating energy levels of different dimensionalities,initial population of one level,reversible transitions of population between the levels,and irreversible depopulation of another *** average is made over level fluctuations and environment vibrations so that an inter-level transition rate can be obtained accounting for the influences of external control on level position and *** is found that the cooperativity of the two-level system is bounded approximately between 0.736 and unity,with the lower bound indicating worsening system stability.

We used the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)to search for the molecular emissions in the l-band between 1.0 and 1.5 GHz toward four comets,C/2020 F3(NEOWISE),C/2020 R4(ATlAS),C/2021 A1(leonard),and 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko during or after their perihelion *** of molecular transition lines fall in this low-frequency range,many attributed to complex organic or prebiotic *** conducted a blind search for the possible molecular lines in this frequency range in those comets and could not identify clear signals of molecular emissions in the *** several molecules have been detected at high frequencies of greater than100 GHz in comets,our results confirm that it is challenging to detect molecular transitions in the l-band frequency *** non-detection of l-band molecular lines in the cometary environment could rule out the possibility of unusually strong lines,which could be caused by the masers or non-lTE *** the line strengths are predicted to be weak,for FAST,using the ultra-wide bandwidth receiver and improving the radio frequency interference environments would enhance the detectability of those molecular transitions at low frequencies in the future.
