BACKGROUND Over the last few decades,3 pathogenic pandemics have impacted the global population;severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus(SARS-CoV),Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus(MERS-CoV)and *** global disease burden has attributed to millions of deaths and morbidities,with the majority being attributed to *** such,the evaluation of the mental health(MH)impact across healthcare professionals(HCPs),patients and the general public would be an important facet to evaluate to better understand short,medium and long-term *** To identify and report:(1)MH conditions commonly observed across all 3 pandemics;(2)Impact of MH outcomes across HCPs,patients and the general public associated with all 3 pandemics;and(3)The prevalence of the MH impact and clinical epidemiological *** A systematic methodology was developed and published on PROSPERO(CRD42021228697).The databases PubMed,EMBASE,ScienceDirect and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials were used as part of the data extraction process,and publications from January 1,1990 to August 1,2021 were *** terms and keywords used included Mood disorders,PTSD,Anxiety,Depression,Psychological stress,Psychosis,Bipolar,Mental Health,Unipolar,Self-harm,BAME,Psychiatry disorders and Psychological *** terms were expanded with a‘snowballing’***-regression and the Monte-Carlo simulation method was used in addition to I2 and Egger’s tests to determine heterogeneity and publication *** In comparison to MERS and SARS-CoV,it is evident SAR-CoV-2 has an ongoing MH impact,with emphasis on depression,anxiety and post-traumatic stress *** It was evident MH studies during MERS and SARS-CoV was limited in comparison to SARS-CoV-2,with much emphasis on reporting symptoms of depression,anxiety,stress and sleep *** lack of comprehensive studies conducted during previous pandemics have introduced limitations to the

Hydroponic farming is a viable and economical farming method,which can produce safe and healthy greens and vegetables conveniently and at a relatively low *** is essential to provide supplemental lighting for crops grown in greenhouses to meet the daily light requirement,Daily Light Integral(DLI).The present paper investigates how effectively and efficiently LEDs can be used as a light source in *** is important for a hydroponic grower to assess the requirement of photo synthetically active radiation(PAR)or the Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density(PPFD),in a greenhouse,and adjust the quality and quantity of supplemental lighting accordingly.A Quantum sensor(or PAR sensor)can measure PAR more accurately than a digital light meter,which measures the light intensity or illuminance in the SI unit Lux,but a PAR sensor is relatively expensive and normally not affordable by an ordinary ***,based on the present investigation and experimental results,a very simple way to convert light intensity measured with a Lux meter into PAR is proposed,using a simple conversion factor(41.75 according to the present work).This allows a small-scale hydroponic farmer to use a simple and inexpensive technique to assess the day to day DLI values of PAR in a greenhouse accurately using just an inexpensive light *** present paper also proposes a more efficient way of using LED light panels in a hydroponic *** moving the LED light panels closer to the crop,LED light source can use a fewer number of LEDs to produce the same required daily light requirement and can increase the efficiency of the power usage to more than 80%.Specifically,the present work has determined that it is important to design more efficient vertically movable LED light panels with capabilities of switching individual LEDs on and off,for the use in *** allows a user to control the number of LEDs that can be lit at a particular time,as *** doing so it is possible to i

Extra-adrenal chromaffin cell-related tumours or paragangliomas are rare, especially in the bladder. In this article, we reported three different clinical cases of bladder paraganglioma, followed by a review of current literature on the pathophysiology and management of bladder paraganglioma. Case 1 involved a 23 years old female patient who complained of a 10-year history of micturition-related headaches, palpitations and diaphoresis; while in case 2, a 58 years old female patient presented with history of painless haematuria and an incidentally diagnosis of a functioning paraganglioma during endoscopic transurethral resection of bladder tumour; and lastly in case 3, a 54 years old male renal transplant recipient was referred to the urology outpatient with a suspicious bladder mass found incidentally on routine transplant workshop.

Consumers hesitate to purchase field-grown shoot-tops of amaranths in Sri Lanka,citing the low-cleanliness making growers focus on greenhouse ***,the photosynthetic and growth variations in relation to the organoleptic preference of the greenhouse-grown amaranths in comparison to field-grown counterparts have not been ***,the species delimits of the amaranths in Sri Lanka have not been identified,limiting our ability to interpret species-specific production ***,we assessed the common types of amaranths under greenhouse and field *** photosynthesis was measured using a MultispeQ device of the PhotosynQ phenomic platform,which records chlorophyll fluorescence-based *** shoot-tops were harvested and prepared as dishes according to the typical recipe for amaranths in Sri *** dishes were subjected to an organoleptic assessment for the parameters color,aroma,bitterness,texture,and overall *** differences in plant and the shoot-top biomass were also *** markers atpB-rbcL,matk-trnT,and ITS were used to define the species *** field-grown and greenhouse-grown amaranths exhibited species/cultivar-specific photosynthetic *** texture and overall taste of the dishes were different among greenhouse and field-grown *** tasters preferred the texture and the overall taste of the greenhouse-grown *** greenhouse-grown plants also yielded higher shoot-top harvests compared to field-grown *** of the tested markers,ITS defines the delimits of amaranth *** higher organoleptic preference,the appreciable yield levels,unique photosynthetic patterns of the greenhouse-grown amaranths,and species definitions provide the much-needed platform for clean shoot-top production guaranteeing the highest end-user trust.
