Aim:Anterolateral thigh(ALT)flap is widely used in reconstruction of various *** imaging facilitates perforator mapping,overcoming intraoperative *** purpose of this study was to investigate the utility of multi-detector row computed tomography angiography(MDCTA)and a handheld Doppler in locating ALT ***:Twenty patients were randomized into two *** 1 patients received MDCTA and Doppler studies whereas Group 2 received only a Doppler *** number,location,course,and source of all cutaneous and sizable perforators were compared with intraoperative ***’stress levels during flap harvest and flap harvest time were ***:MDCTA findings correlated well with intraoperative findings for perforator type and segmental distribution with 100%*** alone had a 52%rate of *** sensitivity and specificity for MDCTA in demonstrating the presence of perforators were 85.71%and 97.22%,respectively;whereas for Doppler alone the sensitivity and specificity were 80%and 87.91%,*** demonstrating perforator source,MDCTA showed a sensitivity of 100%and specificity of 91.66%,with 100%*** and specificity for sizable perforators were 90%each,with 88.88%*** studies were unable to provide this *** of surgeon stress levels showed no differences between the two groups,although the time for flap harvest was significantly shorter in Group ***:MDCTA compared to Doppler is more sensitive,specific,and accurate with respect to location,course,and source of perforators.

3,4-Dihydroxy L-phenylalanine(L-DOPA)is considered a potent drug for the treatment of Parkinson *** and nutritional parameters where optimized by using Yarrowia lipolytica-nCIM 3450 to accomplished the highest production of *** of critical components were completed by using a Plackett–Burman design,while further optimization was carried out using the Box–Behnken *** optimized factor levels predicted by the model were pH 6.1,1.659 g L^(-1)yeast extract,1.491 g L^(-1)L-tyrosine and 0.0290 g L^(-1)*** predicted yield of L-DOPA with these levels was 1.319 g L^(-1),while actual yield obtained was 1.273 g L^(-1).The statistical analysis revealed that model is significant with F value 19.55 and R2 value *** process resulted in a 3.594-fold increase in the yield of LDOPA.L-DOPA was confirmed by HPTLC and HPLC ***,Yarrowia lipolytica-nCIM 3450 has potential to be a new source for the production of L-DOPA.

Evaluation of L-dopa,proximate composition with in vitro anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity of Mucuna macrocarpa beans:A future drug for Parkinson treatment

Objective: To investigate L-3, 4-dihydroxyphenylalanine(L-dopa, anti-Parkinson drug),anti-inflammatory activity, proximate nutritional composition and antioxidant potential of Mucuna macrocarpa(M. macrocarpa) ***: L-dopa content was determined and quantified by high performance thin layer chromatography and reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography(RPHPLC) methods. Anti-inflammatory activity was performed by in vitro protein denaturation inhibition and human red blood cell membrane stabilisation activity. Proximate composition and elemental analysis were also investigated. The antioxidant potential(2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl, n-n-dimethyl-phenylenediamine and ferric-reducing antioxidant power) of M. macrocarpa beans were evaluated by using different extraction solvents. The RP-HPLC analysis also quantified significant phenolics such as gallic acid, tannic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid and p-coumaric ***: RP-HPLC quantification revealed that M. macrocarpa beans contain a high level of L-dopa [(115.41 ± 0.985) mg/g] which was the highest among the Mucuna species from Indian sub-continent. Water extract of seed powder showed strong antiinflammatory and antioxidant potential. Proximate composition of M. macrocarpa beans revealed numerous nutritional and anti-nutritional components. RP-HPLC analysis of major phenolics such as tannic acid(43.795 mg/g), gallic acid(0.864 mg/g), p-coumaric acid(0.364 mg/g) and p-hydroxybenzoic acid(0.036 mg/g) quantified successfully from M. macrocarpa beans ***: This study suggests that M. macrocarpa is a potential source of L-dopa with promising anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and nutritional benefits.

Simultaneous observations for the total column densities of nO2,O3 and H2O were carried on using the portable Spectrometer (438-450 nm and 400-450 nm) and the visible Spectrometer (544.4-628 nm) during premonsoon thunderstorms and embedded hail storm activity at Pune (18°32'n & 73°51'E),*** observations confirm the fact that there is an increase in O3 and nO2 column densities during *** increase in O3 was observed following onset of thunderstorm,while the increase in nO2 was observed only after the thunder flashes *** implies that the production mechanisms for O3 and nO2 in thunderstorm are *** observed column density of nO,value (1 to 3×1017molecules cm-2) during thunderstorm activity is 10 to 30 times higher than the value (1×10th molecules cm-2) of a normal day total column *** spectrometric observations and observations of thunder flashes by electric field meter showed that 6.4×1025molecules/flash of nO2 are *** increased to-oil column density of ozone during thunderstorm period is 1.2 times higher than normal (clear) day ozone *** multiple scattering in the clouds is estimated from H2O and O2 absorption bands in the visible spectral region Considering this effect the calculated amount of ozone added in the global atmosphere due to thunderstorm activity is 0.26 to 0 52 DU,and the annual production of ozone due to thunderstorm activity is of the order of 4.02×10 molecules/year The annual nO2 production may be of the order of 2.02×1035molecules/year.

聚酯纱线的生产过程中,常通过热定型工艺获得稳定的纱线结构。热定型工艺对变形纱的拉伸力学性能有着广泛的影响。研究旨在开发一种可用于织制花式服装面料的变形纱。工艺中特别使用了2台加热器:1台长1.60m的标准型主加热器和1台长1.25m的次加热器,分别带有12个和24个端头。采用差热分析(DTA)法测试了变形纱的结晶性和结晶熔融温度,所得数据为解释相关结论提供必要的依据。此外,报道了变形纱的拉伸力学性能。
