Estimation of crowd count is becoming crucial nowadays,as it can help in security surveillance,crowd monitoring,and management for different *** is challenging to determine the approximate crowd size from an image of the crowd’s *** in this research study,we proposed a multi-headed convolutional neural network architecture-based model for crowd counting,where we divided our proposed model into two main components:(i)the convolutional neural network,which extracts the feature across the whole image that is given to it as an input,and(ii)the multi-headed layers,which make it easier to evaluate density maps to estimate the number of people in the input image and determine their number in the *** employed the available public benchmark crowd-counting datasets UCF CC 50 and shanghaiTech parts A and B for model training and testing to validate the model’s *** analyze the results,we used two metrics Mean Absolute Error(MAE)and Mean square Error(MsE),and compared the results of the proposed systems with the state-of-art models of crowd *** results show the superiority of the proposed system.

In this paper,new four fifth-order fractional nonlinear equations are derived and *** frac-tional terms are defined in the conformable sense and these equations are then solved using two effective methods,namely,the sub-equation and the generalized Kudryashov *** methods were tested on the proposed models and succeeded in finding new solutions with different values of parameters.A graphical representation of some results is provided and proves the efficiency and applicability of the proposed methods for providing solutions with known physical *** methods are good candi-dates for solving other similar problems in the future.

Background Resuscitation can sometimes be futile and making a do-not-resuscitate(DNR)decision is in the best interest of the *** electronic poor outcome screening(ePOs)score was developed to predict 6-month poor outcomes of critically ill *** explored the diagnostic accuracy of the ePOs score in predicting DNR decisions in the intensive care unit(ICU).Methods This study was conducted at the ICU of a tertiary referral hospital in saudi Arabia between March and May ***,we calculated ePOs scores for all eligible consecutive admissions after 48 h in the ICU and recorded the DNR *** ability of the score to predict DNR was explored using logistic ***'s ideal cut-off value was calculated using the DeLong method,and different diagnostic accuracy measures were generated with corresponding 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Results We enrolled 857 patients,125 received a DNR order and 732 did *** average ePOs score of DNR and non-DNR patients was 28.2±10.7 and 15.2±9.7,*** score,as a predictor of DNR order,had an area under receiver operator characteristic(AUROC)curve of 81.8%(95%CI:79.0 to 84.3,Ps ideal cut-off value>17 was associated with a sensitivity of 87.2(95%CI:80.0 to 92.5,Pspecificity of 63.9(95%CI:60.3 to 67.4,Psitive predictive value of 29.2(95%CI:24.6 to 33.8,Palue of 96.7(95%CI:95.1 to 98.3,Pstic odds ratio 12.1(95%CI:7.0 to 20.8,Psions In this study,the ePOs score performed well as a diagnostic test for patients who will be labeled as DNR during their ICU stay.A cut-off score>17 may help guide clinical decisions to withhold or commence resuscitative measures.

As the extensive use of cloud computing raises questions about the security of any personal data stored there,cryptography is being used more frequently as a security tool to protect data confidentiality and privacy in the cloud environment.A hypervisor is a virtualization software used in cloud hosting to divide and allocate resources on various pieces of *** choice of hypervisor can significantly impact the performance of cryptographic operations in the cloud *** important issue that must be carefully examined is that no hypervisor is completely superior in terms of performance;Each hypervisor should be examined to meet specific *** main objective of this study is to provide accurate results to compare the performance of Hyper-V and Kernel-based Virtual Machine(KVM)while implementing different cryptographic algorithms to guide cloud service providers and end users in choosing the most suitable hypervisor for their cryptographic *** study evaluated the efficiency of two hypervisors,Hyper-V and KVM,in implementing six cryptographic algorithms:Rivest,shamir,Adleman(RsA),Advanced Encryption standard(AEs),Triple Data Encryption standard(TripleDEs),Carlisle Adams and stafford Tavares(CAsT-128),BLOWFIsH,and *** study’s findings show that KVM outperforms Hyper-V,with 12.2%less Central Processing Unit(CPU)use and 12.95%less time overall for encryption and decryption operations with various file *** study’s findings emphasize how crucial it is to pick a hypervisor that is appropriate for cryptographic needs in a cloud environment,which could assist both cloud service providers and end *** research may focus more on how various hypervisors perform while handling cryptographic workloads.

Air pollution from shipping is becoming a critical issue,particularly in dense hub port *** proposed solution to minimize ship-based emissions at ports is the implementation of an Onshore Power supply(OPs)*** allows ships to shut off their auxiliary engines and instead connect to the port *** there have been numerous studies conducted on ports in Europe and the United states,little research has been done on Egyptian ***,this paper aims to investigate the feasibility of implementing OPs at Port said West Port in Egypt,aligning with Egypt Vision 2030’s goals for addressing climate *** research primarily focuses on analyzing data collected from calling ships to generate socio-economic and cost-effectiveness analyses of *** further enhance the environmental benefits of OPs,the paper proposes the use of solar energy as the OPs electricity *** findings of the study revealed that by relying on the national grid,emissions can be reduced by 28%.Moreover,it is predicted that this reduction could reach 100%if electricity generation is solely based on solar ***,the economic analysis demonstrates promising profitability,with a payback period of approximately two years.

Background As the most widely cultivated fiber crop,cotton production depends on hybridization to unlock the yield potential of current varieties.A deep understanding of genetic dissection is crucial for the cultivation of enhanced hybrid plants with desired traits,such as high yield and fine fiber *** this study,the general combining ability(GCA)and specific combining ability(sCA)of yield and fiber quality of nine cotton parents(six lines and three testers)and eighteen F1 crosses produced using a line×tester mating design were *** The results revealed significant effects of genotypes,parents,crosses,and interactions between parents and crosses for most of the studied ***,the effects of both additive and non-additive gene actions played a notably significant role in the inheritance of most of the yield and fiber quality *** F1 hybrids of(Giza 90×Aust)×Giza 86,Uzbekistan 1×Giza 97,and Giza 96×Giza 97 demonstrated superior performance due to their favorable integration of high yield attributes and premium fiber quality *** analysis revealed that lint yield has the highest positive direct effect on seed cotton yield,while lint percentage showed the highest negative direct effect on seed cotton *** component analysis identified specific parents and hybrids associated with higher cotton yield,fiber quality,and other agronomic *** This study provides insights into identifying potential single-and three-way cross hybrids with superior cotton yield and fiber quality characteristics,laying a foundation for future research on improving fiber quality in cotton.

Deep learning has been broadly applied to imaging in scattering applications.A common framework is to train a descattering network for image recovery by removing scattering *** achieve the best results on a broad spectrum of scattering conditions,individual“expert”networks need to be trained for each ***,the expert’s performance sharply degrades when the testing condition differs from the *** alternative brute-force approach is to train a“generalist”network using data from diverse scattering *** generally requires a larger network to encapsulate the diversity in the data and a sufficiently large training set to avoid ***,we propose an adaptive learning framework,termed dynamic synthesis network(DsN),which dynamically adjusts the model weights and adapts to different scattering *** adaptability is achieved by a novel“mixture of experts”architecture that enables dynamically synthesizing a network by blending multiple experts using a gating *** demonstrate the DsN in holographic 3D particle imaging for a variety of scattering *** show in simulation that our DsN provides generalization across a continuum of scattering *** addition,we show that by training the DsN entirely on simulated data,the network can generalize to experiments and achieve robust 3D *** expect the same concept can find many other applications,such as denoising and imaging in scattering ***,our dynamic synthesis framework opens up a new paradigm for designing highly adaptive deep learning and computational imaging techniques.
