Stripper gas and terminal potential play a key role for the charge state distribution in a tandem pelletron accelerator. The knowledge of this distribution is important for experiments performed on tandem accelerators. The charge state distribution of B, C, Si, Ni, Cu and Au beams is measured by using Ar as stripper gas, and terminal potential is varied from 0.3 to 3.0 MV on 5UDH-2 tandem pelletron accelerator installed at the National Centre for Physics, Islamabad. The individual charge state is measured after the switching magnet at 15° in high-energy portion. It is observed that the higher charge states are stable in the range of lower and middle atomic masses of periodic table, whereas higher atomic mass(Au) shows beam current instability in higher charge states. For carbon,the charge distribution at 1.7 MV terminal potential by varying stripper gas pressure is also studied, which resulted in decreased overall transmission with good current value for higher charge states.

Knowledge on potassium ion(K^+) release from soils makes K fertilizer recommendation more efficient and *** of K^+release under continuous fertilization of no fertilizer(CK), urea(N), triple superphosphate(P), and urea + triple superphosphate(NP) without K fertilizer was investigated in calcareous(chloritic and kaolinitic) soils on the Miandarband Plain in Kermanshah Province of *** results showed that the kinetics of K^+release included an initial reaction and a slow *** phosphateand NH_4^+-induced K^+release followed the same rate process during the rapid(2–192 h) and slow release periods(192–1 090 h).There were no significant differences in the cumulative K^+released from the chloritic and kaolinitic soils among all the *** cumulative K^+released was positively correlated with P adsorption capacity for the chloritic(r = 0.461, P N = CK for the chloritic soils, and N =P > NP > CK for the kaolinitic *** study showed that K fixation potential and P adsorption capacities controlled K^+release from *** information will be helpful for precise fertilizer recommendations for the studied soils.

More than 10 million people are suffering from hepatitis C virus(HCV) in Pakistan,The available treatment option is a combination of interferon and *** response is linked with several factors and also induces a number of side *** searched in *** Medi Net and Coogle Scholar for the articles presenting the effect of interferon plus ribavirin therapy on HCV patients from Pakistan,their side effects and future *** major prevalent HCV genotype in Pakistan is *** interferon alpha plus ribavirin showed sustained virological response of 54%-64%while pegylaled interferon alpha plus ribavirin showed sustained virological response of 58%-75%.IL-28 B CC genotype is linked with better sustained virological *** on patients with HCV genotype 3 infections showed no correlation between treatment response and interferon sensitivity determining region *** therapy is linked with a number of side effects like thyroid *** disorders,weight loss,gastrointestinal tract side effects and neuropsychiatric side *** side effects of clubbing of fingers and seizures were also observed in a couple of *** alpha plus ribavirin therapy showed better response rate in HCV genotype 3 patients from Pakistan with number of side effects.A couple of interferon free therapies are light of hope for the patients living with HCV.

In the present paper we discuss the magnetohydrodynamic （MHD） peristaltic flow of a hyperbolic tangent fluid model in a vertical asymmetric channel under a zero Reynolds number and long wavelength approximation. Exact solution of the temperature equation in the absence of dissipation term has been computed and the analytical ex- pression for stream function and axial pressure gradient are established. The flow is analyzed in a wave frame of reference moving with the velocity of wave. The expression for pressure rise has been computed numerically. The physical features of pertinent parameters are analyzed by plotting graphs and discussed in detail.

Six dicarboxylic acids 3a-3f were synthesized dianhydride 1 with L-aminoacids 2a-2f in a solution of glacial new poly（amide-imide）s PAIs were synthesized from by the reaction of 3,3＇,4,4＇-benzophenonetetracarboxylic acetic acid/pyridine （Py） at refluxing temperature. Then six the direct polycondensation reaction of [N,N＇-（4,4＇- carbonyldiphtaloyl）-bis-L-amino diacid]s with 1,5-bis（4-aminophenyl）penta-l,4-dien-3-one （APPD）. The polymerization reactions produced a series of new optically active PAls with high yield and good inherent viscosity. Also these PAls are optically active and soluble in various organic solvents chromatography for the separation of enantiomeric mixtures. Hepatitis C virus(HCV) is a major global health problem with high morbidity and mortality. About 185 million people are living with HCV,of which 80% are living in low and middle income countries. With the development of new highly effective treatments for HCV,it is considered that the eradication of HCV may only be one step away. The major problem with new treatment options is its high price. The price of sofosbuvir-based treatment for one patient in the United States is US$85000-110000,while the actual production cost of a 12 wk direct-acting antiviral regimen is less than US$250. Another major hindrance in HCV eradication is the lack of quality management of blood transfusion screens. Due to the lack of HCV screening,75% of people in the United States with HCV infection are unaware of their positive HCV status. The control of massive HCV pandemic will require a significant financial investment,political will,and support from medical,pharmaceutical,and civil organizations around the globe.
