Production of the C/TiO_(2)composite with a high-performance electrochemical property from titanium-rich sludge via in-situ C coating

Resource recycling from waste-water and sludge is an important part of the 14th Five-Year Plan in *** emerging titanium-based coagulants have drawn growing attentions due to their strong coagulation capability in water purification and value-added Ti-loaded sludge *** and recovery of the high value-added sludge into functional nanomaterials is highly significant for both sludge reduction and environmental *** present study was carried out to investigate the recycle of the coagulated Ti-loaded sludge to produce functional C/TiO_(2)composites as the anode materials for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).It is the first time that the application of the Ti-loaded wastewater sludge derived C/TiO_(2)was evaluated for *** experimental results showed that the carbon coating through in-situ carbonization of the sludge produced the C/TiO_(2)composites with a high specific surface area,stable structural integrity,and excellent electrochemical properties that would facilitate Li+diffusion in long-term LIBs *** C/TiO_(2)composites calcinated from the polytitanium sulfate-coagulated sludge at 800℃(N_(2))exhibited the best electrochemical performance during the cycling tests(601 m Ah/g at 100 m A/g after 200 cycles).The research work demonstrates the promising prospect of the recycle and value-added utilization of the Ti-loaded sludge in the production of high-performance C/TiO_(2)composites for energy storage *** study provides a new way for the management and reuse of Ti-loaded waste-sludge.

Chromium released during municipal solid waste incineration(MSWI)is toxic and *** removal of chromium from simulated MSWI flue gas by four sorbents(CaO,bamboo charcoal(BC),powdered activated carbon(PAC),and Al_(2)O_(3))and the effects of four oxides(SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),Fe_(2)O_(3),and CaO)on chromium speciation transformationwere *** results showed that the removal rates of total Cr by the four sorbents were Al_(2)O_(3)1000℃due to its strong acidity,and the addition of CaO significantly inhibited the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ).MgCrO_(4)decomposed above 700℃to form MgCr_(2)O_(4),and the reaction between MgCrO_(4)and oxides also existed in the form of a more stable trivalent ***,when investigating the effect of oxides on the oxidation of Cr(Ⅲ)in CrC_(l3),it was discovered that CaO promoted the conversion of Cr(Ⅲ)to Cr(Ⅵ),while the presence of chlorine caused chromium to exist in the form of Cr(V),and increasing the content of CaO and extending the heating time facilitated the oxidation of Cr(Ⅲ).In addition,silicate,aluminate,and ferrite were generated after the addition of SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),and Fe_(2)O_(3),which reduced the alkalinity of CaO and had an important role in inhibiting the oxidation of Cr(Ⅲ).The acidic oxides can not only promote the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)but also have an inhibitory effect on the oxidation of Cr(Ⅲ)ascribed to alkali metals/alkaline earth metals,and the proportion of acidic oxides can be increased moderately to reduce the generation of harmful substances in the hazardous solid waste heat treatment.

＜正＞In this paper,the continuous-time control model is transferred to a digital form based on network QoS,such as network-induced delay and packet dropout,first,and then,the stability of the control system under the nonideal condition is discussed based on linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）.Farther more the discrete-time quadratic performance index is revised to take network-induced delay into *** on the results above,a discrete Linear quadratic regulator （LQR） is designed and network QoS constraints is proposed to guarantee the performance of the control *** satisfy the QoS constraints,a co-design method of control and scheduling is proposed to guarantee both networked control performance and network ***,a series of experiments based on Truetime is present,and the results show that the scheme is effective and necessary.

＜正＞It is a basic issue to assess each node importance in complex *** algorithms are developed to research centralities,for instance degree,betweenness,closeness,eigenvector and eccentricity,which are from different *** the relationships among different centrality are not paid enough *** this paper,we try to explore the relationships of multiple centralities with factor *** BA networks with number of nodes arrange from 5000 to 10000 and a true network---Internet are *** results show that the widely used five centralities in scale-free complex networks are divided to two classes:1) degree,betweenness and eigenvector that mainly reflect the node influences with others;2) closeness and eccentricity related to network *** these analysis results can be used in the objective and accurate assessment of node importance.

Ballistic performances of the hourglass lattice sandwich structures under high-velocity fragments

In this paper,the numerical simulation method is used to study the ballistic performances of hourglass lattice sandwich structures with the same mass under the vertical incidence of *** is paid to elucidating the influences of rod cross-section dimensions,structure height,structure layer,and rod inclination angle on the deformation mode,ballistic performances,and ability to change the ballistic direction of *** results show that the ballistic performances of hourglass lattice sandwich structures are mainly affected by their structural *** this respect,structural parameters optimization of the hourglass lattice sandwich structures enable one to effectively improve their ballistic limit velocity and,consequently,ballistic performances.

Resilience-incorporated seismic risk assessment of precast concrete frames with“dry”connections

A resilience-incorporated risk assessment framework is proposed and demonstrated in this study to manifest the advantageous seismic resilience of precast concrete frame(PCF)structures with“dry”connections in terms of their low damage and rapid *** framework integrates various uncertainties in the seismic hazard,fragility,capacity,demand,loss functions,and post-earthquake *** this study,the PCF structures are distinguished from ordinary reinforced concrete frame(RCF)structures by characterizing multiple limit states for the PCF based on its unique damage ***,probabilistic story-wise pushover analyses are performed to yield story-wise capacities for the predefined limit *** the seismic resilience analysis,a step-wise recovery model is proposed to idealize the functionality recovery process,with separate considerations of the repair and non-repair *** recovery model leverages the economic loss and downtime to delineate the stochastic post-earthquake recovery curves for the resilience loss *** such,contingencies in the probabilistic post-earthquake repairs are incorporated and the empirical judgments on the recovery parameters are largely *** proposed framework is demonstrated through a comparative study between two“dry”connected PCFs and one RCF designed as alternative structural systems for a prototype *** results from the risk quantification indicate that the PCFs show reduced loss hazards and lower expected losses relative to the ***,the PCF equipped with energy dissipation devices at the“dry”connections largely reduces the expected economic loss,downtime,and resilience loss by 29%,56%,and 60%,respectively,compared to the RCF.

New findings on the influence of El Nino events on tropical cyclone formation

Tropical cyclones typically form over warm tropical and subtropical ocean surfaces, as their formation and intensification rely primarily on the energy provided by the ocean. Pioneering research by Gray (1968) revealed that the formation of tropical cyclones requires the sea surface temperature (SST) to be no less than 26.5℃. Consequently, SST is commonly recognized as a crucial parameter among the environmental factors influencing tropical cyclone formation(Gray, 1979;Emanuel and Nolan, 2004).

The CO_(2)reduction into carbon-contained fuel via solar energy offers the powerful tools to realize the zero-emission carbon *** to the intriguing features of the two-dimensional(2D)heterostructures,it is susceptible to modulate the electronic structure as well as the surface geometry for optimizing the photocatalytic CO_(2)*** this perspective,we surveyed the fundamental insights of 2D semiconductor heterostructures,involving the fabrication strategies and classification of the 2D semiconductor ***,we have detailly discussed the overview of 2D semiconductor heterostructure for optimizing CO_(2)photocatalytic influenced factors,including the solar energy utilization,photogenerated carriers separation,and redox reaction ***,we showed the significant advantages of 2D heterostructures in elevating CO_(2)photoreduction performance,focusing on activity,selectivity and *** analyzing the limitations and developments,we ended by putting forward insights into the further researches about the CO_(2)photocatalysts and reactor design,even industrial applications.

Two-layer autonomous intelligence dynamic trajectory planning method based on shield-tunnel ring-geology interactions

To solve the problem that current attitude planning methods do not fully consider the interaction and constraints among the shield,segmental tunnel ring,and geology,and cannot adapt to the changes in the actual engineering environment,or provide feasible long-term and short-term attitude planning,this paper proposes autonomous intelligent dynamic trajectory planning(AI-DTP)to provide tunnel ring and centimeter-layer planning targets for a self-driving shield to meet long-term accuracy and short-term ***-DTP introduces the Frenet coordinate system to solve the problem of inconsistent spatial representation of tunnel data,segmental tunnel ring location,and surrounding geological conditions,designs the long short-term memory attitude prediction model to accurately predict shield attitude change trend based on shield,tunnel,and geology,and uses a heuristic algorithm for trajectory ***-DTP provides ring-layer and centimeter-layer planning objectives that meet the needs of long-term accuracy and short-term correction of shield attitude *** the Hangzhou-Shaoxing Intercity Railroad Tunnel Project in China,the‘‘Zhiyu”shield equipped with the AI-DTP system was faster and more accurate than the manually controlled shield,with a smoother process and better quality of the completed tunnel.
