Semiconductor heterojunction plays a pivotal role in ***,the construction of a heterojunction with a fine microstructure usually requires complex synthetic ***,a pH-adjusted one-step method was employed to controllably synthesize Ag_(4)V_(2)O_(7)/Ag_(3)VO_(4) heterojunction with a well-tuned 0D/1D hierarchical structure for the first *** is noteworthy that the ordered stacking of vanadium oxide tetrahedron(VO_(3)-)guided by the pH value wisely realizes the in-situ growth of Ag_(4)V_(2)O_(7) nanoparticles on the surface of Ag_(3)VO_(4) ***,comprehensive characterization and calculation decipher the electronic structures of Ag_(4)V_(2)O_(7) and Ag_(3)VO_(4) and the formation of Z-scheme heterojunction,benefiting the visible light harvesting and carrier *** a new Ag_(4)V_(2)O_(7)/Ag_(3)VO_(4) heterojunction exhibits remarkable photocatalytic activity and excellent *** degradation of Rhodamine B(RhB)can be achieved in 10 min by the Ag_(4)V_(2)O_(7)/Ag_(3)VO_(4) heterojunction under visible light irradiation,demonstrating an outstanding reaction rate of 0.35 min^(−1) that is up to 84-fold higher than those of other silver *** importantly,this integration of synthesis technology and heterojunction design,based on the intrinsic crystal and electronic structures,could be inspiring for developing novel heterostructured materials with advanced performance.

Isolation and Characterization of Proteins Interacting with Activin Type Ⅱ Receptors

Regulation of the number of aetivin receptors that are present in the cell membrane plays a key role in the modulation of cellular responses to activin. In order to find the regulators, a novel protein ARIPzip, interacting with activin type II receptors, was searched and identified by using yeast two-hybrid screening. ARIPzip is a splicing variant of ARIP2. This has been discussed previously. ARIPzip can specifically interact with ActR Ⅱ A, and is widely distributed in mouse tissues. Overexpression of ARIPzip can cause the activin-induced transcriptional activities to increase in a dose-dependent manner while the overexpression of ARIV2 can decrease these activities. These data suggest that the C-terminal rezions of ARIP2 and ARIPzip are involved in the regulation of activin signaling.

Water-assisted and protein-initiated fast and controlled ring-opening polymerization of proline N-carboxyanhydride

The production of polypeptides via the ring-opening polymerization(ROP) of N-carboxyanhydride(NCA) is usually conducted under stringent anhydrous conditions. The ROP of proline NCA(ProNCA)for the synthesis of poly-L-proline(PLP) is particularly challenging due to the premature product precipitation as polyproline type I helices, leading to slow reactions for up to one week, poor control of the molar mass and laborious workup. Here, we report the unexpected water-assisted controlled ROP of Pro NCA, which affords well-defined PLP as polyproline II helices in 2–5 minutes and almost-quantitative yields. Experimental and theoretical studies together suggest the as-yet-unreported role of water in facilitating proton shift, which significantly lowers the energy barrier of the chain propagation. The scope of initiators can be expanded from hydrophobic amines to encompass hydrophilic amines and thiol-bearing nucleophiles, including complex biomacromolecules such as proteins. Protein-mediated ROP of ProNCA conveniently affords various protein-PLP conjugates via a grafting-from approach. PLP modification not only preserves the biological activities of the native proteins, but also enhances their resistance to extreme conditions. Moreover, PLP modification extends the elimination half-life of asparaginase(ASNase) 18-fold and mitigates the immunogenicity of wt ASNase >250-fold(ASNase is a first-line anticancer drug for lymphoma treatment). This work provides a simple solution to a long-standing problem in PLP synthesis,and offers valuable guidance for the development of water-resistant ROP of other proline-like NCAs. The facile access to PLP can greatly boost the application potential of PLP-based functional materials for engineering industry enzymes and therapeutic proteins.

High-strength metallic foams have a wide range of applications in engineering as lightweight structural and energy-absorbing ***,it is challenging to obtain metallic foam with both good energy absorption performance and high ***,we developed a novel metal matrix syntactic foam fabri-cated with AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1) eutectic high entropy alloy and alumina cenospheres that exhibits a remarkable combination of high strength and energy absorption performance under both quasi-static and dynamic *** porous structure of syntactic foam fully exploits the properties of the AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1) alloy matrix with a unique FCC/B2 dual-phase eutectic microstructure and thus yields exceptional *** discovered that this dual-phase microstructure not only provides high strength but also allows the pores to collapse in a progressive and diffusive way,which enables the formation of a high and smooth energy absorption *** is found that the heterogeneity between the two phases in the matrix can provide back stress strengthening,and it also induces multiple micro shear bands and microcracks as additional energy dissipation modes as the deformation *** unique mechanism ensures the strength of microstructures and makes them fracture promptly,which causes the balance of strengthening and softening on the macro *** work opens the avenue for developing advanced high-strength lightweight structural and energy-absorbing materials.

BACKGROUND Difficult bile duct intubation is a big challenge for endoscopists during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)*** report a case of percutaneous transhepatic cholangial drainage(PTCD)-guided methylene blue for fistulotomy using dual-knife for bile duct *** SUMMARY A 50-year-old male patient had developed obstructive jaundice,and ERCP procedure need to be performed to treat the obstructive *** intubation cannot be performed if the duodenal papilla cannot be identified because of previous surgery for a perforated descending duodenal *** used PTCD-guided methylene blue to identify the intramural common bile duct before dual-knife fistulotomy,and bile duct intubation was successfully *** The method that combing methylene blue and dual-knife fistulotomy to achieve bile duct intubation during difficult ERCP is safe and effective.

[目的]建立参芪健胃颗粒中土木香内酯和异土木香内酯的含量测定方法。[方法]采用聚乙二醇20000(PEG-20M)毛细管柱,载气为高纯氮气;进样口温度为260℃;检测器温度为280℃,柱温为程序升温;检测器为氢火焰离子化检测器(FID)。[结果]土木香内酯、异土木香内酯分别在0.004 032~0.040 32μg、0.004 06~0.040 6μg范围内线性关系良好,平均回收率分别为100.0%和99.6%。[结论]该方法可用于参芪健胃颗粒的质量控制,是一种操作简单、快速准确的理想检测方法。

新疆北部准噶尔盆地周边石炭系广泛出露,其中上石炭统发育海相火山—沉积序列,包括西准噶尔地区的哈拉阿拉特组、阿腊德依克赛组,东准噶尔地区的石钱滩组以及盆地南部的祁家沟组、奥尔吐组等。本文研究在上述各地层的灰岩层或夹层、碎屑岩中获得的四射珊瑚9属17种和床板珊瑚2属3种,对石钱滩组中的3个新种进行了详细的系统古生物学描述。上述珊瑚化石的地质时代主要为巴什基尔期至莫斯科期。在珊瑚动物群的组成上,哈拉阿拉特组中新发现Caninophyllum属分子,结合盆地东、西部共同产出的床板珊瑚Cystodendropora属分子,说明整个准噶尔盆地周边的动物群面貌大致类似,而西准噶尔地区的化石丰度、分异度显著低于盆地东部和东南部。综合前人资料,目前在准噶尔盆地周边发现的珊瑚化石有约一半为地方性分子。本文认为研究区珊瑚化石的分布和组成特征与晚石炭世准噶尔洋走向封闭或半封闭的演化趋势密切相关。

肠易激综合征(Irritable Bowel Syndrome, IBS)是一种常见的消化系统疾病,随着人们精神压力增加、饮食结构变化等,肠易激综合征在中国患病率逐渐升高,其中以腹泻型肠易激综合征(Irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea, IBS-D)最为多见。目前现代医学治疗IBS-D虽短期疗效尚可,但仍有长期疗效欠佳、复发率高等缺陷,研究发现中医药治疗IBS-D有独特优势。参苓白术散作为治疗脾虚湿盛证IBS-D代表方之一,有益气健脾、运脾化湿的功效,现代药理学研究显示参苓白术散有调节肠道菌群、调控神经系统、修复肠屏障功能、抗炎、提高免疫等作用,可有效改善肠易激综合征胃肠道症状。该文对参苓白术散相关基础实验及临床试验进展进行综述,分析参苓白术散作用机制和临床应用,以期为提高临床疗效提供更多思路。

Physiological responses and algae inhibition of Pontederia cordata to simulated eutrophication and acid rain co-pollution

Background Eutrophication and acid rain are two threats that many water bodies must contend with. Eutrophication and climate change have accelerated widespread outbreaks of cyanobacterial blooms as both have become more severe. Pontederia cordata, a garden ornamental plant, can inhibit some algae growth and remove total nitrogen（TN） and total phosphorus（TP） from the water. In this study, we investigated how simulated acid rain and eutrophication co-pollution affected P. cordata's growth physiology and ability to inhibit algae *** Under mild eutrophication(2 mg·L-1TN, 0.4 mg·L-1TP, and 15 mg·L-1CODMn) or weak acid rain（pH = 5.0）,P. cordata alleviated the degree of cell membrane lipid peroxidation by stabilizing superoxide dismutase（SOD）and catalase（CAT） activities in the leaves, allowing for normal plant growth. Under mild eutrophication and acid rain conditions, cultured P. cordata water samples maintained strong algae inhibition by reducing the Chl a content and SOD activity of Microcystis aeruginosa cells. Compound stress where acid rain was the primary inhibitory factor along with moderate or severe eutrophication inhibited P. cordata growth, which probably reduced the input of algae-inhibiting allelochemicals, thus reducing its ability to inhibit *** In summary, P. cordata has application potential in mild eutrophic water and acid rain（pH ≥ 4）. These findings provide guidance for further research on phytoremediation and algae control in scenarios of compound pollution.
