Since the discovery in 2011,MXenes have become the rising star in the field of two-dimensional materials.Benefiting from the metallic-level conductivity,large and adjustable gallery spacing,low ion diffusion barrier,rich surface chemistry,superior mechanical strength,MXenes exhibit great application prospects in energy storage and conversion,sensors,optoelectronics,electromagnetic interference shielding and biomedicine.Nevertheless,two issues seriously deteriorate the further development of MXenes.One is the high experimental risk of common preparation methods such as HF etching,and the other is the difficulty in obtaining MXenes with controllable surface groups.Recently,Lewis acidic etching,as a brand-new preparation strategy for MXenes,has attracted intensive attention due to its high safety and the ability to endow MXenes with uniform terminations.However,a comprehensive review of Lewis acidic etching method has not been reported yet.Herein,we first introduce the Lewis acidic etching from the following four aspects:etching mechanism,terminations regulation,in-situ formed metals and delamination of multi-layered MXenes.Further,the applications of MXenes and MXene-based hybrids obtained by Lewis acidic etching route in energy storage and conversion,sensors and microwave absorption are carefully summarized.Finally,some challenges and opportunities of Lewis acidic etching strategy are also presented.

In this paper,the main research work and related reports of materials science research in China’s space technology field during 2020-2022 are summarized.This paper covers Materials Sciences in Space Environment,Materials Sciences for Space Environment,Materials Behavior in Space Environment and Space experimental hardware for material investigation.With the rapid development of China’s space industry,more scientists will be involved in materials science,space technology and earth science researches.In the future,a series of disciplines such as space science,machinery,artificial intelligence,digital twin and big data will be further integrated with materials science,and space materials will also usher in new development opportunities.

Monkeypox is a rare viral infection caused by the monkeypox virus,which is similar to human smallpox.It is also a zoonosis which is found mainly in tropical rain forests of central and western Africa.The monkeypox virus was first detected in grivet at a laboratory in Copenhagen,Denmark,in 1958,and was later found in many African rodents,such as murine and squirrels.Therefore,it is believed that the primary way of infection is through direct human contact with these infected animals.In May 2003,human monkeypox appeared in the Western Hemisphere in the United States and spreaded rapidly,which immediately attracted the attention of all countries.

Understanding the sliding dynamics is critical for developing rotaxane-based mechanically interlocked polymers.In this work,we studied the sliding behavior of a sliding ring and its influence on the dynamics of attached polymer chains based on the heterogeneous beadspring model.The sliding constraint was treated as direction-related confinement with the heterogeneous friction coefficient and constraint intensity.The relaxation spectrum,the diffusion dynamics,and the sliding dynamics under/after drag were studied for typical sliding chain topologies,namely,the sliding dangling chain,the constraint sliding chain,and the sliding strand.Compared with the non-sliding chains(such as the free chain,the dangling chain,and the network strand),the slide of one or two chain ends induces an additional slow process in the transition from the Rouse-type behavior to the long-time terminal behavior.The effect of the sliding-related process on the diffusion of specific chain segments relies on the chain topology.The slow sliding relaxation process is also observed in the sliding process during and after chain deformation,whose characteristic time is at least three times the terminal relaxation time of the free chain with the same length,and will increase with the friction coefficient(i.e.,the interaction)between the ring and the polymer axial.The results of this work will benefit the understanding of the sliding dynamics in experiments.

In this paper, we investigate a class of abstract neutral fractional delayed evolution equation in the fractional power space. With the aid of the analytic semigroup theories and some fixed point theorems, we establish the existence and uniqueness of the S-asymptotically periodic α-mild solutions. The linear part generates a compact and exponentially stable analytic semigroup and the nonlinear parts satisfy some conditions with respect to the fractional power norm of the linear part, which greatly improve and generalize the relevant results of existing literatures.

As the chemical industry grapples with the need for more eco-friendly practices,the use of water as a reaction medium is gaining attraction in organic transformations.This mini-review delves into Pd-catalyzed reactions that utilize the "on-water" mechanism,spanning from 2019 to late 2023.These reactions are neatly categorized into several types: (A) Catalytic C—H activations,(B) Mizoroki- Heck-type reactions,(C) Suzuki-Miyaura reactions,and (D) Cyclization reactions.By showcasing the potential of water as a sustainable reaction medium for organic transformations,these reactions leave no doubt about the importance of embracing eco-friendly practices in the chemical industry.Key Scientists In 1980,a seminal work by Breslow et al.showed an acceleration of reaction rate in the Diels-Alder reaction.Sharpless and co-workers noted a significant increase in the rate of the [2σ+2σ+2π] cycloaddition of quadricyclane and dimethyl azodicarboxylate (DMAD) when the reaction was conducted in water,as opposed to when it was carried out in organic solvents.The term "on-water" was then coined to describe this phenomenon.This strategy was further expanded to transition-metal catalyzed transformations by Ackermann in 2011.Later,Varma and Leazer disclosed a Pd-catalyzed Mizoroki-Heck type arylation of alkenes with diaryliodonium salts “on-water”.The enantioselective version of "on-water" process was not realized until 2014 by the Zhou group.Later on,the Schaub group described a Pd-catalyzed Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction of electron-poor aryl chlorides with water,using only 50 ppm of catalyst loading.Very recently,Liu and Lin extended the "on-water" strategy to Pd-catalyzed double Mizoroki-Heck reactions.This mini-review has focused on Pd-catalyzed reactions involving the “on-water” mechanism.

Significant advancements have been achieved in the field of C,C-palladacycles functionalization in recent decades,which have greatly contributed to the synthesis of intricate drug molecules,natural products,innovative materials,and chiral ligands.Additionally,these advancements have led to the establishment of highly efficient and atom-economic synthetic processes.Based on the differences in the C–Pd bonds,C,C-palladacycles can be further classified into several main types:C(aryl),C(alkyl)-,C(aryl),C(aryl)-,C(aryl),C(vinyl)-,and C(alkyl),C(carbonyl)-palladacycles.This minireview will highlight the recent advances in the synthesis of functional molecules through the functionalization of different C,C-palladacycles,and we hope this survey will inspire future strategic developments for C,C-palladacycle catalysts and their synthetic application.

Perioperative acupuncture medicine: a novel concept instead of acupuncture anesthesia

Objective: To confirm that acupuncture applied to patients would improve the clinical curative effect and accelerate the patienfs recovery by introducing the application of acupuncture in pre-operation, during operation, and post-operation. Data sources: Literature cited in this review was retrieved from PubMed, Web of Science, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and was primarily published in English or Chinese from 2010 to 2018, with keywords of "acupuncture,""electroacupuncture," uperioperative period,"usedation,""analgesia," and "recovery." Relevant citations in the retrieved articles were also screened to include more data. Study selection: All retrieved literature was scrutinized, most typical articles related on perioperative acupuncture application in clinical study were reviewed. Results: Acupuncture could relieve anxiety and stress during the preoperative stage. It reduces the usage of narcotics and stress response, and maintains the respiratory stability and homeostasis during surgery. It also exerts a protective effect on vital organs, and during the postoperative stages, enhances the recovery while effectively alleviating the postoperative pain. This phenomenon prevents common postoperative discomforts such as nausea and vomiting. In addition, it might improve the patients, long-term prognosis. Conclusions: The novel concept uperioperative acupuncture medicine55 is to focus on the optimal treatment in the perioperative period of surgical patients. The review reveals the important role of acupuncture in enhancing rapid recovery of patients during the perioperative period.

Morphine is a widely used analgesic, but its use in clinical precision medicine is limited by the variance in response among individuals. Although previous studies have shown that individual differences in morphine can be explained in terms of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics, genetic polymorphisms also play an important role. However, the genetic basis of different sensitivity and tolerance susceptibility to morphine remains ambiguous. Using 15 strains of inbred Genetic Diversity(GD) mice,a new resource with wide genetic and phenotypic variation, we demonstrated great variance in sensitivity to morphine analgesia and susceptibility to morphine tolerance between different GD strains. Among-i ndividual variance in response to morphine analgesia in the population can be modeled in GD mice. Two loci respectively may be associated with the among-i ndividual variance in morphine sensitivity and tolerance,confirming the role of genetic factors in among-i ndividual different responses to morphine. These results indicate that GD mice may be a potential tool for the identification of new biomarkers to improve the clinical administration of morphine.
