Oral diseases, such as periodontitis, salivary gland diseases, and oral cancers, significantly challenge health conditions due to their detrimental effects on patient's digestive functions, pronunciation, and esthetic demands. Delayed diagnosis and non-targeted treatment profoundly influence patients' prognosis and quality of life. The exploration of innovative approaches for early detection and precise treatment represents a promising frontier in oral medicine.

In the current study,tea saponin,identified as the primary bioactive constituent in seed pomace of Camellia oleifera Abel.,was meticulously extracted and hydrolyzed to yield five known sapogenins:16-O-tiglogycamelliagnin B(a),camelliagnin A(b),16-O-angeloybarringtogenol C(c),theasapogenol E(d),theasapogenol F(e).Subsequent biotransformation of compound a facilitated the isolation of six novel metabolites(a1−a6).The anti-inflammatory potential of these compounds was assessed using pathogenassociated molecular patterns(PAMPs)and damage-associated molecular patterns molecules(DAMPs)-mediated cellular inflammation ***,compounds b and a2 demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on both lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and high-mobility group box 1(HMGB1)-induced inflammation,surpassing the efficacy of the standard anti-inflammatory agent,***,compounds d,a3,and a6 selectivity targeted endogenous HMGB1-induced inflammation,showcasing a pronounced *** results underscore the therapeutic promise of *** seed pomace-derived compounds as potent agents for the management of inflammatory diseases triggered by infections and tissue damage.

Zinc-air batteries(ZABs)are promising energy storage systems because of high theoretical energy density,safety,low cost,and abundance of ***,the slow multi-step reaction of oxygen and heavy reliance on noble-metal catalysts hinder the practical applications of ***,feasible and advanced non-noble-metal elec-trocatalysts for air cathodes need to be identified to promote the oxygen catalytic *** this review,we initially introduced the advancement of ZABs in the past two decades and provided an overview of key developments in this ***,we discussed the work-ing mechanism and the design of bifunctional electrocatalysts from the perspective of morphology design,crystal structure tuning,interface strategy,and atomic *** also included theoretical studies,machine learning,and advanced characterization technologies to provide a comprehensive understanding of the structure-performance relationship of electrocatalysts and the reaction pathways of the oxygen redox ***,we discussed the challenges and prospects related to designing advanced non-noble-metal bifunctional electrocatalysts for ZABs.

In the present study,the chronic heat stress （CHS） broiler model was developed to investigate the potential protection mechanism of organic selenium （selenomethionine,SeMet） on CHS-induced skeletal muscle growth retardation and poor meat *** hundred Arbor Acres male broilers （680±70 g,21 d old） were grouped into 5 treatments with 8 replicates of 10 broilers per *** in the control group were raised in a thermoneutral environment （22±2°C） and fed with a basal *** other four treatments were exposed to hyperthermic conditions （33±2°C,24 h in each day） and fed on the basal diet supplied with SeMet at 0.0,0.2,0.4,and 0.6 mg Se/kg,respectively,for 21 *** showed that CHS reduced （P<0.05） the growth performance,decreased （P<0.05） the breast muscle weight and impaired the meat quality of breast muscle in *** induced protein metabolic disorder in breast muscle,which increased （P<0.05） the expression of caspase 3,caspase 8,caspase 9 and ubiquitin proteasome system related genes,while decreased the protein expression of *** also decreased the antioxidant capacity and induced mitochondrial stress and endoplasmic reticulum （ER） stress in breast muscle,which increased （P<0.05） the ROS levels,decreased the concentration of ATP,increased the protein expression of HSP60 and CLPX,and increased （P<0.05） the expression of ER stress *** SeMet supplementation linearly increased （P<0.05） breast muscle Se concentration and exhibited protective effects via up-regulating the expression of the selenotranscriptome and several key selenoproteins,which increased （P<0.05） body weight,improved meat quality,enhanced antioxidant capacity and mitigated mitochondrial stress and ER ***'s more,SeMet suppressed protein degradation and improved protein biosynthesis though inhibiting the caspase and ubiquitin proteasome system and promoting the mTOR-4EBP1 *** conclusion,dietary SeMet supplementation increases the expression of

Background:The role of surgery in metastatic breast cancer(MBC)is currently *** novel statistical and deep learning(DL)methods promise to infer the suitability of surgery at the individual ***:The objective of this study was to identify the most applicable DL model for determining patients with MBC who could benefit from surgery and the type of surgery ***:We introduced the deep survival regression with mixture effects(DSME),a semi-parametric DL model integrating three causal inference *** models were trained to make individualized treatment *** who received treatments in line with the DL models'recommendations were compared with those who underwent treatments divergent from the *** probability weighting(IPW)was used to minimize *** effects of various features on surgery selection were visualized and quantified using multivariate linear regression and causal ***:In total,5269 female patients with MBC were *** was an independent protective factor,outperforming other models in recommending surgery(IPW-adjusted hazard ratio[HR]=0.39,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.19–0.78)and type of surgery(IPW-adjusted HR=0.66,95%CI:0.48–0.93).DSME was superior to other models and traditional guidelines,suggesting a higher proportion of patients benefiting from surgery,especially breast-conserving *** debiased effect of patient characteristics,including age,tumor size,metastatic sites,lymph node status,and breast cancer subtypes,on surgery decision was also ***:Our findings suggested that DSME could effectively identify patients with MBC likely to benefit from surgery and the specific type of surgery *** method can facilitate the development of efficient,reliable treatment recommendation systems and provide quantifiable evidence for decision-making.

由于剖宫产率的增加, 继发性不孕的人数增多, 从而使剖宫产术后接受辅助生殖技术(assisted reproductive technology, ART)助孕治疗的患者也逐渐增加, 但目前关于剖宫产术对ART妊娠结局的影响尚存争议。研究显示剖宫产切口瘢痕可能通过改变子宫解剖结构、降低子宫内膜容受性、破坏宫腔微生态环境等影响胚胎着床, 从而增加反复种植失败、复发性流产及异位妊娠等风险。瘢痕修补术是改善此类患者助孕结局的有效手段, 近年来宫腔灌注、抑制异常宫缩、抗生素治疗等也成为改善宫腔环境的新思路。本文基于剖宫产瘢痕子宫与后续生育力的关系, 围绕其影响ART妊娠结局的可能机制及处理方案展开综述, 为临床工作提供参考。
