Let X be an irreducible Hermitian symmetric space of compact type(IHSS for short).In this paper,we give the irreducible decomposition of *** a by-product,we give a cohomological characterization of the rank of ***,we introduce pseudoeffective thresholds to measure the bigness of tangent bundles of smooth complex projective varieties precisely and calculate them for irreducible Hermitian symmetric spaces of compact type.

Homogeneous void nucleation in metals containing arbitrary vacancies and interstitials has been reexamined,with corrections made to the original work by Katz and *** void size distributions derived previously missed an exponential modification function with void size as the *** a result,void nucleation under a given vacancy supersaturation ratio is underestimated by orders of *** second improvement arises from the accuracy in calculating the vacancy arrival rate to a *** present work proposes establishing a direct relationship between the vacancy arrival rate and the available self-diffusion *** these corrections and improvements,void nucleation in pure Fe is calculated as an example,and an analytic fitting formula is *** required vacancy supersaturation ratio and interstitial-to-vacancy flux ratio for void nucleation calculations can be easily obtained from an analytical solution of rate theory calculations,in which dislocation density and displacements per atom(dpa)rate are adjustable ***,the nucleation rate calculation can be incorporated into rate theory calculations considering evolving dislocation densities,which leads to time-dependent void nucleation.

A regime-switching geometric Brownian motion is used to model a geometric Brownian motion with its coefficients changing randomly according to a Markov *** this work, the author gives a complete characterization of the recurrent property of this process. The long time behavior of this process such as its p-th moment is also studied. Moreover, the quantitative properties of the regime-switching geometric Brownian motion with two-state switching are investigated to show the difference between geometric Brownian motion with switching and without switching. At last, some estimates of its first passage probability are established.

Historically, mast cells were known as a key cell type involved in type I hypersensitivity. Until last two decades, this cell type was recognized to be widely involved in a number of non-allergic diseases including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Markedly increased numbers of mast cells were observed in the mucosa of the ileum and colon of patients with IBD, which was accompanied by great changes of the content in mast cells such as dramatically increased expression of TNFα,IL-16 and substance P. The evidence of mast cell degranulation was found in the wall of intestine from patients with IBD with immunohistochemistry technique. The highly elevated histamine and tryptase levels were detected in mucosa of patients with IBD, strongly suggesting that mast cell degranulation is involved in the pathogenesis of ***, little is known of the actions of histamine, tryptase,chymase and carboxypeptidase in IBD. Over the last decade,heparin has been used to treat IBD in clinical practice. The low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) was effective as adjuvant therapy, and the patients showed good clinical and laboratory response with no serious adverse effects. The roles of PGD2, LTC4, PAF and mast cell cytokines in IBD were also discussed. Recently, a series of experiments with dispersed colon mast cells suggested there should be at least two pathways in man for mast cells to amplify their own activation-degranulation signals in an autocrine or paracrine *** hypothesis is that mast cell secretogogues induce mast cell degranulation, release histamine, then stimulate the adjacent mast cells or positively feedback to further stimulate its host mast cells through H1 receptor. Whereas released tryptase acts similarly to histamine, but activates mast cells through its receptor PAR-2. The connections between current anti-IBD therapies or potential therapies for IBD with mastcells were discussed, implicating further that mast cell is a key cell type that is involved in the p

Taking into account the dephasing process in the realistic atomic ensemble,we theoretically study the generation of atomic spin squeezing via atomic coherence induced by the coupling and probe *** the Heisenberg–Langevin approach,we find that the perfect spin squeezing in the X component can be obtained while the coupling and probe fields produce the maximum coherence between the ground state sublevels 1 and ***,the degree of atomic spin squeezing in the X component can be strengthened with the increasing atomic density and/or Rabi frequency of the mixing *** theoretical results provide a proof-of-principle demonstration of generating the atomic spin squeezing via quantum coherence in the realistic atomic ensemble which may find potential applications in quantum information processing and quantum networks.

We predict a low-dense phase of ternary boron-carbon-nitrogen compound with a cubic symmetry,named as ldBC_(2)*** and electronic structures are studied by the ab initio pseudopotential density functional *** constant,electronic band structure and density of state as well as the phonon spectrum of ld-BC_(2)N are *** results show that ld-BC_(2)N is an indirect gap semiconductor with a band gap of 3.6eV,a theoretical Vickers hardness of 67.5 GPa and the bulk modulus of 280 GPa suggest that ld-BC_(2)N is a superhard materialwhich has low elastic moduli and high hardness compared with cubic BN.
