A novel multi-objective optimization algorithm incorporating vector method and evolution strategies,referred as vector dominant multi-objective evolutionary algorithm(VD-MOEA),is developed and applied to the aerodynamic-structural integrative design of wind turbine blades.A set of virtual vectors are elaborately constructed,guiding population to fast move forward to the Pareto optimal front and dominating the distribution uniformity with high *** comparison to conventional evolution algorithms,VD-MOEA displays dramatic improvement of algorithm performance in both convergence and diversity preservation when handling complex problems of multi-variables,multi-objectives and *** an example,a 1.5 MW wind turbine blade is subsequently designed taking the maximum annual energy production,the minimum blade mass,and the minimum blade root thrust as the optimization *** results show that the Pareto optimal set can be obtained in one single simulation run and that the obtained solutions in the optimal set are distributed quite uniformly,maximally maintaining the population *** efficiency of VD-MOEA has been elevated by two orders of magnitude compared with the classical *** provides a reliable high-performance optimization approach for the aerodynamic-structural integrative design of wind turbine blade.

Up-to-date laser-driven lightings confront a challenge of simultaneously achieving good photometric and chromatic ***,the coupling of“patterned package design”and“phosphor wheel”was proposed and demonstrated effectively to deal with this tough issue,based on a new architecture of CaAlSiN3:Eu2+(CASN:Eu)glass ceramic film(GCF)on Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12):Ce^(3+)(YAG:Ce)GC *** fabricated composite has no interface between the two functional layers and retains the admirable luminescent features from CASN:Eu and YAG:Ce for the microstructural integrity during *** studies on laser-microcrystalline interactions reveal that the luminescence saturation is almost determined by thermal quenching for YAG:Ce,but is ascribed to thermal/intensity quenching which are equally crucial for CASN:*** from the elaborate architecture design,good color chromaticity tunability was obtained,and severe photon reabsorption was ***,accompanied with the rotation induced increase of thermal convection to air and pulse-like excitation,the constructed lighting engine under blue laser driven shows bright white light with luminous flux(LF)higher than 1000 lm,adjustable chromaticity from cool to warm,and improved color rendering index(CRI)approaching to 70.

To address the issue of finegrained classification of Internet multimedia traffic from a Quality of Service(QoS) perspective with a suitable granularity, this paper defines a new set of QoS classes and presents a modified K-Singular Value Decomposition(K-SVD) method for multimedia identification. After analyzing several instances of typical Internet multimedia traffic captured in a campus network, this paper defines a new set of QoS classes according to the difference in downstream/upstream rates and proposes a modified K-SVD method that can automatically search for underlying structural patterns in the QoS characteristic space. We define bagQoS-words as the set of specific QoS local patterns, which can be expressed by core QoS characteristics. After the dictionary is constructed with an excess quantity of bag-QoSwords, Locality Constrained Feature Coding(LCFC) features of QoS classes are extracted. By associating a set of characteristics with a percentage of error, an objective function is formulated. In accordance with the modified K-SVD, Internet multimedia traffic can be classified into a corresponding QoS class with a linear Support Vector Machines(SVM) clas-sifier. Our experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed classification method.

High-speed physical key distribution is diligently pursued for secure *** this paper,we propose and experimentally demonstrate a scheme of high-speed key distribution using mode-shift keying chaos synchronization between two multi-longitudinal-mode Fabry–Perot lasers commonly driven by a super-luminescent *** users dynamically select one of the longitudinal modes according to private control codes to achieve mode-shift keying chaos *** two remote chaotic light waveforms are quantized to generate two raw random bit streams,and then those bits corresponding to chaos synchronization are sifted as shared keys by comparing the control *** this method,the transition time,i.e.,the chaos synchronization recovery time is determined by the rising time of the control codes rather than the laser transition response time,so the key distribution rate is improved *** experiment achieved a 0.75-Gbit/s key distribution rate with a bit error rate of 3.8×10^(−3)over 160-km fiber transmission with dispersion *** entropy rate of the laser chaos is evaluated as 16 Gbit/s,which determines the ultimate final key rate together with the key generation *** is therefore believed that the method pays a way for Gbit/s physical key distribution.

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) and hybrid capacitors(SIHCs) have garnered significant attention in energy storage due to their inherent advantages,including high energy density,cost-effectiveness,and enhanced ***,developing high-performance anode materials to improve sodium storage performa nce still remains a major ***,a facile one-pot method has been developed to fabricate a hybrid of MoSeTe nanosheets implanted within the N,F co-doped honeycomb carbon skeleton(MoSeTe/N,F@C).Experimental results demonstrate that the incorporation of large-sized Te atoms into MoSeTe nanosheets enlarges the layer spacing and creates abundant anion vacancies,which effectively facilitate the insertion/extraction of Na^(+) and provide numerous ion adsorption sites for rapid surface capacitive ***,the heteroatoms N,F co-doped honeycomb carbon skeleton with a highly conductive network can restrain the volume expansion and boost reaction kinetics within the *** anticipated,the MoSeTe/N,F@C anode exhibits high reversible capacities along with exceptional cycle *** coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)@C(NVPF@C) to form SIB full cells,the anode delivers a reversible specific capacity of 126 mA h g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1).Furthermore,when combined with AC to form SIHC full cells,the anode demonstrates excellent cycling stability with a reversible specific capacity of50 mA h g^(-1) keeping over 3700 cycles at 1.0 A g^(-1).In situ XRD,ex situ TEM characterization,and theoretical calculations(DFT) further confirm the reversibility of sodium storage in MoSeTe/N,F@C anode materials during electrochemical reactions,highlighting their potential for widespread practical *** work provides new insights into the promising utilization of advanced transition metal dichalcogenides as anode materials for Na^(+)-based energy storage devices.

The present study describes the facile preparation of acid/CO2 stimuliresponsive sheddable nanoparticles based on carboxymethylated chitosan(CMCS).Commercially available CMCS was grafted with monomethoxy polyethylene glycol(mPEG)chains via an acid/CO2 responsive linker,i.e.,benzoic-imine,and then was used for the cross-linking with *** a high CMCS concentration up to 7 mg/mL,stable nanoparticles were successfully *** particle size grew slightly with increasing the molecular weight of *** the concentration of CaCI2 and the feed ratio of CMCS to mPEG increased,the particle size decreased at first and then increased after reaching a minimum *** the particles were stimulated by CO2 or acid,*** cleaved quickly,and mPEG fell off the nanoparticles simultaneously,and then flocculation and precipitation *** sheddable nanoparticles might have potential application in the biomedical field in eluding the intelligent drug delivery system.

A two-dimensional model was applied to investigate the influence of the interfacial tension between the steel and the slag on the behavior of the meniscus in continuous casting mold of *** shape of the meniscus and phenomena near the meniscus were revealed,and the profile of the slag rim and the depth of the solidified meniscus and oscillation marks with different interfacial tension of the steel and slag were *** the increase in the interfacial tension,the size of the curved meniscus increased,while the curvature and the height of the local meniscus close to the mold ***,the thickness of the slag rim,solid slag and total slag near the meniscus had the tendency to increase,and the bottom of the slag rim became lower and *** the increase in the interfacial tension from 0.1 to 2.5 N/m,the location of the largest heat flux near the meniscus decreased from 10.0 to 2.5 mm above the initial level of the steel,and the largest heat flux was within 3.52-4.58 MW/m^(2).Meanwhile,the largest depth of the solidified meniscus decreased from 3.3 to 2.3 mm,and the depth of oscillation marks decreased,which was conducive to the shallow hook at the subsurface of the slab,and the improvement of surface cleanliness of the slab.

Effects of Methyl Jasmonate on the Composition of Volatile Compounds in Pyropia yezoensis

Volatile organic compounds in marine algae have been reported to comprise characteristic flavor of algae and play an important role in their growth, development and defensive response. Yet their biogeneration remain largely unknown. Here we studied the composition of volatile compouds in Pyropia yezoensis and their variations in response to methyl jasmonate(MeJA) and diethyldithiocarbamic acid(DIECA) treatment using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS). A total of 44 compounds belonging to the following chemical classes(n) were identified, including aldehydes(11), alcohols(8), acids and esters(6), alkanes(5), ketones(5), alkenes(3), and S-or N-containing miscellaneous compounds(6). External treatment with plant hormone MeJA increased the content of 1-dodecanol, 4-heptenal, and 2-propenoic acid-2-methyl dodecylester, but decreased the content of phytol, 3-heptadecene, 2-pentadecanone, and isophytol. When pretreated with DIECA, an inhibitor of the octadecanoid pathway leading to the biosynthesis of endogeneous jasmonates and some secondary metabolites, phytol and isophytol were increased, while 4-heptenal, 1-dodecanol, and 2-propenoic acid-2-methyl dodecylester were decreased, both of which were negatively correlated with their variations under MeJA treatment. Collectively, these results suggest that MeJA does affect the volatile composition of P. yezoensis, and the octadecanoid pathway together with endogenous jasmonate pathway may be involved in the biosynthesis of volatile compounds, thereby providing some preliminary envision on the composition and biogeneration of volatile compounds in P. yezoensis.

Ferritins can generally be divided into four subfamilies based on their structural characteristics,namely,the classic ferritins(Ftns),bacterioferritins(Bfrs),DNA-binding proteins from starved cells(Dps’),and encapsulated ferritins(Enc Ftns).However,the ferritin from Mycoplasma penetrans(Mpef)possesses a particular ferroxidase center with an extreme low activity and exhibits unusual characteristics,indicating that it could be a member of a quite different subfamily of ***,the crystal structure of the ferritin from Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uurf)is presented,Mpef and Uurf have very similar properties,though they display very low sequence ***,ferritins from Mycoplasma with these unique properties do not belong to any known subfamily,but they should rather be placed in a novel ferritin subfamily,which we term Mycoplasma Ferritin(Mfr).
