Projective synchronization in modulated time-delayed systems is studied by applying an active control *** on the Lyapunov asymptotical stability theorem,the controller and sufficient condition for projective synchronization are calculated *** give a general method with which we can achieve projective synchronization in modulated time-delayed chaotic *** method allows us to adjust the desired scaling factor *** effectiveness of our method is confirmed by using the famous delay-differential equations related to optical bistable or hybrid optical bistable *** simulations fully support the analytical approach.

Objective： To determine fatty acid synthase （FAS） expression in human multiple myeloma and verify its potential as a therapeutic target in multiple myeloma. Methods： FAS expression was determined by immunohistochemistry, reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR） and immunoblot analysis in bone marrow samples obtained from 27 patients with multiple myeloma （MM patients） and peripheral blood mononuclear cells （PBMCs） obtained from 12 healthy donors In parallel, additional analyses were performed on 2 human multiple myeloma cell lines, U266 and RPM18226. U266 cells were treated with cerulenin at various concentrations （5 to 320 μg/ml） for 24 h, and metabolic activity was measured by 3-（4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl）-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide （MTT） assays. Apoptosis was evaluated by dual Annexin V/Pl （propidium iodide） labeling and flow cytometry （FCM） in U266 cells treated with 20 μg/ml cerulenin for 12 h or 24 h. Results： By immunohistochemistry, we found that 19 of 27 bone marrow samples obtained from MM patients expressed significantly high levels of FAS. Similarly, by RT-PCR, 22 of 27 bone marrow samples obtained from MM patients, U266 and RPM18226 showed FAS expression, whereas PBMC samples from 12 healthy donors did not express detectable level of FAS. FAS protein expression was confirmed by immunoblot analysis in 16 of 27 bone marrow samples obtained from MM patients, U266 and RPM18226 cell lines, and no FAS protein expression was detected in PBMC samples from 12 healthy donors. U266 cells were highly sensitive to cerulenin treatment, with a dosage-related effect on metabolic activity, as a measure for cell proliferation. U266 cells treated with 20 μg/ml cerulenin for 12 and 24 h also showed early sign of apoptosis with 56.9% and 69.3% Annexin V^＋/Pl cells, and late apoptotic and necrotic cells with 3.2% and 17.6% Annexin V^＋/Pl^＋ cells. Gastric cancer and adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction are major challenges to global public health due to their high morbidity and mortality. Despite continuous improvements in treatment techniques, patient prognosis is still affected by multiple factors. The preoperative prognostic nutritional index (PNI), a simple clinical indicator, has received widespread attention in recent years. Fiflis et al conducted a systematic review and reported that a high PNI was associated with significantly better survival in patients with gastric cancer. They also found that the PNI had prognostic value in patients with cancer of different TNM stages and had a positive effect even in advanced gastric cancer patients. Although the study did not address the impact of treatment regimens and had limited data sources, the results support the validity of the PNI as a biomarker for predicting the survival of gastric cancer patients. Future studies should further standardize the calculation method of the PNI, explore its applicability in different populations, and integrate other clinical parameters to construct more accurate prediction models.

采用熔体直纺技术，在日本进口TMT卷绕机上，研制开发一步法44 dtex/18 f涤纶全拉伸丝(FDY)。通过对喷丝板板面的设计、组件过滤材料的配比、中间网络的配置、冷却工艺的优化、上油方式以及工艺参数的调整，确定了44 dtex/18 f涤纶FDY的最佳制备工艺。结果表明，当侧吹风风速为0.45 m/s，采用油轮上油方式，GR1热辊温度为(81±2)℃，GR2热辊温度为(131±2)℃，卷绕速度为4 200 m/min时，总体纺丝状况及产品综合性能良好，所纺产品得到客户的一致好评。

Effect of Preplant Fertilizer on Agronomic and Physiological Traits of Soybean Cultivars from Different Breeding Programs

Understanding the changes in agronomic and physiological traits associated with yield genetic gain is important for soybean production and future breeding strategy. The objective of this study was to compare the older and modern cultivars to learn whether the yield improvements depend on preplant fertilizer or the plant productivity improvement, A set of older cultivars, with their modern counterparts derived from breeding programs in Liaoning and Ohio were evaluated for their agronomic and physiological traits under different fertilizer levels from 2004 to 2006. There was no improvement of response to N and P preplant fertilizer for genotypes. After more than 70 yr breeding, soybean breeders made some improvements in agronomic and physiological traits that contribute to yield increase. When compared to older cultivar, modern Liaoning and Ohio cultivars were shorter and more resistance to lodging, had greater leaf density, higher harvest index, more leaf area per plant, and greater photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate and stomatal conductance at the beginning of seed development. Ohio cultivars were more resistant to lodging as if selected for easy harvest by combine, even under high N and P preplant fertilizer level, which resulted in Ohio cultivars with higher and stable yield productivity.

The quasistatic nanoindentation process of a spherical indenter in a single crystal copper is investigated with the molecular statistical thermodynamics(MST)method based on the embedded atom method(EAM)*** indentation modulus obtained in the MST simulation is 129.9 GPa,which agrees well with the theoretical prediction(129GPa).In the elastic regime,the obtained maximum displacement of the indenter is two times the contact depth and the contact area is qualitatively proportional to the contact depth,which agrees well with Hertzian elastic theory of *** MST simulation can reproduce the nucleation of dislocation as ***,the efficiency of the MST method is about 8 times higher than that of traditional MD simulations.

AIM:To examine the prophylactic effect of glyceryl trinitrate on post-endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) pancreatitis and ***:Patients scheduled for ERCP were randomly divided into study group and placebo *** in study group and placebo group were treated with 5 mg glyceryl trinitrate and 100 mg vitamin C,respectively,5 min before endoscopic ***:A total of 74 patients were enrolled in the final ***-ERCP pancreatitis occurred in 3 patients(7.9%) of the study group and 9 patients(25%) in the placebo group(P = 0.012).Hyperamylasemia occurred in 8 patients of the study group(21.1%) and 13 patients(36.1%) of the placebo group(P = 0.037).CONCLUSION:Glyceryl trinitrate before ERCP can effectively prevent post-ERCP and hyperamylasemia.

Unlike traditional fiction, Virginia Woolf＇s ＂The Mark on the Wall＂ doesn＇t have lively characters, detailed setting, or intriguing plot. Discarding the traditional narrative mode of zero focalization, the narrator adopts a new fixed internal focalization, interwoven with the first person external point of view. By weakening the physical time and space, the narrator tells the story according to her psychological time and space, stressing the moment of importance, through which the writer highlights her subjective reality.
