Blood lead levels of 180 pupils from two elementary schools were determined and the intellec- tual development of the children was *** children in these two groups were similar in most nonlead *** showed that pupils at the school near a battery plant had higher blood lead levels than those at a school in a residential *** evident dose- effect relationship between blood lead level and children's performance on psychological testing existed:the higher the blood level,the lower the intelligence *** relationship re- mained after confounding factors were controlled by stepwise regression *** regres- sion coefficients for PbB and verbal IQ,performance IQ,and full-scale IQ were -0.85,-0.71, and -0.91,respectively.1989 Academic Press,Inc.

Based on the analysis of the whole lifecycle of equipment, we, in this paper, propose the lifecycle-oriented diagnosis and maintenance philosophy, and expound its connotation and characteristics. Then, we present its open framework of the lifecycle-oriented diagnosis view in detail, which consists of three levels： information model, net model and open space. The open space level indicates the alternation of the information, the integration of the structure and the modeling of the knowledge. These three levels reveal the synthesis of the diagnosis process effectively in length and breadth. Finally, the main work of the paper and the future work on this problem are discussed.

Purpose:To improve our understanding of macular schisis in highly myopic eyes. Methods:From 2002.6-2003.12, the highly myopic eyes(>6D) which has macular schisis found by OCT at our hospital were included in the study. Each eye then received further examinations including visual acuity,refractive error and ultra-sonography. Then the results were analyzed to find the characteristic of the entity. Results:During that period, OCT found macular schisis in 38 highly myopic eyes from 36 patients. Their vision was low, and their average axial length and refractive error were 29.6mm and -10.5D respectively. The appearance and the area of the schisis are different among the eyes. But the schisis can be largely divided into two types: inner and outer schisis. They can exit independently or concurrently in the same eye. And the schisis was often accompanied by other macular findings, like retinal detachment, macular hole. Conclusion:Macular schisis in highly myopic eyes is not uncommon in the clinic. OCT is useful in its diagnosis.

Background Pre-operative chemotherapy has gained widespread interest while treating advanced gastric cancer in eastern countries. However, there is currently no established standard regimen for gastric cancer. The aim of this research was to explore the value of preoperative chemotherapy with a combination of intravenous and intra-arterial intensified chemotherapy in advanced .qastric cancer.

专利权是一种垄断权,其客体是一种不易被人察知的无形财产,相对于其他财产权特别是物权而言,专利权表现得更为活跃,权利的空间范围更大,它可以通过有形的载体流动到世界的各个角落,甚至是外太空。由于它存在方式的隐蔽性,更易使权利相对人落入侵权的牢笼中,就像无辜的昆虫落入早已被蜘蛛编织好的蛛网中。这既增加了社会交易成本又阻碍了技术的进步,所以运用法律规制"专利蟑螂"的滥诉行为是正当的,它体现了权利义务相对应的原理,是权利保护和权利限制的对立和统一,是国家公权力对私权利干预以维护社会公共利益和私人利益的平衡。

Demyelination and remyelination have been major focal points in the study of peripheral nerve regeneration following peripheral nerve ***,the gene regulatory network of regenerated myelin differs from that of native *** of enhancer of zeste homolog 2(EZH2)hinders the differentiation,maturation,and myelination of Schwann cells in *** further determine the role of EZH2 in myelination and recovery post-peripheral nerve injury,conditional knockout mice lacking Ezh2 in Schwann cells(Ezh2^(fl/fl);Dhh-Cre and Ezh2^(fl/fl);Mpz-Cre)were *** results show that a significant proportion of axons in the sciatic nerve of Ezh2-depleted mice remain *** highlights the crucial role of Ezh2 in initiating Schwann cell ***,we observed that 21 days after inducing a sciatic nerve crush injury in these mice,most axons had remyelinated at the injury site in the control nerve,while Ezh2^(fl/fl);Mpz-Cre mice had significantly fewer remyelinated axons compared with their wild-type *** suggests that the absence of Ezh2 in Schwann cells impairs myelin formation and *** conclusion,EZH2 has emerged as a pivotal regulatory factor in the process of demyelination and myelin regeneration following peripheral nerve *** EZH2 activity during these processes may offer a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of peripheral nerve injuries.

Regulated cell death is a form of cell death that is actively controlled by *** studies have shown that regulated cell death plays a key role after spinal cord *** and ferroptosis are newly discovered types of regulated cell deaths that have been shown to exacerbate inflammation and lead to cell death in damaged spinal ***,a complex form of cell death that is interconnected with various regulated cell death mechanisms,has garnered significant attention in the study of spinal cord *** injury triggers not only cell death but also cellular survival *** signaling pathways play pivotal roles in influencing the processes of both deterioration and repair in spinal cord injury by regulating pyroptosis,ferroptosis,and ***,this review aims to comprehensively examine the mechanisms underlying regulated cell deaths,the signaling pathways that modulate these mechanisms,and the potential therapeutic targets for spinal cord *** analysis suggests that targeting the common regulatory signaling pathways of different regulated cell deaths could be a promising strategy to promote cell survival and enhance the repair of spinal cord ***,a holistic approach that incorporates multiple regulated cell deaths and their regulatory pathways presents a promising multi-target therapeutic strategy for the management of spinal cord injury.
