Fabricating low-strain and fast-charging silicon-carbon composite anodes is highly desired but remains a huge challenge for lithium-ion ***,we report a unique silicon-carbon composite fabricated by uniformly dis-persing amorphous si nanodots(siNDs)in carbon nanospheres(siNDs/C)that are welded on the wall of the macroporous carbon framework(MPCF)by vertical graphene(VG),labeled as MPCF@VG@siNDs/*** high dispersity and amor-phous features of ultrasmall siNDs(~0.7 nm),the flexible and directed electron/Li+transport channels of VG,and the MPCF impart the MPCF@VG@siNDs/C more lithium storage sites,rapid Li+transport path,and unique low-strain property during Li+***,the MPCF@VG@siNDs/C exhibits high cycle stability(1301.4 mAh g^(-1) at 1 A g^(-1) after 1000 cycles without apparent decay)and high rate capacity(910.3 mAh g^(-1),20 A g^(-1))in half cells based on industrial electrode *** assembled pouch full cell delivers a high energy density(1694.0 wh L^(-1);602.8 wh kg^(-1))and an excellent fast-charging capability(498.5 wh kg^(-1),charging for 16.8 min at 3 C).This study opens new possibilities for preparing advanced silicon-carbon com-posite anodes for practical applications.

High-resolution multi-color printing relies upon pixelated optical nanostructures,which is crucial to promote color display by producing nonbleaching colors,yet requires simplicity in fabrication and dynamic *** trisulfide(sb_(2)s_(3))is a newly rising chalcogenide material that possesses prompt and significant transition of its optical characteristics in the visible region between amorphous and crystalline phases,which holds the key to color-varying ***,we proposed a dynamically switchable color printing method using sb_(2)s_(3)-based stepwise pixelated Fabry-Pérot(FP)cavities with various cavity *** device was fabricated by employing a direct laser patterning that is a less timeconsuming,more approachable,and low-cost *** switching the state of sb_(2)s_(3) between amorphous and crystalline,the multi-color of stepwise pixelated FP cavities can be actively *** color variation is due to the profound change in the refractive index of sb_(2)s_(3) over the visible spectrum during its phase ***,we directly fabricated sub-50 nm nano-grating on ultrathin sb_(2)s_(3) laminate via microsphere 800-nm femtosecond laser irradiation in far *** minimum feature size can be further decreased down to~45 nm(λ/17)by varying the thickness of sb_(2)s_(3) *** switchable sb_(2)s_(3) photonic devices can take one step toward the next generation of inkless erasable papers or displays and enable information encryption,camouflaging surfaces,anticounterfeiting,***,our work explores the prospects of rapid and rewritable fabrication of periodic structures with nano-scale resolution and can serve as a guideline for further development of chalcogenide-based photonics components.

Transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)are a promising class of layered materials in the post-graphene era,with extensive research attention due to their diverse alternative elements and fascinating semiconductor *** MX2 layers with different metal and/or chalcogen elements have similar structural parameters but varied optoelectronic properties,providing opportunities for atomically substitutional engineering via partial alteration of metal or/and chalcogenide atoms to produce ternary or quaternary *** resulting multinary TMD layers still maintain structural integrity and homogeneity while achieving tunable(opto)electronic properties across a full range of composition with arbitrary ratios of introduced metal or chalcogen to original counterparts(0–100%).Atomic substitution in TMD layers offers new adjustable degrees of freedom for tailoring crystal phase,band alignment/structure,carrier density,and surface reactive activity,enabling novel and promising *** review comprehensively elaborates on atomically substitutional engineering in TMD layers,including theoretical foundations,synthetic strategies,tailored properties,and superior *** emerging type of ternary TMDs,Janus TMDs,is presented specifically to highlight their typical compounds,fabrication methods,and potential ***,opportunities and challenges for further development of multinary TMDs are envisioned to expedite the evolution of this pivotal field.

Bifurcation and optimal control for an infectious disease model with the impact of information

A nonlinear infectious disease model with information-influenced vaccination behavior and contact patterns is proposed in this paper,and the impact of information related to disease prevalence on increasing vaccination coverage and reducing disease incidence during the outbreak is ***,we perform the analysis for the existence of equilibria and the stability properties of the proposed *** particular,the geometric approach is used to obtain the sufficient condition which guarantees the global asymptotic stability of the unique endemic equilibrium Ee when the basic reproduction number Ro>***,mathematical derivation combined with numerical simulation shows the existence of the double Hopf bifurcation around ***,based on the numerical results,it is shown that the information coverage and the average information delay may lead to more complex dynamical ***,the optimal control problem is established with information-infuenced vaccination and treatment as control *** corresponding optimal paths are obtained analytically by using Pontryagin's maximum principle,and the applicability and validity of virous intervention strategies for the proposed controls are presented by numerical experiments.

Human-Machine shared Lateral Control strategy for Intelligent Vehicles Based on Human Driver Risk Perception Reliability

Intelligent vehicle(Ⅳ)technology has developed rapidly in recent ***,achieving fully unmanned driving still presents numerous challenges,which means that human drivers will continue to play a vital role in vehicle operation for the foreseeable ***-machine shared driving,involving cooperation between a human driver and an automated driving system(AVs),has been widely regarded as a necessary stage for the development of *** onⅣdriving safety,this study proposed a human-machine shared lateral control strategy(HsLCs)based on the reliability of driver risk *** HsLCs starts by identifying the effective areas of driver risk perception based on eye *** establishes an anisotropic driving risk field,which serves as the foundation for the AVs to assess risk *** upon the cumulative and diminishing effects of risk perception,the proposed approach leverages the driver's risk perception effective area and converts the risk field into a representation aligned with the driver's ***,it quantifies the reliability of the driver's risk perception by using area-matching ***,based on the driver’s risk perception reliability and dif-ferences in lateral driving operation between the human driver and the AVs,the dynamic distribution of driving authority is achieved through a fuzzy rule-based system,and the human-machine shared lateral control is completed by using model predictive *** HsLCs was tested across various scenarios on a driver-in-the-loop test *** results show that the HsLCs can realize the synergy and complementarity of human and machine intelligence,effectively ensuring the safety ofⅣoperation.

Background To investigate the optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)characteristics of diabetic macular edema(DME)at different *** This study was a cross-sectional *** diagnosed with DME were *** was classified into early,advanced,and severe *** vessel density(VD)in the superficial vascular plexus(sVP),deep vascular plexus(DVP)and foveal avascular zone(FAZ)parameters,including FAZ area,FAZ perimeter,acircularity index and foveal VD in a 300-μm-wide region around the FAZ(FD-300),were calculated by the AngioVue software.A multivariate generalized estimating equation was used to evaluate the associations between visual acuity and OCTA *** Ninety-two eyes from 74 patients with DME were included in this *** to early(P=0.006)and advanced DME(P=0.003),the acircularity index was higher in severe *** whole and parafoveal VD in the DVP decreased in eyes with severe DME compared to early DME(P=0.018,P=0.005,respectively)and advanced DME(P=0.035,P=0.012,respectively).In the multivariate generalized estimating equation,DME severity,FAZ area and foveal thickness were positively associated with worse visual acuity(P=0.001,P=0.007 and P=0.001,respectively).Conclusion Compared to early and advanced DME,severe DME showed increased irregularity in the FAZ and more extensive vessel damage in the *** severity level of DME,larger FAZ area,and increased foveal thickness could be risk factors for poor visual *** registration The protocol was published in the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry(ChiCTR2000033082).

In the advent of the 6G era, non-terrestrial networks (NTN) with expansive coverage are being increasingly recognized as a vital supplement to cellular networks for facilitating seamless communication. The intricate interplay between network performance and service quality necessitates a thorough investigation into the modeling and analysis of services for efficient construction of *** studies on service analysis, predominantly focused on terrestrial networks,fall short in addressing the unique challenges posed by NTN,particularly those related to platform distribution and antenna gain modeling. This deficiency in research,coupled with the varying preferences of users for different network types, forms the basis of this study. This paper explores the spatio-temporal characteristics of services within a multi-layered NTN *** this context,the spatial distribution of the platforms is modeled using a binomial point process, and the antennas are characterized by a sectorized beam pattern. we derive the closed-form expressions for the association probability,the number of accessed users, and the arrival rate of services with certain delay requirements towards different types of NTN. simulation results are provided to evaluate the influence of various parameters on the association probability, the number of accessed users, and the total arrival rate of services. The number of satellites can be determined to achieve the optimal system utility,balancing the accessed services, offloading effects, and launching costs. This initial investigation lays the groundwork for further theoretical progress in the service analysis and platform deployment of NTN.

Implicit policy constraint for offline reinforcement learning

Offline reinforcement learning(RL)aims to learn policies entirely from passively collected datasets,making it a data‐driven decision *** of the main challenges in offline RL is the distribution shift problem,which causes the algorithm to visit out‐of‐distribution(OOD)*** distribution shift can be mitigated by constraining the divergence between the target policy and the behaviour ***,this method can overly constrain the target policy and impair the algorithm's performance,as it does not directly distinguish between in‐distribution and OOD *** addition,it is difficult to learn and represent multi‐modal behaviour policy when the datasets are collected by several different behaviour *** overcome these drawbacks,the au-thors address the distribution shift problem by implicit policy constraints with energy‐based models(EBMs)rather than explicitly modelling the behaviour *** EBM is powerful for representing complex multi‐modal distributions as well as the ability to distinguish in‐distribution samples and *** results show that their method significantly outperforms the explicit policy constraint method and other *** addition,the learnt energy model can be used to indicate OOD visits and alert the possible failure.

Monocular Distance Estimated Based on PTZ Camera

This paper introduces an intelligent computational approach for extracting salient objects fromimages and estimatingtheir distance information with PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras. PTZ cameras have found wide applications innumerous public places, serving various purposes such as public securitymanagement, natural disastermonitoring,and crisis alarms, particularly with the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence and global infrastructuralprojects. In this paper, we combine Gauss optical principles with the PTZ camera’s capabilities of horizontal andpitch rotation, as well as optical zoom, to estimate the distance of the *** present a novel monocular objectdistance estimation model based on the Focal Length-Target Pixel size (FLTPs) relationship, achieving an accuracyrate of over 95% for objects within a 5 km range. The salient object extraction is achieved through a simplifiedconvolution kernel and the utilization of the object’s RGB features, which offer significantly faster computingspeeds compared to Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Additionally, we introduce the dark channel beforethe fog removal algorithm, resulting in a 20 dB increase in image definition, which significantly benefits distanceestimation. Our system offers the advantages of stability and low device load, making it an asset for public securityaffairs and providing a reference point for future developments in surveillance hardware.
