Effects of PwhT on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of weld Metals of Ni-Based Superalloy 617 and 263 for hyper-Supercritical Power Plants

It is well known that solid solution-strengthened alloy 617 and γ′ precipitation-strengthened alloy 263 have excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. hyper-supercritical power plants work at temperatures above 700 ℃, and these superalloys are considered candidate materials for steam turbines components of these power plants. In this study, gas tungsten arc weldability of these superalloys was evaluated, and the effects of post- weld heat treatment （PwhT） on the microstructural characteristics and the mechanical properties of their weld metals were investigated. Scanning transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive spectroscopy and electron probe microanalysis were utilized for the investigation. The experimental results confirmed that these weld metals had different characteristics in microstructure and mechanical properties. PwhT resulted in the precipitation of intergranular carbides, γ′ particles and an increase in tensile strength of these superalloy weld metals. Furthermore, fine γ′ particles, which were not detected in the as-welded metal of alloy 263, were precipitated after PwhT and those particles were the reason for the drastic increase in tensile strength.

Concerning the stability problem of functional equations, we introduce a general （m, n）- Cauchy-Jensen functional equation and establish new theorems about the hyers-Ulam stability of general （m, n）-Cauchy Jensen additive mappings in C^＊-algebras, which generalize the result＇s obtained for Cauchy-Jensen type additive mappings.

we propose a novel clustering algorithm using fast global kernel fuzzy c-means-F(FGKFCM-F), where F refers to kernelized feature space. This algorithm proceeds in an incremental way to derive the near-optimal solution by solving all intermediate problems using kernel-based fuzzy c-means-F(KFCM-F) as a local search procedure. Due to the incremental nature and the nonlinear properties inherited from KFCM-F, this algorithm overcomes the two shortcomings of fuzzy c-means(FCM): sen- sitivity to initialization and inability to use nonlinear separable data. An accelerating scheme is developed to reduce the compu-tational complexity without significantly affecting the solution quality. Experiments are carried out to test the proposed algorithm on a nonlinear artificial dataset and a real-world dataset of speech signals for consonant/vowel segmentation. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in improving clustering performance on both types of datasets.

A method based on die casting experiments and mathematic modeling is presented for the determination of the heat flow density （hFD） and interfacial heat transfer coefficient （IhTC） during the high pressure die casting （hPDC） *** were carried out using step shape casting and a commercial magnesium alloy,*** profiles were measured and recorded using thermocouples embedded inside the die. Based on these temperature readings,the hFD and IhTC were successfully determined and the calculation results show that the hFD and IhTC at the metal-die interface increases sharply right after the fast phase injection process until approaching their maximum values,after which their values decrease to a much lower level until the dies are *** patterns of heat transfer behavior were found between the die and the casting at different *** thinner the casting was,the more quickly the hFD and IhTC reached their steady ***,the values for both the hFD and IhTC values were different between die and casting at different thicknesses.

Agastache rugosa is a kind of herbal plant with good biological activity,which is used for both medicine and *** is mainly used for the treatment of gastritis,heat stroke and other *** esophagitis is an inflammatory disease with an increasing incidence and a younger age group of patients,which seriously affects the quality of life of *** this study,the anti-inflammatory effect of ethanol extract of Agastache rugosa at the cellular level and the protective effect on exophages injury in rats with acute reflux esophagitis were *** results showed that the ethanol extract of Agastache rugosa reduced the expression of cytokines and effectively inhibited the cellular inflammation regulated by NF-κ*** addition,the injury state of rat exophages tissue was significantly improved and the expression of inflammatory factors in exophages tissue was ***,the ethanol extract of Agastache rugosa exhibits excellent anti-inflammatory activity and has the potential as a natural medicinal resource for the treatment of reflux esophagitis.

Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) of the advanced composite materials is widely used in lightmass structural materials of air planes, ship and automobiles because of high strength and stiffness. In this study, experimental investigation was performed for each specimen. The square section members consist of aluminum, CFRP and hybrid (aluminum/CFRP) member, and hat-shaped section members consist of CFRP and hybrid (aluminum/CFRP) members specimen. Based on the collapse characteristics of aluminum square section member, the collapse characteristics and energy absorption capability of hat-shaped section members were analyzed. The axial static collapse tests were carried out for each section member. The collapse modes and the energy absorption capability of the members were analyzed. In the lightmass design aspect, the collapse characteristics and energy absorption capability of the members were compared.

Application of Integrated Database to the Casting Design

Construction of integrated database including casting shapes with their casting design, technical knowledge, and thermophysical properties of the casting alloys were introduced in the present study. Recognition tech- nique for casting design by industrial computer tomography was used for the construction of shape database. Technical knowledge of the casting processes such as ferrous and non-ferrous alloys and their manufacturing process of the castings were accumulated and the search engine for the knowledge was developed. Database of thermophysical properties of the casting alloys were obtained via the experimental study, and the properties were used for the in-house computer simulation of casting process. The databases were linked with intelligent casting expert system developed in center for e-design, KITECh. It is expected that the databases can help non casting experts to devise the casting and its process. Various examples of the application by using the databases were shown in the present study.

Background:heat stress(hS)is one of the most important threats for the current poultry ***,many efforts have been made to ameliorate the adverse effect of hS on poultry production;however,physiological and molecular mechanisms pertaining to hS are still limited in ***,the objective of the current study was to investigate functional alterations based on individual and integrated transcriptomes in the liver and jejunal mucosa tissues of broiler chickens exposed to hS ***:Broiler chickens exposed to hS showed decreased growth performance and increased corticosterone concentrations in the *** the transcriptome analysis,the number of differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were identified in the liver and jejunal mucosa by hS *** the liver,genes related to amino acid oxidation,tryptophan metabolism,lipid metabolism,oxidative phosphorylation,and immune responses were altered by hS,which support the reason why heat-stressed poultry had decreased productive *** the jejunal mucosa,genes related to defense systems,glutathione metabolism,detoxification of xenobiotics,and immune responses were differently expressed by hS *** integrated transcriptome analysis with DEGs found in the liver and jejunal mucosa showed a considerable connectivity between the core nodes in the constructed networks,which includes glutathione metabolism,xenobiotic metabolism,carbon metabolism,and several amino acid ***:The core network analysis may indicate that increased requirement of energy and amino acids in the jejunal mucosa of broiler chickens exposed to hS conditions is likely compromised by increased oxidation and synthesis of amino acids in the ***,our results may provide comprehensive insights for molecular and metabolic alterations of broiler chickens raised under hS conditions,which can aid in the development of the novel strategies to ameliorate the negative effect of hS on poultry
