The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mobile fin with a magnetism in the presence of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is carried out. Three types of nanoparticles, each having a different shape, are considered. These shapes include spherical(Fe_3O_4), cylindrical(Au), and platelet(Zn) configurations. The combination approach is utilized to evaluate the physical and thermal characteristics of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids, excluding the thermal conductivity and dynamic viscosity. These two properties are inferred by means of the interpolation method based on the volume fraction of nanoparticles. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian decomposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTM) is adopted to solve the conundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained results agree well with those numerical simulation results, indicating that this research is reliable. The influence of diverse factors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphical representations. Furthermore, the fluctuations in the heat transfer concerning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presence of the combination of spherical, cylindrical, and platelet nanoparticles is higher than that in the presence of the combination of only spherical and cylindrical nanoparticles. The temperature at the fin tip increases by 0.705 759% when the value of the Peclet number increases by 400%, while decreases by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman number increases by 400%.

Surface electrons in axion insulators are endowed with a topological layer degree of freedom followed by exotic transport phenomena, e.g., the layer Hall effect. Here, we propose that such a layer degree of freedom can be manipulated in a dissipationless way based on the antiferromagnetic MnBi2Te4with tailored domain structure. This makes MnBi2Te4a versatile platform to exploit the ‘layertronics’ to encode, process and store information. Importantly, the layer filter, layer valve and layer reverser devices can be achieved using the layer-locked chiral domain wall modes. The dissipationless nature of the domain wall modes makes the performance of the layertronic devices superior to those in spintronics and valleytronics. Specifically, the layer reverser, a layer version of the Datta–Das transistor, also fills up the blank in designing the valley reverser in valleytronics. Our work sheds light on constructing new generation electronic devices with high performance and low-energy consumption in the framework of layertronics.

Urotensin-I(UI)is a peptide belonging to the corticotropin-releasing hormone family,produced in the urophysis of *** investigation was undertaken to examine the effect of UI on the hypothalamo-hypophyseal-ovarian axis in the Mozambique tilapia,a cichlid *** the first experiment,administration of UI(2μg/100μL saline)for 22 days caused a significant reduction in the number of follicles at stages I,II,III(previtellogenic),IV(vitellogenic),and V(preovulatory),concomitant with a significant increase in the percent atresia of follicles at stages II,III,and IV than in *** the pituitary,gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH)-positive fibres were detected in the proximal pars distalis(PPD)in both controls and UI-treated fish;however,there was a significant reduction in the intensity and percent area of GnRH-immunoreactive fibres in fish treated with UI compared with *** serum luteinizing hormone(LH)level was significantly lower,whereas a significant rise in the serum level of cortisol was noticed in UI-treated fish compared with *** the second experiment,treatment with a low dose of UI(10 mM)did not affect the number of AcTH-secreting cells in vitro,but the number of these cells was significantly higher in high-dose UI(50 mM)-treated pituitaries compared to ***,the present investigation reveals for the first time that the treatment of UI affects the follicular development process through the downregulation of the GnRH-LH axis and activation of the pituitary-interrenal pathway in teleosts.

A global analysis of the introduction pathways and characteristics associated with non-native fish species introduction, establishment, and impacts

Background The invasion success of introduced freshwater fishes is influenced by many factors, including ecological, species, and socioeconomic characteristics. Most studies that document the importance of these characteristics are conducted at local scales and/or focus on a single step of the invasion process. In this study, we aim to determine the species characteristics, ecological characteristics, and socioeconomic characteristics of non-native freshwater fish invasions. Our assessment was done at the global scale and considers all three steps of the invasion(i.e., introduction, establishment, and impact). For this purpose, we applied generalized linear models to 20 variables collected for 307 non-native species and modeled them as a function of ecological characteristics(i.e., environmental features), species traits(i.e., functional and morphological), and socioeconomic characteristics(i.e., human use and introduction pathways). we considered the number of countries in which each species was introduced, established, or had ecological impacts as a proxy of invasion step success. we also explored the specifics of species introduced through the aquaculture and the ornamental fish trade *** we found that non-native freshwater fishes with broad diets, high parental care, and multiple introduction pathways are the most widely introduced and established worldwide. The number of countries with impacts reported was best explained by the type of introduction pathway(i.e., aquaculture or fisheries). Moreover, among non-native species introduced through aquaculture, those belonging to cypriniformes and having broad diets were the most widely introduced and established species.
