The ^(12)C+^(12)C fusion reaction was studied in the range of E_(c.m.)=8.9 to 21 MeV using the active-target Time projection *** full information on all tracks of the reaction products,cross sections of the^(12)C(^(12)C,^(8)Be)^(16)O_(g.s.)channel and the ^(12)C(^(12)C,3a)^(12)C channel could be measured down to the level of a few *** ^(12)C(^(12)C,^(8)Be)^(16)O_(g.s.)reaction channel was determined to be 10_(-8)^(+24) mb at E_(c.m.)=11.1 MeV,supporting the direct a transfer reaction *** ^(12)C(^(12)C,3α)^(12)C reaction channel was studied for the first time using an exclusive *** result does not confirm the anomaly behavior reported in the previous inclusive measurement by Kolata et al.[***.C 21,579(1980)].Our comparisons with statistical model calculations suggest that the 3 a channel is dominated by the fusion evaporation process at E_(c.m.)>19 *** additional contribution of the 3 a channel increases the fusion reaction cross section by 10% at energies above 20 *** also find that an additional reaction mechanism is needed to explain the measured cross section at E_(c.m.)which point the statistical model prediction vanishes.

Owing to the complex lithology of unconventional reservoirs,field interpreters usually need to provide a basis for interpretation using logging simulation *** the various detection tools that use nuclear sources,the detector response can reflect various types of information of the *** Monte Carlo method is one of the primary methods used to obtain nuclear detection responses in complex ***,this requires a computational process with extensive random sampling,consumes considerable resources,and does not provide real-time response ***,a novel fast forward computational method(FFCM)for nuclear measurement that uses volumetric detection constraints to rapidly calculate the detector response in various complex environments is ***,the data library required for the FFCM is built by collecting the detection volume,detector counts,and flux sensitivity functions through a Monte Carlo ***,based on perturbation theory and the Rytov approximation,a model for the detector response is derived using the flux sensitivity function method and a one-group diffusion *** environmental perturbation is constrained to optimize the model according to the tool structure and the impact of the formation and borehole within the effective detection ***,the method is applied to a neutron porosity tool for *** various complex simulation environments,the maximum relative error between the calculated porosity results of Monte Carlo and FFCM was 6.80%,with a rootmean-square error of 0.62 *** field well applications,the formation porosity model obtained using FFCM was in good agreement with the model obtained by interpreters,which demonstrates the validity and accuracy of the proposed method.

This study aimed to investigate the dose-effect of iron on growth performance,antioxidant *** morphology,and mRNA expression of jejunal tight junction protein in 1-to21-d-old yellow-feathered broilers.A total of 7201-d-old yellow-feathered maleb roilers were allocated to 9 treatments with 8 replicate cages of 10 birds per *** dietary treatments were consisted of a basal diet(contained 79.6 mg Fe kg^(-1))supplemented with 0,20,40,60,80,160,320,640,and 1,280 mg Fe kg^(-1)in the form of FeSO_(4)·7H_(2)*** with the birds in the control group,birds supplemented with 20mg Fe kg^(-1)had higher average daily gain(ADG)(ppppared with supplementation of 20mg Fe kg^(-1).Malondialdehyde(MDA)concentration in plasma and duodenum increased linearly(plinearly(ppwith increased dietary Fe *** villus height(VH)in duodenum and jejunum,and the ratio of villus height to crypt depth(V/C)in duodenum decreased linearly(p?0.05)as dietary *** dietary Fe increased,the jejunal relative mRNA abundance of claudin-1 decreased linearly(p=0.001),but the jejunal relative mRNA abundance of zona occludens-1(ZO-1)and occludin decreased linearly(p?0.05)or quadratically(p?0.05).Compared with the supplementation of 20 mg Fe kg^(-1),the supplementation of640 mg Fe kg^(-1)or higher increased(p?0.05)MDA concentrations in plasma,duodenum,and jejunum,decreased VH in the duodenum and jejunum,and the addition of 1,280 mg Fe kg^(-1)reduced(p?0.05)the jejunal tight junction protein(claudin-1,ZO-1,occludin)mRNA *** summary,640 mg of supplemental Fe kg^(-1)or greater was associated with decreased growth performance,increased oxidative stress,disrupted intestinal morphology,and reduced mRNA expression of jejunal tight junction protein.

An adaptive control approach is presented in this paper for tracking desired trajectories in interactive manipulators. The controller design incorporates prescribed performance functions (ppFs) to improve dynamic performance. Notably, the performance of the output error is confined in an envelope characterized by exponential convergence, leading to convergence to zero. This feature ensures a prompt response from admittance control and establishes a reliable safety framework for interactions. Simulation results provide practical insights,demonstrating the viability of the control scheme proposed in this paper.

The biopharmaceutical industry contributes substantially to volatile organic compounds(VOCs)emissions,causing growing concerns and social developmental *** study conducted an on-site investigation of the process-based emission of VOCs from three biopharmaceutical *** the workshops of the three enterprises,26 VOCs were detected,which could be sorted into 4 classes:hydrocarbons,aromatic hydrocarbons,oxygen-containing compounds,and nitrogen-containing *** were the main components of waste gases,accounting for 44.13%-77.85%of the overall ***-based source profiles were compiled for each process unit,with the fermentation and extraction units of tiamulin fumarate being the main source of VOC *** heptanone,vinyl acetate,diethylamine,propylene glycol methyl ether(pGME),and benzene were screened as priority pollutants through a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation *** level concentration simulation results of the Gauss plume diffusion model demonstrated that the diffusivity of VOCs in the atmosphere was relatively high,indicating potential non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic risks 1.5-2 km ***,the process-based formation potentials of ozone and secondary organic aerosols(SOAs)were determined and indicated that N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone,dimethyl heptanone,and pGME should be preferentially controlled to reduce the ozone formation potential,whereas the control of benzene and chlorobenzene should be prioritized to reduce the generation of *** results provide a basis for understanding the characteristics of VOC emission by biopharmaceutical industries and their diffusion,potentially allowing the development of measures to reduce health risks and secondary pollution.

Image quality assessment(IQA) model is designed to measure the image quality in consistent with subjective ratings by computational models. In this research, a valid no reference IQA(NR-IQA) model for color image sharpness assessment is proposed based on local color difference map in a color space. In the proposed model, the absolute color difference variation and relative color difference variation are combined to evaluate sharpness in YIQ color space(a color coordinate system for the development of the United States color television system). The difference between sharpest and blurriest spot of an image is represented by the absolute color difference variation, and relative color difference variation expresses the variation in the image content. Extensive experiments are performed on five publicly available benchmark synthetic blur databases and two real blur databases, and the results prove that the proposed model work better than the other state-of-the-art and latest NR-IQA models for the prediction accuracy on blurry images. Besides, the model maintains the lowest computational complexity.

In recent years,Enhanced Geothermal System(EGS)technologies have been applied to the geothermal resources production in the Hot Dry Rock(HDR).The core of EGS technologies is to adopt hydraulic fracturing in the reservoir to create a connected network of discrete fractures with the consideration of water as a working fluid for hydraulic fracturing and heat *** paper investigates the characteristics of water flow behaviors through a single rough fracture under different temperature and pressure conditions.A single fracture model with rough fracture surfaces is constructed and then characterized,and influences of the anisotropic factor on the average tortuosity and frictional resistance coefficient of water flow through a single fracture with rough surfaces have been compared and *** consideration of other impacting factors(temperature,pressure,fracture roughness),the impact of mass flow rate has also been *** simulation results present that changes of average tortuosity for water flow through a single rough facture are mainly affected by *** can be observed that higher temperature leads to larger average tortuosity but the frictional resistance coefficient shows an opposite *** for pressure conditions,it is found that effects of pressure on average tortuosity and frictional resistance coefficient is very small,which can be neglected under high pressure ***,the average tortuosity shows a progressively linear relationship with the mass flow *** the contrary,the frictional resistance coefficient has a negative relationship with the mass flow *** is revealed that when the mass flow rate reaches a critical point,the influences of temperature on the frictional resistance coefficient will be *** of single rough fractures with different anisotropic factors show that values of average tortuosity and frictional resistance coefficient have positive relationships with the increase

Adversarial training with online-generated adversarial examples has achieved promising performance in defending adversarial attacks and improving robustness of convolutional neural network ***,most existing adversarial training methods are dedicated to finding strong adversarial examples for forcing the model to learn the adversarial data distribution,which inevitably imposes a large computational overhead and results in a decrease in the generalization performance on clean *** this paper,we show that progressively enhancing the adversarial strength of adversarial examples across training epochs can effectively improve the model robustness,and appropriate model shifting can preserve the generalization performance of models in conjunction with negligible computational *** this end,we propose a successive perturbation generation scheme for adversarial training(SpGAT),which progressively strengthens the adversarial examples by adding the perturbations on adversarial examples transferred from the previous epoch and shifts models across the epochs to improve the efficiency of adversarial *** proposed SpGAT is both efficient and effective;e.g.,the computation time of our method is 900 min as against the 4100 min duration observed in the case of standard adversarial training,and the performance boost is more than 7%and 3%in terms of adversarial accuracy and clean accuracy,*** extensively evaluate the SpGAT on various datasets,including small-scale MNIST,middle-scale CIFAR-10,and large-scale *** experimental results show that our method is more efficient while performing favorably against state-of-the-art methods.
