Comparison of Treatment Efficacy of Different Number of Botulinum Toxin Type A Injection Sites for Crow's Feet Lines: A Single-Center Retrospective Clinical Study in Vietnam

Objective: Botulinum toxin type A is frequently used to treat crow's feet lines. h.wever, th. optimal dose and injection sites are still controversial. Th. objective of th.s study was to compare th. efficacy of different botulinum toxin type A injection patterns for th. treatment of crow's feet. Meth.ds: Th.s single-center, retrospective, clinical study was conducted at th. National h.spital of Dermatology and Venereology from July 2020 to December 2020. Data on 60 patients with.crow's feet were collected and divided into 2 groups (3- or 4-point intramuscular injection) according to th. intramuscular injection tech.ique th. patients received. Th. treatment efficacy was assessed based on th. ch.nges in th. Crow's Feet Grading Scale score at 1, 4, and 16 weeks after treatment. Repeated measures analysis of variance was used for th. assessment of ch.nges in scores over time between th. two groups. Results: After treatment, th. average Crow's Feet Grading Scale score was significantly decreased compared with.th. pretreatment score at all timepoints (1, 4, and 16 weeks) in both.states (dynamic: For 3-point intramuscular injection tech.ique, 1 week: 1.90 ± 0.71 vs. 2.97 ± 0.56; 4 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.68 vs. 2.97 ± 0.56; 16 weeks: 2.60 ± 0.67 vs. 2.97 ± 0.56. For 4-point intramuscular injection tech.ique, 1 week: 1.73 ± 0.83 vs. 3.03 ± 0.49; 4 weeks: 1.73 ± 0.74 vs. 3.03 ± 0.49; 16 weeks: 2.57 ± 0.68 vs. 3.03 ± 0.49, all P h.ique, 1 week: 1.20 ± 0.89 vs. 2.20 ± 0.85; 4 weeks: 1.20 ± 0.89 vs. 2.20 ± 0.85; 16 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.97 vs. 2.20 ± 0.85; For 4-point intramuscular injection tech.ique, 1 week: 1.50 ± 0.86 vs. 2.30 ± 0.84; 4 weeks: 1.33 ± 0.84 vs. 2.30 ± 0.84; 16 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.97 vs. 2.30 ± 0.84. Aluminum doping for optimization of ultrath.n and h.gh.k dielectric layer based on SrTiO3

Modeling th. Effect of Th.rmal Diffusion Process from Nuclear Power Plants in Vietnam

In th.s study, we evaluate th. ecological impact of effluent cooling water from th. Ninh.Th.an nuclear power plant II, using a two-dimensional h.draulic model to simulate th.rmal diffusion from th. effluent outfall. Sites selected for th.s study were Ninh.Th.an nuclear power plant and Vinh.h.i seawater in four different scenarios. Th.s paper utilized th. relationsh.p between surface water temperature and th. water temperature at a depth.of -15 m to calculate th. water temperature at intake and outlet at a depth.of -14 m. A combination between th. results of interpolated and results of model sh.wed th.t effluent cooling water from Ninh.Th.an plant affected th. largest incidence about 2450 m in th. North. 880 m in th. South.and 960 m in th. West. It can be considered as safe distance to not to affect th. coral reefs ecosystem in th. North.and sea turtle conservation area in th. South. Th.s study was first in th.s region to h.ve an integrated approach.using two-dimensional model.

Th. effects of bismuth.and th. combination of bismuth.and strontium on th. eutectic silicon structure in Al-7Si-0.4Mg alloys were investigated under different solidification *** results sh.w th.t bismuth.h.s a refining effect on th. eutectic silicon and its refinement beh.vior increases with.increasing Bi content up to 0.5% （mass fraction）.Wh.n bismuth.is added into th. molten alloy modified with.strontium,a h.gh.r Sr/Bi mass ratio of at least 0.45 is required to attain full modification of th. eutectic silicon.

Patternable production of SrTiO_(3) nanoparticles using 1-W laser directly on flexible h.midity sensor platform based on ITO/SrTiO_(3)/CNT

Perovskite oxides like S rTiO_(3) at th. nanoscale are of interest for eme rging applications,including h.gh.k dielectrics and ***,th.ir synth.sis requires long calcination at th. elevated temperature,wh.ch.is a barrier of th.ir application to flexible ***,an effective laser-assisted sol-gel meth.d to patternably produce S rTiO_(3) na noparticles(-100 nm)in selective areas on polyimide substrates(coated with.ITO)is ***,th. violet-laser power is just 1 W but sufficient to crystallize th. material in a sh.rt period(a few seconds).Furth.rmore,developing a flexible device platform using carbon nanotubes(CNT)and SrTiO_(3) nanoparticles for detection of h.midity ch.nges at room temperature is *** sensor platform h.s both.capacitive and resistive sensing *** resistive mode with.a lower power usage(about 0.2μW)is suitable for long monitoring of h.midity in th. range of2%Rh.and *** capacitive mode with.h.gh.r sensitivity,faster response/recovery time(1-3 min),and lower detection limit(0.5%Rh.can be used for calibration *** performance of th. flexible sensor is still maintained after 5000 bending cycles at 1.5-cm ***,our synth.sis meth.d and th. flexible sensor sh.w ch.nces for mass-producing perovskite oxides at low cost for wearable electronics.

Progresses on th. development of a h.gh.repetition rate mid-IR laser source suitable for th. next gen- eration of h.gh.field ph.sics experiments are reported. Th. presented optical parametric ch.rped pulse amplification （OPCPA） source currently delivers carrier-envelope ph.se （CEP）-stable 67-fs duration optical pulses with.up to 18-μJ output energy at 160-kh. repetition rate. Th. focusability of th. output beam （M^2 -2） enables peak intensities exceeding 1014 W/cm^2 and th. record output energy stability-below 1% power fluctuation over 4.5 h.makes th.s source a key enabler for th. strong field ph.sics community.

Novel enzymatically crosslinked ch.tosan h.drogels with.free-radical-scavenging property and promoted cellular beh.viors under h.perglycemia

Th. impairment of regenerative processes induced by h.gh.blood-glucose level(h.perglycemia) and excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS) contributes to th. diabetic complication progression and development. In th.s study, an injectable, in situ crosslinkable ch.tosan h.drogel with.ROS-scavenging capability was developed by conjugating gallic acid onto th. ch.tosan backbone(CGA). We h.poth.sized th.t gallic acid serves as both.antioxidant and crosslinking moieties to form h.drogel in situ by means of enzymatic crosslinking with.h.rseradish.peroxidase(h.P). Th. rapid gelation(from 30 s) was observed by vial tilting. Th. mech.nical properties and microstructures of CGA h.drogels can be well controlled by varying th. concentrations of h.O2. Th. ROSscavenging ability of th.se CGA h.drogels was demonstrated against DPPh.radical, h.droxyl radical, and total reducing power. Notably, in an in vitro h.perglycemia environment, CGA h.drogels significantly improved th. proliferation and migration of h.man dermal fibroblast cells, wh.ch.are closely related to diabetic wound h.aling. Th.se results suggest th.t CGA h.drogels h.ve potential as advanced materials for th. treatment of diabetes-related diseases via attenuating th. excessive ROS production and improving cellular beh.viors.

Effect of Sulfur Fertilization on Productivity and Grain Zinc Yield of Rice Grown under Low and Adequate Soil Zinc Applications

Th.s study aimed to investigate th. responses in rice(Oryza sativa *** 97)production and grain zinc(Zn)accumulation to combined Zn and sulfur(S)*** experiment was designed as a factorial experiment with.two Zn and th.ee S concentrations applied to th. soil in a completely randomized design with.four *** plants were grown under greenh.use conditions at low(0.25 mg/kg)and adequate(5 mg/kg)Zn rates combined with.S(CaSO_(4)·2h.(2)O)application(low,2.5 mg/kg;moderate,10 mg/kg,and adequate,50 mg/kg).Th. lowest rate of S at adequate soil Zn treatment increased grain yield by 68%compared with.th. same S rate at low Zn *** with.th. adequate S rate at low Zn and adequate Zn supply produced th. h.gh.st grain yield,with.increases of 247%and 143%compared with.low S rate at low Zn and adequate Zn supply,*** concentration of grain Zn and S responded differently to th. applied S rates depending on th. soil Zn *** h.gh.st grain Zn concentration,reach.ng 41.5 mg/kg,was observed wh.n adequate Zn was supplied at th. low S ***,th. adequate S rate at th. low soil Zn conditions yielded th. h.gh.st grain S *** total grain Zn uptake per plant sh.wed particular increases in grain Zn yield wh.n adequate S rates were applied,sh.wing increases of 208%and 111%compared with.low S rate under low and adequate soil Zn conditions,*** results indicated th.t th. synergistic application of soil Zn and S improves grain production and grain Zn *** results h.gh.igh. th. importance of total grain Zn yield in addition to grain Zn concentration,especially under th. growth.conditions wh.re grain yield sh.ws particular increases as grain Zn is diluted due to increased grain yield by increasing S fertilization.
