There is growing attention from governments and regulators towards crucial matters such as climate change and global warming,resulting in a pressing need to investigate the factors that make it possible for businesses to engage in green finance(GF).The externality of environmental pollution prioritizes the need of green innovation(GI)in public *** distributes financial resources to the research and development(R&D)of clean energy and environmentally friendly goods and processes;it is complementary to the GI process for environmental *** policies help to alleviate the impacts of financial constraints and GI impaired industries involving new products,processes,services and the global *** better understand how GF and GI have functioned as a catalyst for circular economy practices,this paper seeks to present a historical and contemporary overview of these *** research is thoroughly dissected by a systematic literature evaluation of articles from 2016 to 2023 that appear in peer-reviewed journals and are indexed in the SCOPUS *** attain supply chain circularity,this article encompasses four major research themes concerning the adoption of GF and green *** research also includes a network analysis of shortlisted articles to examine the overall citation *** is shown that several institutional theories are associated with the investigated *** a final step,a framework is provided to illustrate how GF and GIs might be used to achieve supply chain *** research findings provide a novel concept related to GF within the context of GI which are significant for environmentalists,policymakers,green investors,and *** its findings,the study provides a conceptual framework that promotes sustainable strategies to effectively balance financial considerations and environmental *** helps to leverage the potential of green research and practice to create value for businesses and to benefi

Image smog restoration using oblique gradient profile prior and energy minimization

Removing the smog from digital images is a challenging pre-processing tool in various imaging ***,many smog removal(i.e.,desmogging)models are proposed so far to remove the effect of smog from *** desmogging models are based upon a physical model,it means it requires efficient estimation of transmission map and atmospheric veil from a single smoggy ***,many prior based restoration models are proposed in the literature to estimate the transmission map and an atmospheric ***,these models utilized computationally extensive minimization of an energy ***,the existing restoration models suffer from various issues such as distortion of texture,edges,and ***,in this paper,a convolutional neural network(CNN)is used to estimate the physical attributes of smoggy *** gradient channel prior(OGCP)is utilized to restore the smoggy ***,a dataset of smoggy and sunny images are ***,we have trained CNN to estimate the smog gradient from smoggy ***,based upon the computed smog gradient,OGCP is utilized to restore the still smoggy *** analyses reveal that the proposed CNN-OGCP based desmogging model outperforms the existing desmogging models in terms of various performance metrics.

Insight to drug delivery aspects for colorectal cancer

Colorectal cancer(CRC) is the third most common cancer diagnosed worldwide in human beings. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and targeted therapiesare the conventional four approaches which are currently used for the treatment of CRC. The site specific delivery of chemotherapeutics to their site of action would increase effectiveness with reducing side effects. Targeted oral drug delivery systems based on polysaccharides are being investigated to target and deliver chemotherapeutic and chemopreventive agents directly to colon and rectum. Site-specific drug delivery to colon increases its concentration at the target site, and thus requires a lower dose and hence abridged side effects. Some novel therapies are also briefly discussed in article such as receptor(epidermal growth factor receptor, folate receptor, wheat germ agglutinin, VEGF receptor, hyaluronic acid receptor) based targeting therapy; colon targeted proapoptotic anticancer drug delivery system, gene therapy. Even though good treatment options are available for CRC, the ultimate therapeutic approach is to avert the incidence of CRC. It was also found that CRCs could be prevented by diet and nutrition such as calcium, vitamin D, curcumin, quercetin and fish oil supplements. Immunotherapy and vaccination are used nowadays which are showing better results against CRC.

In DNA-guided hepatitis B treatment, viral load is insufficient, and requires other viral markers for treatment of hepatitis B patients as in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic hepatitis B, end-stage renal disease on dialysis, human immunodeficiency virus co-infected patients. There are exceptions to this rule： a residual level hepatitis B virus （HBV） DNA at 24 wk predicts beneficial outcome and reduced resistance at i year. The genotypic viral resistance to antiviral agents and occult HBV infection can be determined by HBV-DNA levels.

Bioelectrochemical systems （BES） have been extensively studied ｜br resource recovery from wastewater. By taking advantage of interactions between microorganisms and electrodes, BES can accomplish wastewater treatment while simultaneously recovering various resources including nutrients, energy and water （＂NEW＂）. Despite much progress in laboratory sit, dies, BES have not been advanced to practical applications. This paper aims to provide some subjective opinions and a concise discussion of several key challenges in BES-based resource recovery and help identil- the potential application niches that may guide further technological development. In addition to further increasing recovery efficiency, it is also important to have more lbcus on the applications of the recovered resources such as how to use the harvested electricity and gaseous energy and how to separate the recovered nutrients in an energy-efficient way. A changc in mindset fur energy performance of BES is necessary to understand overall energy production and consumption. Scaling up BES can go through laboratory scale, transitional scale, and then pilot scale. Using functions as driving forces lbr BES research and development will better guide the investment of efforts.

Spontaneous bacterial peritonitis:Few additional points

Spontaneous bacterial peritonitis （SBP） is a treatable complication of decompensated cirrhosis. Coagulopathy with evidence of hyperfibrinolysis or clinically evident disseminated intravascular coagulation precludes paracentesis. Alcoholic hepatitis with fever, leucocytosis and abdominal pain should be evaluated for SBP. Oral ofloxacin is as effective as parenteral cefotaxime in treatment of SBP except for inpatients with vomiting, encephalopathy, or renal failure. Albumin is superior to hydroxyethyl starch in treatment of SBR

The spread of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has already taken on pandemic extents,influencing even more than 200 nations in a couple of ***,regulation measures in China have decreased new cases by over 98%,this decrease is not the situation everywhere,and most of the countries still have been affected by *** objective of this research work is to make a comparative analysis of the top 5 most populated countries namely United States,India,China,Pakistan and Indonesia,from 1st January 2020 to 31st July *** research work also targets to predict an increase in the number of deaths and total infected cases in these five *** our research,the performance of the proposed framework is determined by using three Machine Learning(ML)regression algorithms namely Linear Regression(LR),Support Vector Regression(SVR),andRandom Forest(RF)*** proposed model is also validated upon the infected and death cases of further *** performance of these three algorithms is compared using the RootMean Square Error(RMSE)*** Forest algorithm shows best performance as compared to other proposed algorithms,with the lowest RMSE value in the prediction of total infected and total deaths cases for all the top five most populated countries.

Self-expanding metallic esophageal stents:A long way to go before a particular stent can be recommended

We agree that the covered self-expanding metal stents (SEMSs) fare better than the uncovered stents as recurrent dysphagia due to tumor ingrowth is common with uncovered stent. Recent American College of Gastroenterology Practice Guideline on the Role of Esophageal Stents in Benign and Malignant Diseases concludes that SEMSs cannot be routinely recommended in conjunction with chemo-radiation. The comparison of ultraflex and choostent in the Italian study found no difference in the palliation of dysphagia, rate of complications and survival rate.
