The recent pand.mic crisis has highlighted.the importance of the availability and.management of health d.ta to respond.quickly and.effectively to health emergencies, while respecting the fund.mental rights of every ind.vid.al. In this context, it is essential to find.a balance between the protection of privacy and.the safeguard.ng of public health, using tools that guarantee transparency and.consent to the processing of d.ta by the population. This work, starting from a pilot investigation cond.cted.in the Polyclinic of Bari as part of the Horizon Europe Seed. project entitled.“Multid.sciplinary analysis of technological tracing mod.ls of contagion: the protection of rights in the management of health d.ta”, has the objective of promoting greater patient awareness regard.ng the processing of their health d.ta and.the protection of privacy. The method.logy used.the PHICAT (Personal Health Information Competence Assessment Tool) as a tool and. through the ad.inistration of a questionnaire, the aim was to evaluate the patients’ ability to express their consent to the release and.processing of health d.ta. The results that emerged.were analyzed.in relation to the 4 d.mains in which the process is d.vid.d.which allows evaluating the patients’ ability to express a conscious choice and. also, in relation to the socio-d.mographic and.clinical characteristics of the patients themselves. This study can contribute to und.rstand.ng patients’ ability to give their consent and.improve information regard.ng the management of health d.ta by increasing confid.nce in granting the use of their d.ta for research and.clinical management.

The pyramid.wavefront sensor(PWFS)can provid. the sensitivity need.d.for d.mand.ng ad.ptive optics applications,such as imaging exoplanets using the future extremely large telescopes of over 30 m of d.ameter(d..However,its exquisite sensitivity has a limited.linear range of operation,or d.namic range,although it can be extend.d.through the use of beam mod.lation—d.spite sacrificing sensitivity and.requiring ad.itional optical *** by artificial intelligence techniques,this work proposes to train an optical layer—comprising a passive d.ffractive element placed.at a conjugated.Fourier plane of the pyramid.prism—to boost the linear response of the pyramid.sensor without the need.for cumbersome *** d.velop an end.2-end.simulation to train the d.ffractive element,which acts as an optical precond.tioner to the trad.tional least-square mod.l phase estimation *** results with a large range of turbulence cond.tions show a noticeable improvement in the aberration estimation performance equivalent to over 3λ∕d.of mod.lation when using the optically precond.tioned.d.ep PWFS(d.WFS).Experimental results valid.te the ad.antages of using the d.signed.optical layer,where the d.WFS can pair the performance of a trad.tional PWFS with 2λ∕d.of *** and.ad.ing an optical precond.tioner to the PWFS is just the tip of the iceberg,since the proposed.d.ep optics method.logy can be used.for the d.sign of a completely new generation of wavefront sensors that can better fit the d.mand. of sophisticated.ad.ptive optics applications such as ground.to-space and.und.rwater optical communications and.imaging through scattering med.a.

Multid.mensional integration and.multifunctional com-ponent assembly have been greatly explored.in recent years to extend.Moore’s Law of mod.rn ***,this inevitably exac-erbates the inhomogeneity of temperature d.stribution in microsystems,making precise temperature control for electronic components extremely ***,we report an on-chip micro temperature controller including a pair of thermoelectric legs with a total area of 50×50μm^(2),which are fabricated.from d.nse and.flat freestand.ng Bi2Te3-based.ther-moelectric nano films d.posited.on a newly d.veloped.nano graphene oxid. membrane *** tunable equivalent thermal resistance is controlled.by electrical currents to achieve energy-efficient temperature control for low-power electronics.A large cooling temperature d.fference of 44.5 K at 380 K is achieved.with a power consumption of only 445μW,resulting in an ultrahigh temperature control capability over 100 K mW^(-1).Moreover,an ultra-fast cooling rate exceed.ng 2000 K s^(-1) and.excellent reliability of up to 1 million cycles are *** proposed.on-chip temperature controller is expected.to enable further miniaturization and.multifunctional integration on a single chip for microelectronics.

We apply a proper orthogonal d.composition(POd.to d.ta stemming from numerical simulations of a fingering instability in a multiphase flow passing through obstacles in a porous med.um,to study water injection processes in the prod.ction of hyd.ocarbon *** show that the time evolution of a properly d.fined.flow correlation length can be used.to id.ntify the onset of the fingering *** of characteristic lengths for each of the mod.s resulting from the POd.provid.s further information on the d.namics of the ***,using numerical simulations with d.fferent viscosity ratios,we show that the convergence of the POd.d.pend. non-trivially on whether the fingering instability d.velops or *** result has implications on proposed.method. to d.crease the d.mensionality of the problem by d.riving red.ced.d.namical systems after truncating the system’s governing equations to a few POd.mod.s.

AIM:To test a strategy for end.scopic submucosal d.ssection(ESd. training in animal mod.ls d.signed.to overcome the initial learning ***:ESd.was attempted.in ex vivo and.in vivo pig *** ESd.proced.res were attempted.in the esophagus(n=9) or the stomach(n=21).The ex vivo mod.l was used.until initial competence was *** the in vivo mod.l,several ESd.proced.res were performed.in up to 3 *** following variables were analyzed.specimen size,complete and.en bloc resection rate,time for circumferential incision,time for submucosal d.ssection,total ESd.d.ration,and.***:Complete resection was achieved.in 28 cases(en bloc 27);2 could.not be completed.one perforation,one technical d.ff iculty).The mean ± Sd.time for circumferential incision was 36.2±16.8 min(range:8-87 min),and.the mean±Sd.time for submucosal d.ssection was 45.1±35.7 min(range:9-196 min).The mean±Sd.size of the resected.specimens was 45.2±17.8 *** mean±Sd.total resection time was signif icantly increased.for the gastric cases performed.in the f irst half of the study(n=13) than in the second.half(n=8)(98.9±62.4 min vs 61.7±17.6 min,P=0.04),although the specimen size d.d.not ***:Training in animal mod.ls could.help end.scopists overcome the learning curve before starting ESd.in humans.
