Consumption of processed foods—which are generally composed of nutritionally starved refined ingredients—has increased exponentially worldwide.A rise in public health awareness that low fiber intake is strongly linked to new-age disorders has spurred food manufacturers to fortify processed foods with refined dietary fibers(RDFs).Consumption of whole foods rich in natural fibers undoubtedly confers an array of health ***,it is not clear whether RDFs extracted from the whole plant,kernel,and fruit peels exert similar physiological effects to their naturally occurring *** studies caution that RDFs are not universally beneficial and that inappropriate consumption of RDFs may risk both gastrointestinal and liver ***,we briefly summarize the beneficial and detrimental effects of RDFs on digestive health and discuss the contribution of metabolites derived from microbial fermentation of RDFs in driving such positive or negative health outcomes.

In the present work, we synthesized sm2O3 doped snO2 in order to prepare a selective acetone sensor with fast response, quick recovery and good repeatability. Pure as well as 2 mol.%, 4 mol.%, 6 mol.% and 8 mol.% sm2O3 doped snO2 nanostructured samples were synthesized by using a co-precipitation method. The characterization of the samples was done by thermogravimetric and differential thermo-gravimetric analysis（TG-DTA）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, field emission gun-scanning electron microscopy（FEG-sEM）, energy dispersive analysis by X-rays（EDAX）, high resolution scanning electron microscopy（HR-TEM）, selected area X-ray diffraction（sAED）, Brunauer-Emmet-Teller（BET） and ultraviolet-visible-near infrared（UV-Vis-NIR） spectroscopy techniques. The gas response studies of liquid petroleum gas, ammonia, ethanol and acetone vapor were carried out. The results showed that sm doping systematically lowered operating temperature and enhanced the gas response and selectivity for acetone. The response and recovery time for 6 mol.% sm2O3 doped snO2 thick film at the operating temperature of 250 °C were 15 and 24 s, respectively.

The exponential increase in IoT device usage has spawned numerous cyberspace *** devices,sensors,and actuators bridge the gap between physical processes and the cyber network in a cyber-physical system(CPs).Cyber-physical system is a complex system from a security perspective due to the heterogeneous nature of its components and the fact that IoT devices can serve as an entry point for *** adversaries design their attack strategies on systems to gain an advantage at a relatively lower cost,whereas abusive adversaries initiate an attack to inflict maximum damage without regard to cost or *** this paper,a sensor spoofing attack is modelled as a malicious adversary attempting to cause system failure by interfering with the feedback control *** is accomplished by feeding spoofed sensor values to the controller and issuing erroneous commands to the *** on a simulink-simulated linear CPs support the proof of concept for the proposed abusive ideology,demonstrating three attack *** impact of the evaluations stresses the importance of testing the CPs security against adversaries with abusive settings for preventing ***,the research concludes by highlighting the limitations of the proposed work,followed by recommendations for the future.

The long-term seepage of hydrocarbons, either as macroseepage or microseepage, can set up near-surface oxidation reduction zones that favor the development of a diverse array of chemical and mineralogical changes. The bacterial oxidation of light hydrocarbons can directly or indirectly bring about significant changes in the values of pH and Eh of the surrounding environment, thereby also changing the stability fields of the different mineral species present in that environment. The paper reports the role of hydrocarbon microseepage in surface alterations of trace metal concentrations. In this study trace metal alterations were mapped that appear to be associated with hydrocarbon microseepages in the oil/ gas fields. A total of 50 soil samples were collected near oil and gas fields of the Tatipaka and Pasarlapudi areas of the Krishna Godavari Basin, Andhra Pradesh. The soil samples were collected from a depth of 2-2.5 m. The paper reports the chemical alterations associated with trace metals in soils that are related to hydrocarbon microseepages above some of the major oil and gas fields of this petroliferous region. Trace metals, such as scandium （sc）, vanadium （V）, chromium （Cr）, cobalt （Co）, nickel （Ni）, copper （Cu）, zinc （Zn）, barium （Ba） and strontium （sr）, in soil samples were analyzed using inductively coupled plasma- mass spectrometry （ICP-Ms）. The concentrations of sc （8 to 40 mg/kg）, V （197 to 489 mg/kg）, Cr （106 to 287 mg/kg）, Co （31 to 52 mg/kg）, Ni （65 to 110 mg/kg）, Cu （88 to 131 mg/kg）, Zn （88 to 471 mg/kg）, Ba （263 to 3,091 mg/kg） and sr （119 to 218 mg/kg） were obtained. It was observed that the concentrations of trace elements were tremendously increased when they were compared with their normal concentrations in soils. The analysis of adsorbed soil gas showed the presence of high concentrations of YC2＋（C2H6, C3H8 and n-C4H10） ranging from 7 to 222 μg/kg respectively. Objective:To conduct a comparative analysis of the VP4 gene sequences of Indian wild type (06361,0613158,061060 and 0715880) and cell culture adapted(06361-CA,0613158-CA.061060- CA and 0715880-CA) G1P[8]rotavirus ***:Full-length VP4 genes of each of the four wild type G1P[8]rotavirus strains and their cell culture adapted counterparts displaying consistent cytopathic effect were subjected to RT-PCR amplification and nucleotide sequencing. Results:All four cell culture adapted G1P[8]rotavirus strains showed nucleotide and amino acid substitutions in the VP4 gene as compared to their wild type *** number of substitutions however,varied from 1-64 and 1-13 *** substitutions were distributed in both VP5* and VP8* subunits of VP4 gene respectively of permeabilizalion and hemagglutinaling activity. The presence of unique amino acid substitutions was identified in two of the four wild type(V377G. s387N in 061060 and 1644L in 0715880) and all four cell culture adapted(A46V in 0613158-CA. T60R in 06361-CA,L237V.G389V and Q480H in 061060-CA and s615G and T625P in 0715880-CA) strains for the first time in the VP4 gene of P[8]*** acid substitutions generated increase in the hydrophilicity in the cell culture adapted rotavirus strains as compared to their corresponding wild type ***:Amino acid substitutions detected in the VP4 genes of G1P[8]rotavirus strains from this study together with those from other studies highlight occurrence of only strain and/or host specific substitutions during cell culture adaptation. Further evaluation of such substitutions for their role in attenuation,immunogenicity and conformation is needed for the development of newer rolavirus vaccines.

The incidence of biliary injury after laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC) has shown a declining trend though it may still be twice that as with open cholecystectomy. Major biliary or vasculobiliary injury is associated with significant morbidity. As prevention is the best strategy, the concept of a culture of safe cholecystectomy has been recently introduced to educate surgeons and apprise them of basic tenets of safe performance of LC. Various aspects of safe cholecystectomy include:(1) thorough knowledge of relevant anatomy, various anatomical landmarks, and anatomical variations;(2) an understanding of the mechanisms involved in biliary/vascular injury, the most important being the misidentification injury;(3) identification of various preoperative and intraoperative predictors of difficult cholecystectomy;(4) proper gallbladder retraction;(5) safe use of various energy devices;(6) understanding the critical view of safety, including its doublet view and documentation;(7) awareness of various error traps(e.g., fundus first technique);(8) use of various bailout strategies(e.g., subtotal cholecystectomy) in difficult gallbladder cases;(9) use of intraoperative imaging techniques(e.g., intraoperative cholangiogram) to ascertain correct anatomy; and(10) understanding the concept of *** should be facile with these aspects of this culture of safety in cholecystectomy in an attempt to reduce the incidence of biliary/vascular injury during LC.

com-pacted MsW increases the placement efficiency and thus reduces the space requirement for *** composition of MsW,degradation,and compactive efforts are the key factors that control the compaction characteristics of *** paper presents the laboratory investigation of compaction characteristics of fresh and aged MsW at a wide range of compactive *** MsW(s_(1)),Windrows sample(s_(2))of an age of 2 months,5-year-old MsW(s_(3)),10-year-old MsW(s_(4)),and 15-year-old MsW(s_(5))were collected from the working phase of the solid waste management site,Vilholi Nasik,(MH)*** was carried in 1000 mL capacity mold under four different energy levels,i.e.,552(E_(1)),1125(E_(2)),2682(E_(3)),and 5364(E4)kJ/m^(3).The results showed that the maximum dry density(γ_(dmax))was observed less in the s_(1)sample at the standard compactive *** the age of the sample increase from fresh to 5 years,γ_(dmax)was more with lesser optimum moisture content(w_(opt))because of the completion of the biodegradation *** further change in compaction characteristics was observed once the biodegradation process was *** study shows that the particle size of MsW gets reduced as the age of the sample *** reduces the particle size of MsW is one of the contributing factors to increasingγ_(dmax).When compactive energy is changed from E_(1)to E4 theγ_(dmax)increased and w_(opt)decreased for all the samples.A normalized w_(opt)and compaction energy correlation is proposed in this *** correlation can get compaction characteristics of fresh and aged MsW at any compactive effort.

Objective:To isolate and characterize antidiabetic component（bioactivity-guided fractionation） from hydro alcoholic extract of Ocimum sanctum（***） aerial ***:Ten fractions（F1 - F10） were isolated from hydro alcoholic extract of *** aerial part by column *** the fractions Fl to F10 were screened for antidiabetic activity in alloxan induced diabetic rats by estimating serum glucose level and lipid *** isolated bioactive component was elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic(UV,IR,Ms,sup>1sup>H and sup>13sup>C NMR) data ***:The bioactive fraction（F5） was found to be potent antidiabetic by ameliorating glucose and lipid parameters（total cholesterol,triglycerides,low and high density lipoprotein cholesterol）.The extensive spectroscopic data analysis reveals that,the isolated bioactive compound elucidated as tetracyclic triterpenoid[16-Hydroxy-4,4,10,13-tetramethyl- 17-（4-methyI-pentyl）-hexadecahydro-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-3-one].Conclusions:Our present study concluded that,tetracyclic triterpenoid isolated from aerial part of *** has a great anti-diabetic potential.

The oxalate co-precipitation method was used to synthesize the La3+substituted Ni-Cu-Zn(La-NCZ)nanoferrites having chemical composition Ni_(0.7)Cu_(0.1)Zn_(0.2)LaxFe_(2-x)O_(4)(x=0.015,0.025 and 0.035).DC resistivity study of nanoferrites shows both the conducting and semiconducting *** room temperature DC electrical resistivity of Ni-Cu-Zn(NCZ)nanoferrites decreases,whereas Curie temperature increases with increasing La^(3+)*** the temperature range of 30-170℃nanoferrites show p-type semiconducting behavior except x=0.015;thereafter,they show n-type *** frequency dispersive initial permeability(μi)associated with its real and imaginary(μ’andμ")parts are attributed to the domain wall movement and magnetic spin ***μi,u’andμ"of La-NCZ nanoferrites are higher than those of pure NCZ *** constant(ε’),dielectric loss(ε")and AC resistivity(ρAC)of La-NCZ nanoferrites show normal dielectric *** is found thatε’of NCZ nanoferrites decreases with the increasing content of La3+*** bandgap energy of La-NCZ nanoferrites is achieved in the range 1.36-1.70 eV confirming the semiconducting nature of materials.

The prevalence of the Internet of Things(Io T) is unsteady in the context of cloud computing, it is difficult to identify fog and cloud resource scheduling policies that will satisfy users’ Qo s need. As a result, it increases the efficiency of resource usage and boosts user and resource supplier profit. This research intends to introduce a novel strategy for computing fog via emergencyoriented resource allotment, which aims and determines the effective process under different parameters. The modeling of a non-linear functionality that is subjected to an objective function and incorporates needs or factors like service response rate, Execution efficiency, and Reboot rate allows for the resource allocation of cloud to fog computing in this work. Apart from this, the proposed system considers the resource allocation in emergency priority situations that must cope-up with the immediate resource allocation as well. security in resource allocation is also taken into consideration with this strategy. Thus the multi-objective function considers 3 objectives such as service response rate, Execution efficiency, and Reboot rate. All these strategies in resource allocation are fulfilled by Levy Flight adopted Particle swarm Optimization(LF-PsO). The evaluation is performed to determine whether the developed strategy is superior to numerous traditional schemes. The cost function attained by the adopted technique is 120, which is 19.17%, 5%, and 2.5%greater than the conventional schemes like GWsO, EHO,and PsO, when the number of iterations is 50.
