As a subfield of Artificial In.elligen.e (AI), Machin. Learn.n. (ML) aims to un.erstan. the structure of the data an. fit it in.o models, which later can.be used in.un.een.data to achieve the desired task. ML has been.widely used in.various sectors such as in.Busin.sses, Medicin., Astrophysics, an. man. other scien.ific problems. In.pired by the success of ML in.differen. sectors, here, we use it to predict the win. quality based on.the various parameters. Amon. various ML models, we compare the performan.e of Ridge Regression.(RR), Support Vector Machin. (SVM), Gradien. Boostin. Regressor (GBR), an. multi-layer Artificial n.ural n.twork (An.) to predict the win. quality. Multiple parameters that determin. the win. quality n.n.aren.n. analyzed. Our analysis shows that GBR surpassn.n.esn.n. all other models’ performance with MSE, R, and MAPE of 0.3741, 0.6057, and 0.0873 respectively. This work demonstraten.n.s,n.n. how statistical analysis can be used to identify the components that mainly control the wine quality prior to the production. This will help wine manufacturer to control the quality prior to the wine productionn.n.n.style="fon.-family:Verdan.;">.

TiO2 -Au aerogels con.ain.n. differen. amoun.s of gold n.n.particles of differen. sizes (5 an. 16 n.) were successfully syn.hesized usin. a sol-gel procedure, an. were tested for salicylic acid photodegradation.un.er UV irradiation. The structure an. morphology of the obtain.d materials were in.estigated usin. X-ray diffraction. tran.mission.electron.microscopy, an. n. adsorption.desorption.measuremen.s. UV-Vis spectroscopy was used to study the optical properties. The effects of the gold n.n.particles on.the TiO2 crystallization.process were twofold, as follows: (i) the n.mber of crystallized zon.s was stron.ly related to the con.en.ration.of the gold n.n.particles, an. (ii) the smaller gold particles in.reased the time taken.for the crystallization.of the samples. It was foun. that the n.ble metal-doped samples exhibited higher degradation.rates compared with bare titan.a. It was foun. that the most active photocatalyst in.each studied system was the sample with the highest con.en.ration.of gold n.n.particles. Addition.lly, the highest degradation.rate value was obtain.d with the smallest Au n.n.particles (46.4 10-3 μmol/(L·s).

Con.umption.of on.on.has been.associated with reduced in.iden.e of chron.c diseases. Phen.lic, organ.sulfur an. carbohydrate compoun.s presen. are largely respon.ible for these effects. This study examin.d composition.l variation.for health-en.an.in. compoun.s in.a gen.tically diverse collection.of on.on.cultivars. Total an.ioxidan. activity an. aroma profiles were characterized. Sign.fican. variation.in.bulb con.en.ration.for total an. in.ividual phen.lic compoun.s, thiosulfin.tes, carbohydrates, an. total an. soluble solids was foun.. The ran.e of variation.was particularly large (>50-fold differen.e between.the cultivars with the highest an. lowest con.en.) for fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) an. the polyphen.ls quercetin. epigallocatechin.gallate an. epicatechin.gallate. Amin. acid profiles varied sign.fican.ly as well with substan.ial variation.(~10 fold) observed in.both total an. essen.ial amin. acids. Total an.ioxidan. activity was positively correlated with polyphen.ls con.en., an. quercetin.in.particular (r = 0.83), suggestin. a major con.ribution.from phen.lic compoun.s to on.on.an.ioxidan. properties. Sign.fican. positive correlation.was also foun. between.solids an. thiosulfin.tes con.en. (r = 0.74) an. between.solids an. FOS (r = 0.81), suggestin. a dilution.con.en.ration.effect for organ.sulfur compoun.s an. FOS in.on.on.bulbs. The presen. study revealed broad variation.for health-en.an.in. compoun.s con.en. in.on.on.germplasm, which can.be exploited in.breedin. programs aimin. at in.reasin. on.on.n.traceutical value.

Backgroun. In.in.vitro fertilization.(IVF) treatmen., preimplan.ation.gen.tic diagn.sis/screen.n. (PGD/S) attempts to detect chromosomal abn.rmalities in.embryos before implan.ation. Usin. the meta-an.lytic an. qualitative review approaches, this study aims to evaluate the effect of PGD/S on.clin.cal pregn.n.y, live births, an. childhood outcomes. Methods We con.ucted a literature search usin. 1) PubMed an. other search en.in.s, an. 2) an.an.estry search by track-in. referen.es cited in.prior work. After screen.n. the studies, we extracted in.ormation.pertin.n. to the meta-an.lysis. We calculated the effect sizes for clin.cal pregn.n.y an. live birth rates, an. performed a moderation.an.lysis by matern.l age, type of gen.tic screen.n., an. timin. of the biopsy. For childhood outcomes, we con.ucted a systematic review of studies reportin. the an.hropometric, psychomotor, cogn.tive, behavioral, an. family fun.tion.n. of PGD/S children. Results We in.luded 26 studies for clin.cal pregn.n.y an. live births, an. 18 studies for childhood outcomes. Results in.i-cated that women.who un.erwen. comprehen.ive chromosome screen.n.-based PGD/S had sign.fican.ly higher clin.cal pregn.n.y rates (rr 1.207, 95% CI 1.017–1.431) an. live birth rates (rr 1.362, 95% CI 1.057–1.755) than.those whose IVF treatmen. did n.t in.lude PGD/S. Early childhood outcomes of PGD/S children.did n.t differ from those of n.n.PGD/S children. Con.lusion. Comprehen.ive chromosome screen.n.-based PGD/S can.improve clin.cal pregn.n.y an. live birth rates without adversely affectin. fun.tion.n. in.childhood at least up to age 9. Results are discussed in.the con.ext of bioethical, fin.n.ial, legal, an. psychological issues surroun.in. PGD/S.
