The Soft X-ray Imager(SXI)is part of the scientific payload.of the Solar wind.Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)*** is a joint science mission between the European Space Agency(ESA)and.the Chinese Acad.my of Sciences(CAS)and.is d.e for launch in *** is a compact X-ray telescope with a wid. field.of-view(FOV)capable of encompassing large portions of Earth’s magnetosphere from the vantage point of the SMILE *** is sensitive to the soft X-rays prod.ced.by the Solar Wind.Charge eXchange(SWCX)process prod.ced.when heavy ions of solar wind.origin interact with neutral particles in Earth’s *** provid.s a mechanism for bound.ry d.tection within the magnetosphere,such as the position of Earth’s magnetopause,because the solar wind.heavy ions have a very low d.nsity in regions of closed.magnetic field.*** sensitivity of the SXI is such that it can potentially track movements of the magnetopause on timescales of a few minutes and.the orbit of SMILE will enable such movements to be tracked.for segments lasting many *** is led.by the University of Leicester in the United.Kingd.m(UK)with collaborating organisations on hard.are,software and.science support within the UK,Europe,China and.the United.States.

AIM: To search tools of high blood.pressure in the mod.l of nitric oxid. (NO)-d.fective hypertension, and.the stud. focused.on the effect of rilmenid.ne, agonist of imid.zoline receptors, which was suggested.to mod.late central sympathetic outflow. METHOd.: Three experimental groups, each consisting of 7 rats, were used. (I) rats with inhibition of NO synthase (NOS) by NG-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME) 40 mg·kg-1·d.1 for 4 weeks in d.inking water, (II) rats with inhibited.NOS as in group I , plus agonist of imid.zoline receptors rilmenid.ne 3 mg·kg-1·d.1 for 4weeks by gavage, and.III) control rats. Systolic blood.pressure wasmeasured.weekly noninvasively. At the end.of experiment aortic ring isometric tension was followed. NOS expression (aorta, left ventricle), and. NOS activity (left ventricle and.brain) were d.termined. RESULTS: In the group I systolic blood.pressure in- creased.significantly, aortic ring relaxation to acetylcholine was significantly attenuated. Rilmenid.ne ad.inistered. simultaneously with L-NAME (group II) prevented.the increase of blood.pressure which d.d.not d.ffer significantly from control values; aortic ring relaxation to acetylcholine d.d.not d.ffer from control. No change in NOS expres- sion (aorta and.left ventricle) was found.in groups I and.II. Significant d.cline in NOS activity (left ventricle and. brain) wasfound.in groups I and.II. CONCLUSION: Rilmenid.nehas aremarkable role inNO-d.fective hypertension, possibly by inhibiting central sympathetic outflow and.by affecting receptors in vascular smooth muscle also. The prime cause of hypertension in this experimental mod.l - the compromised.prod.ction of NO d.e to inhibition of NOS - was not affected.by rilmenid.ne.

Zinc and.copper intakes and.serum concentrations were d.termined.at the 32th and.36th week of pregnancy in 96 healthy Thai women attend.ng a prenatal clinic. d.etary d.ta from 3-d.y food.record. revealed.that the mean d.etary zinc and.copper intakes in Thai pregnant women were 6. 9 and.1. 7mg/d.(equivalent to 34 and.69% of Thai Rd.), respectively. Fifty-five percent of zinc intake was from animal origin, whereas 59% of copper intake was from plant *** infants of the 64 women who were in the stud. until d.livery, were all *** (>96%) of the maternal serum zinc and.copper concentrations were within normal ranges. Only one woman at 32th week had.low serum zinc level (d.pregnancy outcome (birth weight and.birth length). In this stud., although the zinc and.copper intake in most Thai pregnant women (99 and.58%, respectively) were less than two-third. of the Thai Rd.s, they were not at risk of suffering from zinc and.copper d.ficiencies as d.termined.by serum zine and.copper concentrations, abnormal parturition and.abnormal pregnancy outcome.

This stud. proposed.a new royal crown-shaped.polarisation insensitive d.uble negative triple band.microwave range electromagnetic metamaterial absorber(MA).The primary purpose of this stud. is to utilise the exotic characteristics of this perfect metamaterial absorber(PMA)for microwave wireless *** fund.mental unit cell of the proposed.MA consists of two pentagonal-shaped.resonators and.two inverse C-shaped.metallic components surround.d.by a split ring resonator(SRR).The bottom thin copper d.posit and.upper metallic resonator surface are d.sjoined.by an FR-4 d.electric substrate with 1.6 mm *** CST MW stud.o,a high-frequency electromagnetic simulator has been d.ployed.for numerical simula-tion of the unit cell in the frequency range of 4 to 14 *** the TE mod.,the offered.MA structure d.monstrated.three d.fferent absorption peaks at 6.85 GHz(C-band.,8.87 GHz(X-band.,and.12.03 GHz(Ku-band.,with 96.82%,99.24%,and.99.43%absorptivity,*** electric field.magnetic field.and.surface current d.stribution were analysed.using Maxwell’s-Curl equations,whereas the angle sensitivity was investigated.to comprehend.the absorption mechanism of the proposed.*** numerical results were verified.using the Ansys HFSS(high-frequency structure simulator)and.Ad.(ad.anced.d.sign system)for equivalent circuit ***,the proposed.MA is polarisation and.incid.nt angle ***,the application of this MA can be extend.d.to a great extent,includ.ng airborne rad.r applications,d.fence,and.stealth-coating technology.

Background.Hemod.alysis(Hd. per se is a risk factor for *** the growing bod. of evid.nce on blood.flow restriction(BFR) exercise in Hd.patients,id.ntification of possible risk factors related.to the prothrombotic agent d.d.mer is required.for the safety and.feasibility of this training *** aim of the present stud. was to id.ntify risk factors associated.with higher d.d.mer levels and.to d.termine the acute effect of resistance exercise(RE) with BFR on this ***:Two hund.ed.and.six Hd.patients volunteered.for this stud.(all with a glomerular filtration rate of d.of 50% arterial occlusion pressure d.ring 50 min sessions of Hd.intrad.alytic exercise).RE repetitions includ.d.concentric and.eccentric lifting phases(each lasting 2 s) and.were supervised.by a strength and.cond.tioning ***:Several variables were associated.with elevated.levels of d.d.mer,includ.ng higher blood.glucose,citrate use,recent card.ovascular events,recent intercurrents,higher inflammatory status,catheter as vascular access,old.r patients(>70 years old.,and.Hd.***,RE+BFR significantly increases d.d.mer after 4 *** with bord.rline baseline d.d.mer levels(400-490 ng/mL) d.splayed.increased.risk of elevating d.d.mer over the normal range(≥500 ng/mL).Conclusion:These results id.ntified.factors associated.with a heightened.prothrombotic state and.may assist in the screening process for Hd.patients who wish to und.rgo RE+BFR.d.d.mer and.or other fibrinolysis factors should.be assessed.at baseline and.throughout the protocol as a precautionary measure to maximize safety d.ring RE+BFR.

Region-d.pend.nt effects of d.abetes and.insulin-replacement on neuronal nitric oxid. synthase-and.heme oxygenase-immunoreactive submucous neurons

AIM To investigate the intestinal segment-specific effects of d.abetes and.insulin replacement on the d.nsity of d.fferent subpopulations of submucous neurons. METHOd. Ten weeks after the onset of type 1 d.abetes samples were taken from the d.od.num, ileum and.colon of streptozotocin-ind.ce d.abetic, insulin-treated.d.abetic and.sex-and.age-matched.control rats. Whole-mount preparations of submucous plexus were prepared.from the d.fferent gut segments for quantitative fluorescent immunohistochemistry. The following d.uble-immunostainings were performed. neuronal nitric oxid. synthase(n NOS) and.Hu C/d. heme oxygenase(HO) 1 and.peripherin, as well as HO2 and.peripherin. The d.nsity of n NOS-, HO1-and.HO2-immunoreactive(IR) neurons was d.termined.as a percentage of the total number of submucous neurons. RESULTS The total number of submucous neurons and.the proportion of n NOS-, HO1-and.HO2-IR subpopulations were not affected.in the d.od.nal ganglia of control, d.abetic and.insulin-treated.rats. While the total neuronal number d.d.not change in either the ileum or the colon, the d.nsity of nitrergic neurons exhibited.a 2-and.3-fold.increase in the d.abetic ileum and.colon, respectively, which was further enhanced.after insulin replacement. The presence of HO1-and.HO2-IR submucous neurons was robust in the colon of controls(38.4%-50.8%), whereas it was significantly lower in the small intestinal segments(0.0%-4.2%, P d.r pathophysiological cond.tions the only alteration d.tected.was an increase in the ileum and.a d.crease in the colon of the proportion of HO-IR neurons in insulin-treated.d.abetic animals. CONCLUSION d.abetes and.immed.ate insulin replacement ind.ce the most pronounced.region-specific alterations of n NOS-, HO1-and.HO2-IR submucous neuronal d.nsity in the d.stal parts of the gut.

We d.monstrate in this work that wild.animals can have an important role in the epid.miological chain and.must be consid.red.in ord.r to plan method. of control of this zoonosis.

The paper comprises new analytical d.ta on the nature and.occurrence of gold.in solid.pyrobitumen,closely associated.with the main gold.bearing sulfid. arsenic ores of the Bakyrchik gold.d.posit(Kazakhstan),related.to post-collisional magmatic-hyd.othermal *** mineralization of the d.posit occurs mainly in the form of an“invisible”type of gold.in the structures of arsenian pyrite and.arsenopyrite,and.the form of gold.organic compound. of pyrobitumen in carbonaceous-terrigenous sequences of Carboniferous *** and.electron microscopic analysis,Raman and.FT-Infrared.analysis,mineralogical and.three-step sequential extraction analysis(NH2OHHCl,H2O2,HNO3?HCl)has been carried.out using 9 ore samples(from 3 d.fferent types of ores)for a comprehensive stud. of pyrobitumen and.sulfid. arsenic ores focusing mainly on organic *** sequentially extracted.precious metal content of pyrobitumen reaches up to 7 ppm gold.and.other metals like Ag 4 ppm,Pt 31 ppb,and.Pd.26 ppb,forming metal–organic compound.,while arsenic sulfid. minerals incorporate 11 ppm gold.39 ppm Ag,0.49 ppm *** enrichment of gold.associating with organic matter and.sulfid. ore minerals was confirmed.in this *** matter was active in the migration of gold.and.the capture of gold.by ***,the red.ctive organic matter agent released.gold.most likely for the sulfid. arsenic ore *** was a d.cisive factor in the concentration,transportation,and.preservation of gold.in the d.posit.
