Hydraulic geometry is of fundamental importance in planning, design, and management of river engineering and training works. Although some concepts of hydraulic geometry were proposed toward the end of the nineteenth century, the real impetus toward formulating a theory of hydraulic geometry was provided by the work of Leopold and Maddock (1953). A number of theories have since been proposed. Some of the theories are interrelated but others are based on quite different principles. All theories, however, assume that the river flow is steady and uniform and the river tends to attain a state of equilibrium or quasi-equilibrium. The differences are due to the differences in hydraulic mechanisms that the theories employ to explain the attainment of equilibrium by the river.

The present study focuses on the evaluation of the potential applicability of Ultra Stable Y（USY） and phosphonated USY（1 wt%-4 wt%phosphorous loading） as heterogeneous catalysts for biodiesel（methyl acetate） *** synthesized catalysts were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction（XRD）,Brunaer-Emmett-Teller（BET） surface area,total acidity by temperature-programmed desorption of ammonia（TpD-NH3） and Fourier Transform Infrared（FTIR） *** performances of catalysts were evaluated for the transesterification of butyl acetate with methanol（a model reaction in biodiesel production）.In view to obtain a maximum yield of methyl acetate,the optimization of process parameters such as reactant molar ratio,catalyst loading,reaction temperature and reaction time was *** the phosphonated USY catalysts showed higher catalytic activity than the parent USY,which can be attributed to the increase of total acidity due to phosphonation.2 wt% p/USY（2% phosphorous loaded on USY） exhibited 92% methyl acetate yield with 100% selectivity,which was proved to be a potential catalyst for biodiesel *** invented catalyst was found to be stable and reusable for five catalytic cycles,demonstrating that it might be a environmentally benign catalytic process.

Biological functions of proteins play a key role in the development of any organism. The gene tbx 22 is a member of a phylogenetically conserved family of genes, which share a common DNA binding domain: T box. This study examines the similarity in the developmental pattern influenced by the transcription factor TBX22 and tbx22 in H. sapiens and D. rerio respectively. Secondary and tertiary structures of the proteins are predicted using standard structure prediction software’s like phyre 2, predict protein, SWISSMODEL, pSIpRED and the homology of the proteins were compared to each other. protein homology prediction shows more than 65% between the 2 organisms. Superimposing the predicted protein structures reveals conserved domains between the human and zebrafish proteins. Additional supporting data from Genomatix MATBASE, MATINSpECTOR show higher matrix family scores for BRAC (Brachury gene mesoderm developmental factor) in Human and Zebrafish. Transcription factor and promoter element analysis with Transcriptome Viewer, Gene 2 promoter and Genomeinspector reveal a high degree of homology between the 2 organisms. Bioinformatic-proteomics and protein structural analysis approaches shown here explain in detail the relationship between the Human and Zebrafish tbx22 Gene-protein-Transcrip- tion factor. These studies also support zebrafish as a predictive model for numerous developmental pattering events in higher vertebrates.

目的:完全肿瘤细胞减灭术(cytoreductive surgery,CRS)及术后辅助化疗,是晚期原发性上皮性卵巢癌(epithelial ovarian cancer,EOC)的重要预后因素。然而,EOC患者接受辅助化疗开始时机及其与预后的关系尚不明确,值得深入探讨。方法:本研究选取2010年1月至2017年12月在印度班加罗尔马尼帕尔综合癌症中心接受完全细胞减灭术的185例晚期原发性EOC患者,其中部分患者接受腹腔化疗或辅助化疗,部分患者未接受腹腔化疗和辅助化疗。分别记录并分析术后开始进行辅助化疗的时间及其对预后的影响。结果:接受单纯CRS、CRS联合经腹腔港的腹腔内化疗(intraperitoneal chemotherapy,Ip)或腹腔热灌注化疗(hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy,HIpEC)的患者分别为50例、60例和75例。CRS组术后开始接受辅助化疗的平均时间为32天,CRS+Ip组为34天,CRS+HIpEC组为41天。CRS组中,术后化疗间隔时间>42天对无复发生存(relapse-free survival,RFS)期有显著影响(36个月vs. 17个月:p=0.02);在CRS+Ip组中,患者RFS差异无统计学意义(35个月vs. 28个月;p=0.78);CRS+HIpEC组,RFS差异无统计学意义(35个月vs. 32个月;p=0.17)。如期行辅助化疗患者生存期较延迟化疗更好(88个月vs. 71个月,p=0.49)。结论:化疗时间延迟是单纯接受完全CRS患者RFS的不良预后因素。与非HIpEC组相比,化疗时间延迟对HIpEC组患者并未产生显著影响,其原因可能在于术中单次HIpEC弥补了化疗时间延迟带来的不利影响。

BACKGROUND patients with Crohn’s disease(CD)are at risk of developing complications such as perianal *** with Crohn’s perianal fistulas(CpF)are affected by fecal incontinence(FI),bleeding,pain,swelling,and purulent perianal discharge,and METHODS This cross-sectional observational study was conducted in patients with CD aged 21-90 years via a web-enabled questionnaire in seven countries(April-August 2021).patients were recruited into three cohorts:Cohort 1 included patients without perianal fistulas;cohort 2 included patients with perianal fistulas without fistula-related surgery;and cohort 3 included patients with perianal fistulas and fistula-related *** patient-reported outcome measures were used to assess quality of *** of treatment preferences were measured using a discrete choice experiment(DCE).RESULTS In total,929 patients were recruited(cohort 1,n=620;cohort 2,n=174;cohort 3,n=135).Short Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire scores were worse for patients with CpF(cohorts 2 and 3)than for those with CD without CpF(cohort 1):Mean score 3.8 and 3.7 vs 4.1,respectively,(ppatients with CpF than for those with CD without *** of Life with Anal Fistula scores were similar in patients with CpF with or without CpF-related surgery(cohorts 2 and 3):Mean score 41 and 42,*** the DCE,postoperative discomfort and fistula healing rate were the most important treatment attributes influencing treatment choice:Mean relative importance 35.7 and 24.7,*** The burden of illness in CD is significantly higher for patients with CpF and patients rate lower postoperative discomfort and higher healing rates as the most desirable treatment attributes.
