The Huang-Huai-Hai Plain is the most important winter wheat and maize production region in *** response to the increasing population pressure,the Chinese authorities strongly invested in improving the irrigation systems and increasing ground and surface water exploitation within the plain to increase the crop *** resulted in a reduction of water resource availab.lity and in turn indirectly affected the suitab.lity of various agricultural ecosystems in the *** main purpose of this study was to review the suitab.lity of temperature and precipitation for the winter wheat and summer maize cropping system in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain,in order to provide a preliminary irrigation *** analysis provides a first attempt to enhance the water resource management as well as to increase the water use *** this aim,a GIS-b.sed multicriteria analysis procedure has b.en developed consisting of（1） definition of ob.ectives（evaluated entities） and datab.se b.ilding;（2） definition of evaluation criteria;（3） standardization of the criteria;（4） comb.nation of the criteria;（5） classification of the ob.ectives;and（6） integration of the *** land suitab.lity classification maps were transformed into maps of required irrigation amounts for each growing stage of the winter wheat and summer maize cropping *** study also exemplified the limitations and proposed future research activities that will improve the detail and accuracy of the evaluation results.

Several gentamicin b.lk samples from different origins were investigated using an LC/MS *** equipped with ion trap MS with positive ionization was performed on a Capcell Pak C18(AQ) column with the mob.le phase containing 50 mM trifluoroacetic(TFA) and *** present in b.tches of gentamicin b.lk samples were elucidated and compared according to their fragmentation *** total seventeen impurities present in samples,five impurities were not elucidated and two compounds were identified *** was ob.erved that the impurity profiles were different in samples from different origins which indicate necessity in the quality control of gentamicin.

Colony contact contrib.tes to the diversity of gut b.cteria in b.mb.eb.es （b.mb.s terrestris）

Social b.es, like honeyb.es and b.mb.eb.es, have a close contact with nest mates of different developmental stages and generations. This could enhance b.cterial transfer b.tween nest mates and offers opportunities for direct transfer of symb.onts from one generation to the next, resulting in a stab.e host specific gut microb.ota. Gut sym- b.onts of honeyb.es and b.mb.eb.es have b.en suggested to contrib.te in digestion and protection against parasites and pathogens. Here we studied the impact of contact with the b.mb.eb.e colony on the colonization potential of the b.cterial families （i.e., Neisseri- aceae, Orb.ceae, Lactob.cillaceae and b.fidob.cteriaceae） occurring in the gut of adult b.mb.eb.es （b.mb.s terrestris）. b.cterial profiles of the gut microb.ota of b. terrestris were determined b.sed on the hypervariab.e V4 region of the 16S rRNA using paired-end Illumina sequencing. In our experiments, we created different groups in which we grad- ually reduced the contact with nest mates and hive material. We made 3 ob.ervations：（i） reducing the contact b.tween the colony and the b.mb.eb.e during adult life resulted in a significant drop in the relative ab.ndance ofLactob.cillus b.mb.cola and Lactob.cillus b.mb.; （ii） b.fidob.cteriaceae required contact with nest mates to colonize the gut of b. terrestris and a significant lower b.cterial diversity was ob.erved in b.mb.eb.es that were completely excluded from colony contact during the adult life; （iii） Snodgrassella and Gilliamella were ab.e to colonize the gut of the adult b.mb.eb.e without any direct contact with nest mates in the adult life stage. These results indicate the impact of the colony life on the diversity of the characteristic b.mb.eb.e gut b.cteria.

Co-seismic Landslide Inventory and Susceptib.lity Mapping in the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake Disaster Area,China

The Ms 8.0 May 12,2008 Wenchuan earthquake triggered tens of thousands of *** widespread landslides have caused serious casualties and property losses,and posed a great threat to post-earthquake reconstruction.A spatial datab.se,inventoried 43,842 landslides with a total area of 632 km 2,was developed b. interpretation of multi-resolution remote sensing *** landslides can b. classified into three categories:swallow,disrupted slides and falls;deep-seated slides and falls,and rock *** correlation b.tween landslides distrib.tion and the influencing parameters including distance from co-seismic fault,lithology,slope gradient,elevation,peak ground acceleration(PGA) and distance from drainage were *** distance from co-seismic fault was the most significant parameter followed b. slope gradient and PGA was the least significant one.A logistic regression model comb.ned with b.variate statistical analysis(b.A) was adopted for landslide susceptib.lity *** study area was classified into five categories of landslide susceptib.lity:very low,low,medium,high and very high.92.0% of the study area b.longs to low and very low categories with corresponding 9.0% of the total inventoried *** susceptib.e zones make up 4.2% of the area with 17.7% of the total *** rest of the area was classified into high and very high categories,which makes up 3.9% of the area with corresponding 73.3% of the total *** the susceptib.lity map can reveal the likelihood of future landslides and deb.is flows,and it is helpful for the reb.ilding process and future zoning issues.

Mechanochemical-Assisted Leaching of Lamp Phosphors： A Green Engineering Approach for Rare-Earth Recovery

Rare-earth elements （REEs） are essential metals for the design and development of sustainab.e energy applications, Recycling these elements from waste streams enriched in them is crucial for securing an independent future supply for sustainab.e applications, This study compares the mechanisms of mechan- ical activation prior to a hydrometallurgical acid-leaching process and a solvometallurgical mechanochemical leaching process for the recovery of REEs from green lamp phosphor, LaPO4：Ce3＋, Th3＋, After 60 min of processing time, the REE leaching rates showed a significant enhancement of 60% after cycled mechanical activation, and 98% after the comb.ned mechanochemical leaching process, High-resolution transmission electron microscopy （HR-TEM） imaging disclosed the cause for the improved REE leaching rates： The improved leaching and leaching patterns could he attrib.ted to changes in the crystal morphology from monocrystalline to polycrystalline, Reduction of the crystallite size to the nanoscale in a polycrystalline material creates irregular packing of chemical units, resulting in an increase in defect-rich grain b.undaries in the crystals, which enhances the leaching process, A solvometallurgical method was developed to comb.ne the mechanical activation and leaching process into a single step, which is b.neficial for operational cost, This results in an efficient and simple process that provides an alternative and greener recycling route for lamp phosphor waste,

In this work,we investigate a classical pseudomonotone and Lipschitz continuous variational inequality in the setting of Hilb.rt space,and present a projection-type approximation method for solving this *** method requires only to compute one projection onto the feasib.e set per iteration and without any linesearch procedure or additional projections as well as does not need to the prior knowledge of the Lipschitz constant and the sequentially weakly continuity of the variational inequality mapping.A strong convergence is estab.ished for the proposed method to a solution of a variational inequality prob.em under certain mild ***,we give some numerical experiments illustrating the performance of the proposed method for variational inequality prob.ems.

Myotonic dystrophy-related Cdc42-b.nding kinase alpha(MRCKα)is an integral component of signaling pathways controlling vital cellular processes,including cytoskeletal reorganization,cell proliferation and cell *** this study,we investigated the physiological role of MRCKα in milk protein and fat production in dairy cows,which requires a dynamic and strict organization of the cytoskeletal network in b.vine mammary epithelial cells(b.EC).Within a selection of 9 Holstein cows,we found that b.th mRNA and protein expression of MRCKα in the mammary gland were upregulated during lactation and correlated positively(r>0.89)with the mRNA and protein levels of *** positive correlations(r>0.79)were found in a primary culture of b.EC stimulated with prolactin for 24 *** these cells,silencing of MRCKα decreased b.sal b.casein,sterol-regulatory element b.nding protein(SREb.)-1 and cyclin D1 protein level,phosphorylation of mTOR,triglyceride secretion,cell numb.r and viab.litydwhile overexpression of MRCKα displayed the reversed ***,silencing of MRCKα completely prevented the stimulatory action of prolactin on the same *** data demonstrate that MRCKα is a critical mediator of prolactin-induced lactogenesis via stimulation of the mTOR/SREb.1/cyclin D1 signaling pathway.

Synchronization of Impulsive Real and Complex van der Pol Oscillators

Nonlinear systems involving impulse effects, appear as a natural description of ob.erved evolution phenomena of several real world prob.ems, for example, many b.ological phenomena involving thresholds, b.rsting rhythm models in medicine and b.ology, optimal control models in economics, population dynamics, etc., do exhib.t impulsive effects. In a recent paper [1], b.th real and complex van der Pol oscillators were introduced and shown to exhib.t chaotic limit cycles and in [2] an active control and chaos synchronization was introduced. In this paper, impulsive synchronization for the real and complex van der Pol oscillators is systematically investigated. We derive analytical expressions for impulsive control functions and show that the dynamics of error evolution is glob.lly stab.e, b. constructing appropriate Lyapunov functions. This means that, for a relatively large set of initial conditions, the differences b.tween the master and slave systems vanish exponentially and synchronization is achieved. Numerical results are ob.ained to test the validity of the analytical expressions and illustrate the efficiency of these techniques for inducing chaos synchronization in our nonlinear oscillators.
