An Am.nopyrrolidinyl Phosphonates—A New Class of Antibiotics: Facile Synthesis and Predicted Biological Activity

A novel class of am.nopyrrolidinyl phosphonates was synthesized in 74% - 80% isolated yield by the addition of three-fold excess of prim.ry am.nes to diethyl 4-chloro-1-butynylphosphonates. The reaction was carried out at room.tem.erature and in the absence of solvent or catalyst to give solely com.ounds which showed predicted biological activity based on PASS program. Som. of the synthesized derivatives of antibiotics exhibit properties for the treatm.nt of stroke, the treatm.nt of acute neurological disorders, and can also be acetyl esterase inhibitors.

Purpose: Diet and eating habits are m.jor risk factors for the health and the developm.nt of disease, such as, for exam.le, m.tabolic disorder leading to cardiovascular pathology and cancer, decreased im.unity exposing to infections. This study of the physico-chem.cal and nutritional properties of a soum.ra-based food broth was carried out with the aim.of prom.ting the consum.tion of organic broth m.de from.nere seeds (soum.ra). That is to alleviate certain m.tabolic diseases, which is a m.tter of food safety, and also to lim.t the risk for the health about the consum.tion of som. cooking stocks on the m.rket. m.thods: Several natural ingredients such as nere seeds (soum.ra), ginger, black pepper, parsley and garlic were used to create a nere-based stock. All these ingredients were freeze-dried and the powder obtained was used to m.ke the broth, regarding their physical and chem.cal properties. Results: The broth had a good protein content of 17.41 ± 0.367 g/100g, a lipid content of 16.80 ± 0.08 g/100g and a fiber content of 8.66 ± 0.04 g/100g. In term. of nutritional values, the broth showed good levels of calcium.184.21 ± 0.09 m./100g, potassium.50.04 ± 1.45 m./100g and iron and zinc. In term. of antioxidant activity, the broth also showed good antioxidant activity. Conclusion: Regarding the properties of our food broth, whose com.osition is based on natural ingredients, could be recom.ended for consum.tion and, its properties, could play an im.ortant role in preventing and com.ating certain m.tabolic diseases.

The m.tabolic scaling in the anim.l has been discussed for over 90 years,but no consensus has been *** analysis of 2126 species of vertebrates reveals a signiﬁcant allom.tric exponent *** show that classes of terrestrial vertebrates exhibit the evolution of m.tabolic *** the allom.tric coefﬁcient“a”and the allom.tric exponent“b”change naturally,but differently depending on the geological tim. of group *** allom.tric coefﬁcient“a”shows the m.asure of the evolutionary developm.nt of system. that form. resting m.tabolism.in *** classes,such as birds and m.m.als,have a m.tabolic rate that is in an order of m.gnitude higher than that in ectotherm.c classes,including am.hibians and *** the terrestrial vertebrate phylogeny,weﬁnd that the m.tabolic scaling is characterized by 3 m.in allom.tric exponent values:b=3/4(m.m.als),b>3/4(ectotherm.,such as am.hibians and reptiles),and bm.tric exponent is a natural phenom.non associated with the general evolution of *** scaling factor decreases depending on both the external design and the size(birds vs m.m.als)of the *** m.tabolic rate and uniform.ty of species within a class increase as the geological start date of for-m.tion of the class approaches the present *** higher the m.ss-speciﬁc standard m.tabolic rate in the class,the slower m.tabolic rate grows with increasing body size in this *** results lay the groundwork for further exploration of the evolutionary and ecological aspects of the developm.nt of m.tabolic scaling in anim.ls.

Sorghum.Sorghum.bicolor(L.) m.ench) is a m.jor world crop that is a reliable source of fodder and food grain in arid regions. However, unlike other cereals, sorghum.grain has low nutritional value, owing m.inly to the resistance of its storage proteins(kafirins) to protease digestion. Changing the com.osition of kafirins or their prim.ry structure m.y address this problem. To induce m.tations in kafirin-encoding genes that were expected to disturb their accum.lation in endosperm.cells, we used a genom.-editing approach. By Agrobacterium.m.diated genetic transform.tion of im.ature em.ryos of cv. Avans, we obtained 14 transgenic plants with genetic constructs for site-directed m.tagenesis of the k1C5 and g KAF1 genes encoding 22 k Da a-and 28 kDa γ-kafirins, respectively. Sequencing of 5 regenerants obtained by using k1C5-addressing vector revealed two plants with m.tations. T_1 progeny of these m.tants had higher in vitro digestibility of endosperm.proteins(86%–92%), in com.arison with the donor Avans(63%–67%). The kernels of these plants had a thick vitreous endosperm. A m.tant with increased in vitro protein digestibility and vitreous endosperm. carrying a m.tation in the target sequence, was also obtained by use of the gKAF1-addressing vector. Thus, using genom. editing technology, we have obtained m.tants with im.roved kafirin digestibility that can be used in sorghum.breeding.
