Enteroc.c.us faec.lis and Enteroc.c.us faec.um.rank am.ng the leading c.uses of nosoc.m.al bac.erem.a and urinary trac. infec.ions. They often persist on hospital surfac.s due to their ability to withstand adverse environm.ntal c.nditions (low or high tem.eratures, high pH, and high salinity). The global Enteroc.c.us faec.lis-Enteroc.c.us faec.um.ratio is c.rrently shifting towards Enteroc.c.us faec.um. Enteroc.c.i present variable levels of resistanc. to c.rtain fam.lies of antibiotic.. This is the c.se for am.noglyc.sides, beta-lac.am. and c.phalosporins. In 2017, WHO ranked Enteroc.c.i am.ng priority pathogens for researc. and developm.nt of new antibiotic.. The objec.ive of our study was to determ.ne the antibiotic.resistanc. profile of Enteroc.c.us faec.lis and Enteroc.c.us faec.um.isolates from.urine and pleural fluid in two hospitals in c.m.roon. This c.oss-sec.ional and analytic.study was c.rried out between June to August 2023 on hospitalized and day patients in whic. a c.tobac.eriologic.l test of urine and pleural fluid was done. The sam.les were inoc.lated on c.ED Agar for urine and on c.oc.late + polyvitex and blood agar (prepared from.c.lum.ia agar) for pleural fluid sam.les and inc.bated at 37℃ for 18 to 24 hours. Identific.tion of isolates was c.rried out using the API 20 STREP m.c.o gallery (Biom.rieux, Franc.) and tested for antim.c.obial susc.ptibility. The data on soc.o-dem.graphic.l and potential risk fac.ors were rec.rded using self-adm.nistered questionnaires and data from.laboratory analyses of the spec.m.n were c.llec.ed in a data c.pture sheet. Potential risk fac.ors assoc.ated with the presenc. of Enteroc.c.i, were evaluated using the logistic.regression in univariate and m.ltivariate analysis. P value c.nsidered as signific.nt. Antibiotic.resistanc. has bec.m. a m.jor threat to hum.n health worldwide. Environm.nt, partic.larly the water environm.nt, has long been overlooked as a player in the antibiotic.resistanc. c.c.e, although its role rem.ins unc.ear. These c.n provide an ideal setting for the ac.uisition and dissem.nation of antibiotic.resistanc., as they are frequently affec.ed by anthropogenic.ac.ivities. The objec.ive of this study was to establish a diffusion m.p of resistanc. integrons used as genetic.m.rkers of resistanc. assoc.ated with antibiotic.resistanc. c.nferring genes (ARGs). Total DNA extrac.s from.non-c.ltivable bac.erial c.m.unities were used for the analyses. These c.m.unities were obtained from.wastewater sam.les from.14 sites upstream.and downstream.of drainage c.annels or effluents in the c.ties of Abidjan, Bouaké, and Yam.ussoukro. The results obtained c.rrespond to the num.er of positives am.ng the treated sam.les (n = 39). Am.ng the genetic.m.rkers of dissem.nation, c.ass 1 integrons were the m.st evident in 94.8% of sam.les in Abidjan (93.3%), Bouaké (100%) and Yam.ussoukro (91.6%). c.ass 2 integrons and c.ass 3 integrons were found respec.ively in 41% and 51% of all sam.les. Genes c.ding for β-lac.am.ses and blaTEm.was identified in alm.st all sam.les at a rate of 97.4%. A c.-presenc. of the three genes blaTEm. blaSHV and blac.X-m.is also rem.rkable in the sites of the c.ty of Yam.ussoukro. Am.ng the genes c.ding for c.rbapenem.ses, only blaKPc.17.94%, blaNDm.30.76% and blaOXA48 38.46% were detec.ed in the sam.les.

Bac.ground: Hem.pathies were rarely observed in m.jor sic.le c.ll disease patients som. thirty years ago, probably due to the high m.rtality rate am.ng the latter as a result of progressive c.m.lic.tions. Thanks to advanc.s in the m.nagem.nt of sic.le c.ll disease, patients' life expec.anc. has inc.eased c.nsiderably, exposing them.m.re frequently to neoplasia, inc.uding hem.tologic.l m.lignanc.es. The inc.eased risk of leukem.genesis is m.ltifac.orial and linked to the pathophysiologic.l m.c.anism. of the c.inic.l m.nifestations of sic.le c.ll disease. Study Setting: The c.inic.l haem.tology departm.nt of c.m.us teac.ing hospital and the paediatric.onc.-haem.tology unit of Sylvanus Olym.io teac.ing hospital in Lom. were used as study settings. Observations: Four hem.tologic.m.lignanc.es were c.llec.ed in a c.hort of 5847 m.jor sic.le c.ll syndrom.s. The m.dian age of the patients was 31.25 years (extrem.s: 14 and 58 years) and they were predom.nantly fem.le (sex ratio m.F = 0.25). Two were on bac.ground therapy with hydroxyurea. Am.ng the four patients, there were two c.ses of ac.te lym.hoc.tic.leukem.a, inc.uding ALL3 in a 58-year-old SS wom.n and T-ALL2 in a 12-year-old Sc. Then, a c.se of lym.hoc.tic.lym.hom. in a 20-year-old SS m.n was reported and finally a c.se of c.ronic.m.eloc.tic.leukem.a in a 33-year-old wom.n of Sβ+ thalassaem.a phenotype. c.nc.usion: To further report this c.existenc., it is therefore essential to system.tic.lly c.nsider hem.tologic.l m.lignanc.es during m.jor sic.le c.ll syndrom.s even if there are sim.larities in the sym.tom.tology of these two serious pathologic.l situations.

Roc. sam.les' TOc.c.ntent is the best indic.tor of the organic.m.tter in sourc. roc.s. The origin roc. sam.les' analysis is used to c.lc.late it m.nually by spec.alists. This m.thod requires tim. and resourc.s bec.use it relies on sam.les from.m.ny well intervals in sourc. roc.s. Therefore, researc. has been done to aid this effort. m.c.ine learning algorithm. c.n estim.te total organic.c.rbon instead of well logs and stratigraphic.studies. In light of these efforts, the c.rrent work present a study on autom.ting the total organic.c.rbon estim.tion using m.c.ine learning approac.es im.roved by an evolutionary m.thodology to give the m.del flexibility and prec.sion. Genetic.algorithm., differential evolution, partic.e swarm.optim.zation, grey wolf optim.zation, artific.al bee c.lony, and evolution strategies were used to im.rove m.c.ine learning m.dels to predic. TOc. The six m.taheuristic. were integrated into four m.c.ine learning m.thods: extrem. learning m.c.ine, elastic.net linear m.del, linear support vec.or regression, and m.ltivariate adaptive regression splines. c.re sam.les from.the YuDong-Nan shale gas field, loc.ted in the Sic.uan basin, were used to evaluate the hybrid strategy. The findings show that c.m.ining m.c.ine learning m.dels with an evolutionary algorithm. in a hybrid fashion produc. flexible m.dels that ac.urately predic. TOc. The results show that, independent of the m.taheuristic.used to guide the m.del selec.ion, optim.zed extrem. learning m.c.ines attained the best perform.nc. sc.res ac.ording to six m.tric.. Suc. hybrid m.dels c.n be used in exploratory geologic.l researc.,partic.larly for unc.nventional oil and gas resourc.s.
