Acute pancreatitis constitutes 3% of all admissions with abdominal pain. There are reports of osteal fat necrosis leading to periosteal reactions and osteolytic lesions following severe pancreatitis, particularly in long bones. A 54-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with acute pancretitis, who later developed spinal discitis secondary to necrotizing pancreatitis. He was treated conservatively with antibiotics and after a month he recovered completely without any neurological deficit. This case is reported for its unusual and unreported spinal complications after acute pancreatitis.

Eu（ Ⅲ ） can be utilized as an indirect electrochemical probe to investigate the interaction of bio-molecules such as DOPA and Dopamine with Ca（ Ⅱ ） in vitro. The interaction of DOPA and Dopamine with Eu（ Ⅲ ）-Eu（ Ⅱ ） redox pair was investigated by electrochemical techniques. Both the neurotransmitters are structurally related and undergo interaction with Eu （Ⅲ ）. Eu （ Ⅲ ） coordinates with DOPA and Dopamine through five-member chelate tings via carboxylic oxygen and amino nitrogen. The electrode kinetic parameters viz, transfer coefficient （αna）, diffusion coefficient （D）, forward heterogeneous rate constant （ k^0 fh） were evaluated for Eu（ Ⅲ ）-DOPA/Eu（ Ⅲ ）-Dopamine. The results obtained were used to investigate the nature of interaction of Eu （Ⅲ） with muhi-donor biomolecules. The possible mechanism was also proposed.

The benefits of regular physical activity are well ***,few studies have examined the effectiveness of integrating physical activity(PA)into curricula within a post-secondary *** investigate the incorporation of PA into medical curriculum,we developed a series of optional exercise-based review sessions designed to reinforce musculoskeletal(mSK)anatomy course *** synchronous sessions were co-taught by a group fitness instructor and an anatomy *** fitness instructor would lead students through both strength and yoga style exercises,while the anatomy instructor asked questions about relevant anatomical structures related to course material previously *** the sessions,participants were asked to evaluate the classes on their self-reported exam preparedness in improving mSK anatomy knowledge,PA levels,and mental *** participants completed surveys;a majority agreed that the classes increased understanding of mSK concepts(90.0%)and activity levels(97.7%).many(70.0%)felt that the classes helped reduce *** majority of respondents(90.0%)agreed that the classes contributed to increased feelings of social ***,medical students saw benefit in PA based interventions to supplement mSK course *** with increasing activity levels and promoting health behaviours,integrating PA into medical curriculum may improve comprehension of learning material,alleviate stress and foster social connectivity among medical students.

For the instability problem of density stratified shear flows in sea straits with variable cross sections, a new semielliptical instability region is found. rurthermore, the instability of the bounded shear layer is studied in two cases：（i） the density which takes two different constant values in two layers and （ii） the density which takes three different constant values in three layers. In both cases, the dispersion relation is found to be a quartic equation in the complex phase velocity. It is found that there are two unstable modes in a range of the wave numbers in the first case, whereas there is only one unstable mode in the second case.

Twofold hidden conformal symmetry of Kerr-Bolt black holes

Previously we have shown that a four-dimensional Kerr-Bolt black hole in non-extremal and also in extremal cases could be described by a holographic two-dimensional （2D） conformal field theory （CFT） [Ghezelbash A m, Kamali v and Setare m r 2010 Phys. rev. D 82 124051; Setare m r and Kamali v 2010 JHEP 10 074]. motivated by recent work [Chen C m, Huang Y m, Sun J r, Wu m F and Zou S J 2010 Phys. rev. D 82 066004], we show that there is another holographic description for these black holes. The first description is called the J-picture, whose construction is based on the black hole angular momentum. The new description is called the Q-picture, whose constructions originate from the nut charge of the black hole. Similar to the previous cases [Ghezelbash A m, Kamali v and Setare m r 2010 Phys. rev. D 82 124051; Setare m r and Kamali v 2010 JHEP 10 0741, we show that this new picture for a low frequency limit of the wave equation of a massless charged scalar field in the background of a Kerr-Bolt black hole can be written as the Casimir of SL（2, r） symmetry. Our result shows that the entropy of the black hole is reproduced by the Cardy formula. In addition, the absorption cross section is consistent with the finite temperature absorption cross section for a two-dimensional CFT.

The intention of this work is to remove reactive Blue 198(rB-198)dye components from simulated water solution using cold atmospheric pressure argon plasma *** solutions of rB-198 dye were treated as a function of various operating parameters such as applied potential,reaction time and distance between the plasma jet and surface of the *** efficiency of the degradation of rB-198 molecules was explored by means of Uv-vis *** reactive species involved during the treatment process were examined by optical emission spectra(OES).The present hydroxyl radicals(OH·radical)and hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)in the plasma-treated aqueous dye solutions were investigated using various spectroscopic *** other parameters such as total organic carbon(TOC),conductivity and p H were also *** toxicity of plasma-treated rB-198 solution was finally studied by diffusion bacterial analysis and by tracking seed germination *** results show that a higher degradation percentage of99.27%was acquired for the rB-198 treated at higher reaction time and applied potential,and shorter distance between the plasma jet and water *** may be due to the formation of various reactive oxygen(OH·radical,atomic oxygen(O)and H2O2)and nitrogen species(nitric oxide(NO)radicals and N2 second positive system(N2 SPS))during the processes as confirmed by OES analysis and other spectroscopy ***(17.7%-81.8%)and pH(7.5-3.4)values of the plasma-treated rB-198 decreased significantly with respect to various operation parameters,which indicates the decomposition of rB-198 molecules in the aqueous ***,the conductivity of plasma-treated rB-198 aqueous solutions was found to have increased linearly during the plasma treatment due to the formation of various ionic species in aqueous *** toxicity analysis clearly exhibits the non-toxic behavior of plasma-treated rB-198 aqueous solution towards the bacterial growth and germination of see

Integration of green chemistry principles to nanotechnology is one of the key issues in nanoscience research. The development of the concept of green nanoparticle preparation has been growingly needed for environmentally benign metal nanoparticle synthesis protocols to avoid adverse effects in medical applications. Keep this in mind, in the present study, silver nanoparticles were synthesized using Solanum lycopersicums fruit extract. The prepared silver nanoparticles were characterized by Uv-visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy techniques. The surface plasmon resonance peak was found at 445 nm. The synthesized silver nanoparticles were spherical in shape with the average size of 10 nm. The citric acid present in S. lycopersicums fruit extract acted as reducing agent and malic acid was responsible for capping of the bioreduced silver nanoparticles.

An effect of the high-power electromagnetic pulses onto the droplet of coal-water slurry inside the furnace was *** contrary to the previously investigated laser-induced fuel atomization that occurs at the room temperature,the pre-heated(to 400 K)slurry becomes dry enough to prevent the explosion-like steam ***,fuel does not atomize and the ignition does not ***,the absorption of several laser pulses leads to evident sintering of irradiated surface with following increase of the ignition delay time for up to 24%.variation of the pulse energy in range 48-118 mJ(corresponding intensity up to 2.4 J·cm^-2)leads to certain variation of the increase of ignition *** strong pulsed overheating of the coal water slurry which does not initiate the fine atomization of the fuel generally makes its ignition longer.
