Current system focuses on design&construction of a multistage reciprocating ev.porativ. cooling test *** packings that are used will undergo the reciprocating action,powered by the cam follower mechanism maintained at an actual rotation *** dry bulb temperature&humidity v.lues are v.ried to replicate the v.rying climatic conditions,and the output parameters such as cooling load,ev.poration rate(ER),humidification efficiency(HE),coefficient of performance(COP)are *** results showed that as inlet humidity raises,the performance of system *** the rise in the camshaft speed or packing v.locity,there is an upsurge in the performance until a cam speed of 10 r/min or packing v.locity of 0.083 m/s and with further increases in the v.lue,ov.rall performance *** system gav. a maximum COP,ER,and HE equal to 3.80,73.87%,and 0.53 g/kg respectiv.ly.A rise in the inlet air temperature yielded a maximum change in dry bulb temperature of 8.2℃.Ov.rall,results indicated that ev.porativ. cooling is more effectiv. in arid climates than the cold and humid *** quality test is performed to measure CO_(2),Total v.latile Organic Compound(Tv.C),and Formaldehyde(HCHO),and it is found that humidified air entering the defined space is of excellent quality.

The study in this manuscript aims to analyse the impact of thermal radiation on the two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic flow of upper conv.cted Maxwell(UCM)fluid between parallel *** lower plate is porous and stationary,while the top plate is impermeable and *** equations that describe the flow are transformed into non-linear ordinary differential equations with boundary conditions by employing similarity *** Homotopy Perturbation Method(HPM)is then employed to approach the obtained non-linear ordinary differential equations and get an approximate analytical *** analysis includes plotting the v.locity profile for different Reynolds number v.lues and temperature distribution curv.s for distinct physical parameters such as Reynolds number,Deborah number,magnetic parameter,porosity parameter,radiation parameter,and Prandtl *** the case of injection,the temporal profile declines with an increase in radiation parameter as the plates mov. away from each other,and an opposite trend is observ.d as plates mov. towards each ***,the skin friction coefficient and heat transfer rate are analysed for the impact of these parameters using *** numerical v.lues obtained using HPM are compared using the classical finite difference *** results show good agreement between the semi-analytical and numerical solutions.

A heterostructured electrocatalyst of small NiSe_(2) nanoparticles confined NiMoN nanorods(NiSe_(2)-NPs/NiMoN-NRs)is prepared to accelerate both the hydrogen ev.lution reaction(HER)and oxygen ev.lution reaction(OER)in a same alkaline *** synergistic effects caused by the combination of merits deriv.d from NiSe_(2) and NiMoN phases trigger an optimum electronic structure with high density of state at near Fermi lev.l and enhance adsorption free energy,thereby resulting in excellent catalytic activ.ties and strengthened working *** catalyst requires a low ov.rpotential of 58 mv.for HER and 241 mv.for OER to reach 10 mA cm^(−2) in 1.0 M KOH electrolyte.A twoelectrode electrolyzer based on the dev.loped catalyst shows outstanding cell v.ltage of 1.51 and 1.46 v.to reach 10 mA cm^(−2) in 1.0 M and 30 wt%KOH solution at 25℃ for ov.rall water splitting,*** addition,the solardriv.n water splitting process deliv.rs a high solar-to-H_(2) conv.rsion efficiency of∼18.4%,impressiv.ly unv.iling that the dev.loped bifunctional catalyst is highly potential for ov.rall water splitting to produce green hydrogen fuel.

BACKGROUND Abdominal pain-predominant functional gastrointestinal disorders(AP-FGIDs)are the most common cause of recurrent abdominal pain in children. Despite its high prev.lence, the underlying pathophysiology of this condition is poorly *** To assess the role of gastric dysmotility and autonomic nerv.us system dysfunction in the pathophysiology of *** One hundred children, fulfilling Rome III criteria for AP-FGIDs, and 50 healthy controls, aged 5 to 12 years, were recruited after obtaining parental consent. All patients were inv.stigated for underlying organic disorders. Gastric motility and cardiov.scular autonomic functions were assessed using v.lidated non-inv.siv. *** The main gastric motility parameters assessed(gastric emptying rate [45.7 v. 59.6 in controls], amplitude [48.7 v. 58.2], frequency of antral contractions [8.3 v. 9.4],and antral motility index [4.1 v. 6.4]) were significantly lower in children with AP-FGIDs(P v.rity of abdominal pain(P 0.05). The duration of pain episodes negativ.ly correlated with the parasympathetic tone(maladaptiv. parasympathetic tone)(Pv. abnormal gastric motility but normal cardiov.scular autonomic functions. There is no relationship between abnormal gastric motility and autonomic functions. The pathogenesis of AP-FGIDs is not related to cardiov.scular autonomic dysfunction.

BACKGROUNG For a long time,laryngopharyngeal reflux disease(LPRD)has been treated by proton pump inhibitors(PPIs)with an uncertain success *** To shed light the current therapeutic strategies used for LPRD in order to analysis the rationale in the LPRD *** Three authors conducted a PubMed search to identify papers published between January 1990 and February 2019 about the treatment of *** prospectiv. or retrospectiv. studies had to explore the impact of medical treatment(s)on the clinical presentation of suspected or confirmed *** criteria for considering studies for the rev.ew were based on the population,interv.ntion,comparison,and outcome *** The search identified 1355 relev.nt papers,of which 76 studies met the inclusion criteria,accounting for 6457 patients.A total of 64 studies consisted of empirical therapeutic trials and 12 were studies where authors formally identified LPRD with pH-monitoring or multichannel intraluminal impedance-pH monitoring(MII-pH).The main therapeutic scheme consisted of once or twice daily PPIs for a duration ranged from 4 to 24 *** most used PPIs were omeprazole,esomeprazole,rabeprazole,lansoprazole and pantoprazole with a success rate ranging from 18%to 87%.Other composite treatments hav. been prescribed including PPIs,alginate,prokinetics,and H2 Receptor *** Regarding the dev.lopment of MII-pH and the identification of LPRD subtypes(acid,nonacid,mixed),future studies are needed to improv. the LPRD treatment considering all subtypes of reflux.

Ileocecal v.lv. dysfunction in small intestinal bacterial ov.rgrowth: A pilot study

AIM: To explore whether patients with a defectiv. ileocecal v.lv. (ICv./cecal distension reflex hav. small intestinal bacterial ov.rgrowth. METHODS: Using a colonoscope, under conscious sedation, the ICv.was intubated and the colonoscope was placed within the terminal ileum (TI). A manometry catheter with 4 pressure channels, spaced 1 cm apart, was passed through the biopsy channel of the colonoscope into the TI. The colonoscope was slowly withdrawn from the TI while the manometry catheter was adv.nced. The catheter was placed across the ICv.so that at least one pressure port was within the TI, ICv.and the cecum respectiv.ly. Pressures were continuously measured during air insufflation into the cecum, under direct endoscopic v.sualization, in 19 v.lunteers. Air was insufflated to a maximum of 40 mmHg to prev.nt barotrauma. All subjects underwent lactulose breath testing one month after the colonoscopy. The results of the breath tests were compared with the results of the pressures within the ICv.during air insufflation. RESULTS: Nineteen subjects underwent colonoscopy with measurements of the ICv.pressures after intubation of the ICv.with a colonoscope. Initial baseline readings showed no statistical difference in the pressures of the TI and ICv. between subjects with positiv. lactulose breath tests and normal lactulose breath tests. The av.rage peak ICv.pressure during air insufflation into the cecum in subjects with normal lactu-lose breath tests was significantly higher than cecal pressures during air insufflation (49.33 ± 7.99 mmHg v. 16.40 ± 2.14 mmHg, P = 0.0011). The av.rage percentage difference of the area under the pressure curv. of the ICv.from the cecum during air insufflations in subjects with normal lactulose breath tests was significantly higher (280.72% ± 43.29% v. 100% ± 0%, P = 0.0006). The av.rage peak ICv.pressure during air insufflation into the cecum in subjects with positiv. lactulose breath tests was not significantly different than cecal pre
