Objectives: To study the change of CD16 + 56 in zona. Materials and Methods: 62 zona patients admitted at Inpatient Department of Dermatology, venereology Allergy, 108 Military Central Hospital, and 30 healthy volunteers who were matched for age and sex participated in this study. Prospective, cross-sectional study with controls was conducted. We measured the number of CD16 + CD56 by flow cytometry using FACS Callibur. Results: The mean level of CD16 + 56 in zona patients was 253 ± 200 (106 cells/l), which was lower than that of control group but then increased after treatment. The change of CD16 + 56 did not correlate with patients’ age. Patients who were in severe condition or had affected size from 3% or more had a lower number of CD16 + 56 than control group. Conclusion: The number of CD16 + 56 in zona patients were lower than that of healthy people.

Objective:To investigate the prevalence and risk factors associated with long COvID symptoms among children and adolescents who have recovered from ***:This study applied a cross-sectional approach within community settings in a southern province of vietnam.A structured questionnaire featuring socio-demographic information and common long COvID symptoms was *** correlation coefficients assessed associations among pairs of long COvID ***,multivariable logistic regression models were performed to investigate the risk factors of long COvID in recovered COvID-19 children and ***:Among 422 participants,39.3%reported long COvID symptoms,with a prevalence of 45.2%(SD=0.5)in children and 22.2%(SD=0.4)in *** symptoms reported were cough 34.6%(SD=0.5),fatigue 20.6%(SD=0.4),shortness of breath 10.9%(SD=0.3),and lack of appetite 6.6%(SD=0.3).Concerning risk factors of long COvID,a higher risk was observed among demographic groups,including girls(OR 1.25,95%CI 1.15-1.37;Pverweight individuals(OR 1.14,95%CI 1.02-1.27;P=0.018,reference:healthy weight),and participants without any COvID-19 vaccination(OR 1.36,95%CI 1.20-1.54;Pve received only one single dose(OR 1.35,95%CI 1.10-1.64;P=0.004)compared to those who have received two ***,patients with a COvID-19 treatment duration exceeding two weeks also had a higher risk of long COvID(OR 1.32,95%CI 1.09-1.60;P=0.003)than those who recovered less than seven ***:The insights from this study provide crucial guidance for predicting the factors associated with the occurrence of long COvID in pediatric patients,contributing to strategic interventions aimed at mitigating the long COvID risks among children and adolescents in vietnam.

Two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMD)are atomically thin semiconductors with promising optoelectronic applications across the visible ***,their intrinsically weak light absorption and the low photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)restrict their performance and potential use,especially in ultraviolet(Uv)wavelength light *** dots(QD)derived from 2D materials(2D/QD)provide efficient light absorption and emission of which energy can be tuned for desirable light *** this study,we greatly enhanced the photon absorption and PLQY of monolayer(1L)tungsten disulfide(WS_(2))in the Uv range via hybridization with 2D/QD,particularly titanium nitride MXene QD(Ti_(2)N MQD)and graphitic carbon nitride QD(GCNQD).With the hybridization of MQD or GCNQD,1LWS_(2)showed a maximum PL enhancement by 15 times with 300 nm wavelength excitation,while no noticeable enhancement was observed when the excitation photon energy was less than the bandgap of the QD,indicating that Uv absorption by the QD played a crucial role in enhancing the light emission of 1L-WS_(2)in our 0D/2D hybrid *** findings present a convenient method for enhancing the photo-response of 1L-WS_(2)to Uv light and offer exciting possibilities for harvesting Uv energy using 1L-TMD.

The bacterial pathogen Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) colonizes in over half of the world’s population. H. pylori that establishes life-long infection in the stomach is definitely associated with gastro-duodenal diseases and a wide variety of non-gastrointestinal tract conditions such as immune thrombocytopenia. Triple therapy which consists of a proton pump inhibitor and combinations of two antibiotics (amoxicillin, clarithromycin or amoxicillin, metronidazol) is commonly used for H. pylori eradication. Recently, the occurrence of drug-resistant H. pylori and the adverse effect of antibiotics have severely weakened eradication therapy. Generally antibiotics induce the disturbance of human gastrointestinal microflora. Furthermore, there are inappropriate cases of triple therapy such as allergy to antibiotics, severe complications (liver and/or kidney dysfunction), the aged and people who reject the triple therapy. These prompt us to seek alterative agents instead of antibiotics and to develop more effective and safe therapy with these agents. The combination of these agents actually may result in lower a dose of antibiotics. There are many reports world-wide that non-antibiotic substances from natural products potentially have an anti-H. pylori agent. We briefly review the constituents derived from nature that fight against H. pylori in the literature with our studies.

Objective: To examine the in vitro and in vivo anti-inflammatory effects of the alkaloid enriched extract(ELA) from the roots of Eurycoma longifolia. Methods: The in vitro antiinflammatory effects of ELA were evaluated by examining its inhibitory activities against nitric oxide(NO) production and inducible nitric oxide synthase(iN OS) and cyclooxygenase2(COX-2) expressions in lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. The level of NO produced in the culture media was determined by Griess method. The i NOS and COX-2 protein expressions were analyzed by Western blot. The in vivo effect of ELA was evaluated on LPS-induced septic shock in mice model. Mice mortality was monitored for5 days after injection of LPS. The chemical contents of the ELA were determined by using various chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques. Results: The ELA was found to exhibit a significant anti-inflammatory effect in both in vitro and in vivo models. The results demonstrated that ELA dose-dependently inhibited LPS-induced NO production as well as the protein iN OS and COX-2 expressions. In the septic shock model, ELA dose-dependently protected mice from LPS-induced mortality. Further study on the isolated components of ELA indicated that 9,10-dimethoxycanthin-6-one may contribute significantly to the antiinflammatory effects of the extract. Conclusions: These results suggest that ELA exhibits the anti-inflammatory activity via suppression of pro-inflammatory mediators such as NO, iN OS,and COX-2 and protects mice from LPS-induced mortality in septic shock model.

Rapid industrialization in vietnam has resulted in the difficult task of finding means to properly manage the generation of industrial waste. In an attempt to deal with this problem, the vietnamese government revised the Law on Environmental Protection of 2005, with which it imposed strict regulations on industrial waste generators and the waste they discharge. However, questions remain about the current industrial solid waste management system because of the discrepancy between the ideals embodied in the Law and the actual practices occurring in industry. We report here on the effectiveness of governmental policies, focusing on environmental performance in industrial zones in Ho Chi Minh City （HCMC）, vietnam. We examined government records, and reports from waste generators, as well as waste treatment methods at sites. In addition, on-site surveys were carried out at 44 companies in HCMC in 2009 and 2010 to obtain a better understanding of the companies＇ handling of and attitude toward the industrial waste they produced. Our results show that the incoherence of the revised Law and regulations in industrial waste management has caused a serious pressure on domestic landfills. We conclude that there is a strong need for change in the current regulatory and management system in order to increase the effectiveness of environmental management for future sustainable development.

Estimation of Waste Generation and Recycling Potential from Traditional Market: A Case Study in Hue City, vietnam

This study was conducted to provide a detailed description of waste generation and characteristics from a traditional market in Hue city, located in central vietnam. The authors conducted a waste generation survey and a waste composition survey for 309 stalls/vendors in five markets by 17 business categories for 10 consecutive days. The waste generation rates by stall/vendor and by floor area were assessed in three waste categories: general waste, recyclable, and food residues. The general waste that would be sent to a landfill site was classified into 10 physical categories and 77 sub-categories. For general waste, food waste accounted for the largest part, followed by plastic and grass. By multiplying the waste generation rate by stall/vendor by the total number of stall/vendors in 23 markets, the authors estimated the total amounts of general waste, recyclable, food residue and total waste by business category. The total waste generated from market was 17.0 tons/day, of which 4.6 tons (27.1%) were collected by pig farmers for feeding livestock and 0.6 tons (3.6%) were sold to the recycling market. The composting potential accounted for 55.2% of total waste generation from the traditional market in Hue. The recycling potential accounted for 5.1%. The total disposal amount sent to the landfill site would be reduced from 69.2% to 8.8% of the total. The 95% confidence interval (CI) of total waste amount from 23 markets was also estimated using Monte Carlo simulation based on the mean and standard error of the waste generation rate. The range of 95% CI was 14.9 - 18.9 tons/day.

This research analyzes and answers the question ＂Does customer experience management impact to customer loyalty shopping at supermarket, in the case of Mekong Delta, vietnam？＂, 321 customers of supermarkets in the Mekong Delta were interviewed by questionnaire. The descriptive statistics, factor analysis, Cronbach＇s alpha, structural equation modeling, and multi-group structural analysis methods were used in this study. The results confirm that customer experience management impacts to customer loyalty shopping at supermarkets. There are six components of customer experience management including brand name, space, commodity, staff, parking lot, and the presence of other stores in supermarkets. In particular, the commodity composition has the strongest impact on customer experience management and satisfaction and directly influences on customer loyalty. In addition, elements of customer experience management affect customer loyalty indirectly through sensory experience, social experience, and satisfaction. The results of multivariate analysis show that age group, spending per shopping at supermarkets, and marital status of the client do not change the relationships in the research model. Meanwhile, the relationship of the different models of the client group income, gender, education, occupation and customers is different. This study adds value to consumer behavior and customer experience management literature.
