Flood Maps and Bank Shifting of Dharla River in Bangladesh

Bangladesh is prone to severe flooding as being located at the confluence of three mighty rivers named the Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Meghna. As a consequence, river flooding and erosion are common natural disasters that severely affect the landscape, lives and economy of the country. Dharla River, one of the trans-boundary rivers originated in the Himalayas, along with Brahmaputra River has a great influence on the recurring floods and erosion in north-western Bangladesh. Almost in every year, excessive erosion and embankment damages caused by Dharla render a thousand of people homeless with massive loss of crops and poultries. As per the environmentalists, this is a matter of huge concern as development of accurate flood maps and erosion prediction for Dharla River has been very challenging. In this study, the flood map and Dharla River bank shifting study have been developed by using HEC-RAS 4.1.0 hydrodynamic model and Landsat satellite images. In addition, the HEC-GeoRAS was used to establish the river reach for HEC-RAS. The calibration and validation have been performed using the observed and simulated water levels for the years of 2013 and 2014 respectively. The HEC-RAS flood water level output was used in HEC-GeoRAS for raster interpolation followed by overlain onto the land surface elevation of the study area. Then, the difference between water level interpolation and land elevation surfaces has been considered as a depth of inundation which is performed in Arc-Map 10.2. Flood maps have been generated for the years 2010, 2013, and 2014 for highest water level of each year. The erosion prone areas have been indicated by analyzing bank shifting of Dharla River for the years 1987, 1997, 2007, and 2017 by digitizing the satellite images in Arc-GIS 10.2. From the observation it has been found that the course of the Dharla River has been shifted vastly since 1987 to 2017 due to erosion.

CAR T Cell Immunotherapy That Revolutionary Breakthrough in Human Oncology Treatment: A Review

The discovery of CAR T cell immunotherapy, also known as chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell immunotherapy, has added a new dimension to the world of cancer treatment. This is a gene-based treatment in which T cells from the patient’s body are taken and genetically engineered in the lab to grow receptors. T cells containing this receptor are then injected into the patient’s body to bind to the antigen on the surface area of the cancer cell and kill the cancer cell. Structurally, the co-stimulatory domain added to CAR T cells has now reached the 5th GEN of chimeric antigen receptor T cells. Chimeric antigen T cell immunotherapy is the first FDA-approved treatment for hematological malignancies that is both safe and effective. However, due to some challenges such as a lack of safety control, an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, ineffective T cell trafficking, and so on, CAR-T immunotherapy treatment for solid malignancy is still in the clinical phase. In the result and discussion, we have presented a survey of CAR T cell therapy with a combination of pharmacological drugs. The things we mentioned are that CAR T cell immunotherapy is innovative, suitable, elegant, and also controls synergistic anti-cancer effects. A better understanding of combinatory CAR T cell therapies provides fundamental information for improvement of those therapies, in addition to the article highlighting future opportunities, commercial advancements, and various applications of CAR T cell therapy in different cancer cells. In the entire review article, we have highlighted the neck and crop of CAR T cell therapy, from which it is easy to understand the therapy and the need for this therapy in cancer prevention and its progress.

目的比较两种最常用的抗癫痫药物——苯巴比妥和卡马西平在孟加拉儿童癫痫患者中应用时的行为学副作用。设计前瞻性随机对照单中心研究。地点孟加拉 Dhaka 儿童专科医院。对象 108例2～15岁全身性强直-阵挛发作(51例)或局限性继发全身性发作(57例)的患儿。主要结局评估指标癫痫控制和行为学副作用。结果 91例患儿随访12个月。6例需改用其他抗癫痫药物。比较了85例患儿的药物副作用。药物治疗和随访1年,在随访中的后1/4时间,71例患儿未再癫痫发作。随机分组后,苯巴比妥组32例102天、卡马西平组39例74天未再癫痫发作。10例患儿行为学问题增多,其中4例不能接受(苯巴比妥组1例,卡马西平组3例)。但独立 t 检验显示,两组试验药物间没有显著性差异。结论在资源缺乏的国家,苯巴比妥不引起癫痫儿童过多的行为学副作用。临床试验注册号 NCT00381537[***]。

In this paper,we introduce mon-symbolic method to obtain the generating functions of the hybrid class of Hermite-associated Laguerre and its associated *** obtain the series definitions of these hybrid special ***,we derive the double lacunary generating functions of the Hermite-Laguerre polynomials and the Hermite-Laguerre-Wright ***,we find multiplicative and derivative operators for the Hermite-Laguerre-Wright polynomials which helps to find the symbolic differential equation of the Hermite-Laguerre-Wright *** concluding remarks are also given.

Alkaloids, flavonoids, polyphenols might be responsible for potent antiarthritic effect of Solanum nigrum

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate in vitro and in vivo antiarthritic potential of Solanum nigrum (S. nigrum). METHODS: Aqueous methanolic (70∶30) extract of S. nigrum was prepared. The in vitro antiarthritic effect was evaluated in terms of its inhibition of protein denaturation and membrane stabilization. While, formaldehyde, complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) and Collagen induced arthritis rat models were used to study in vivo antiarthritic activities of S. nigrum at dose level of 200, 400 and 800 mg/kg. RESULTS: The extract exhibited inhibition of protein denaturation and protected red blood cell by stabilizing the membranes in a concentration dependent manner, with maximum effect attained at 800 μg/mL. Moreover, there was a marked reduction in paw edema observed in extract treated animals, when compared to arthritic control animals in all in vivo models and 800 mg/kg dose got maximum reduction of paw edema. N^(6)-methyladenosine(m^(6)A),which is added,removed,and interpreted by m^(6)A writers,erasers,and readers,respectively,is the most abundant modification in eukaryotic *** m^(6)A marks play a pivotal role in the regulation of floral transition in *** LOCUS K(FLK),an RNA-binding protein harboring K-homology(KH)motifs,is known to regulate floral transition by repressing the levels of a key floral repressor FLOWERING LOCUS C(FLC)in ***,the molecular mechanism underlying FLK-mediated FLC regulation remains *** this study,we identified FLK as a novel mRNA m^(6)A reader protein that directly binds the m^(6)A site in the 3ʹ-untranslated region of FLC transcripts to repressing FLC levels by reducing its stability and ***,FLK binding of FLC transcripts was abolished in vir-1,an m^(6)A writer mutant,and the late-flowering phenotype of the flk mutant could not be rescued by genetic complementation using the mutant FLKm gene,in which the m^(6)A reader encoding function was eliminated,indicating that FLK binds and regulates FLC expression in an m^(6)A-dependent ***,our study has addressed a long-standing question of how FLK regulates FLC transcript levels and established a molecular link between the FLK-mediated recognition of m^(6)A modifications on FLC transcripts and floral transition in Arabidopsis.

Antihypertensive efficacy of extract of Hedera helix in high salt-induced hypertensive Sprague-Dawley rats

Objective: To explore the antihypertensive effect of extracts from the leaves of Hedera helix(H. helix) on normotensive and hypertensive rats in-vivo followed by vasodilatory studies ***: The crude methanolic extract was prepared and the activity directed fractionation was carried out. Spectrophotometric analysis of total phenolic and flavonoid content was also done. HPLC analysis was performed for the detection of hederacoside C. In-vivo blood pressure study was carried out in normotensive and high salt-induced hypertensive SpragueDawley rats. Isolated aortic tissues from rat and rabbit were used for in-vitro studies. The effects were recorded and analyzed through PowerL ab data acquisition system. Results: Crude extract of H. helix(1-30 mg/kg) decreased blood pressure to greater extent in high salt-induced hypertensive rats in-vivo compared to the normotensive [Max. fall(58.59±0.02) mm Hg vs.(67.53±3.07) mmH g]. The n-hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate and aqueous fractions were also checked. These fractions were more effective in hypertensive rats. Aqueous fraction was more potent and n-hexane the least. In isolated rat aortic rings precontracted with phenylephrine, crude extract induced endothelium-dependent effect. The endothelium-dependent component of vasodilatory effect was ablated with L-NAME, and denudation of endothelium. The aqueous fraction was most potent vasodilator. In aortic rings from hypertensive rats, extract and fractions produced partial endothelium-independent effect which was not affected by pretreatment with L-NAME, indicating endothelium dysfunction in the hypertensive rats and suggesting additional vasodilatory mechanisms. In rabbit aorta, the extract and fractions also inhibited phenylephrine and high K^+-induced precontractions, and shifted Ca^(++) concentration–response curves. Conclusions: Our findings indicate that extract and fractions of H. helix are antihypertensive remedies, which is the outcome of vasodilatory effect.

一致性问题在多智能体网络的研究中具有重要的理论意义和应用价值。文章采用合适的方法解决了该领域中存在的一致性问题。文章首先明确并提出了在多智能体的通信问题中的两种协调类型。在第一种类型中,通过一个连续的最大化过程可以消除变量并简化智能体的结构。在第二种类型中,协调方式是通过消息传递的形式来进行的。这种协调方式要求相邻智能体之间可以重复发送消息。对于接收端的智能体来说,传递的信息是一个局部的效益函数。当智能体集合到特定点或者接受到外部信号时将终止该过程。在文章中,我们分别提出了这两种协调类型下计算最佳响应函数的算法。此外,针对多智能体的编队问题,本文提出了一种基于级联控制系统理论的车辆编队跟踪控制器。文章还给出了一种新的一致性条件,通过MATLAB,我们对多种车辆编队模式进行了仿真。输入和通信延迟是多智能体系统和一致性中的主要问题。为了解决该问题,本文提出了利用状态预测反馈的方法来设计降低延迟反馈的拓扑结构。通过仿真可以验证当通信链路之间引入了智能体状态缓冲器后,多智能体系统可以更好实现一致性。在多智能体协调控制中,相邻智能体之间存在相关状态信息不相邻的现象。为了解决这个问题,本文提出了基于相邻智能体的状态输出的完全分布式自适应协议:自适应协议I和自适应协议II。自适应协议I是在通信图形中给每个边缘分配随时间变化的耦合权重;自适应协议II是为给每个结点分配不同的时变耦合权重。这两个自适应协议旨在任意的非直接相关的通信图可以通过完全分布式的方式达到一致性,而不需要通信图中的任何全局信息。通过MATLAB仿真,理论结果得以验证。
